Well, there it was. The thing they had been looking for just fell from the stupid bakeneko's manky fists without anyone even coming near it. If he had known that all it was going to take was a bit of a distraction, he would have just punched the tree and been done with it.

He took Holly's hand when it was offered, choosing to otherwise ignore her while he rose to his feet and busied himself by brushing dirt off of his jacket and pants. Stupid pets. Stupid pins. Stupid trees. Especially stupid climbing. His attention quickly shifted back to Holly when she hit him, but he didn't jump or cry out.

What? Pins? Oh, right.

"How'my s'posedta remember? 't'snot like I need..."

West's eyes narrowed a fraction as he noticed the ghoul's choice of attire. He was unpleasantly reminded of the Scarentine's dance for a brief moment, but he quickly decided that this wasn't even remotely as painful. Sure, there were no pajamas in sight, but neither was there anything clingy or red, and there were certainly no significant girl parts hanging out anywhere.

It all seemed very... Holly.

West realized he was staring.

He cleared his throat. "'Least it'snotta dress," he quipped, a mocking little smile touching his lips. He shrugged slightly, still smirking. "Sure, I'll go. G'luck keepin' tha'thing'way frommer pin," he said, turning to head back to his dorm.
