Zan frowned then stuck her tongue out at Ilmenite, she didn't appreciate being flipped off. Of course, he probably didn't appreciate being boo'd at. Rubbing her face she saw the glowsticks moving. Oh no, the light was going away. Not wanting to be left in the dark she ran, well more like stumbled, after him, not realizing she was moving through the door and deeper into the warehouse.

As she stumble-ran and almost fell she could hear someone cursing behind her, a frown tugging on her lips. Why did so many people curse? Did their grandmother's never tell them to use their words like hers had? Unfortunately she didn't have a chance to go back and explain this important life lesson to the late officer, already through the door.

Someone was singing and singing terrible. Mica wanted to cover her ears, but that would mean taking a hand off her cane, and that would be bad. Instead, she decided to she needed to get away from the singing. There was a door, why hadn’t she thought of that before?

Mica tried to make a beeline for the door, but bees don’t meander on wobbly legs like a newborn foal’s. As a result, Scheecrab beat her to the door. The boo-er too. Well, goody, Captains and kiddies first, but they better hurry up or Mica was going to fall on them if she felt the need to plug her ears.

Someone had just shown up - nice of 'em to join the party - and complaining about the smoke. Well, duh.

" It's the blue." She responded. " It's the blue's fault."

That made sense, right? Right. The smoke was blue.

It would seem the Blood Moon Court had a sense of humor after all. Or they just had a senshi who had gotten very, very unlucky in the cosmic lottery that was senshi magic. Maybe senshi just really enjoyed smoke, Captain Scheelite, have you ever thought of that? And why not, after all, the Negaversers were the ones singing.

If the Blood Moon Court hadn't tortured their captives enough, Ilemnite's singing was sure to do the trick.

As the Negaverse crew - now drunk, singing, dancing, and crab-walking their way through the doorway – entered the next room, they would be faced with a rather surprising sight. No traps. No monsters. No smoke or strings or falling spikes. There was just a clear pane of bulletproof glass with air holes drilled high in the top, a large vent high up on the wall to their right, and two young women standing on the other side of the glass.

One of them, several of them would recognize as none other than Sailor Lyra.

The other they would not know. Her name was Sailor Akerian, and with a smile she gave a little wave, revealing a small remote control in her palm. She pressed the button, and...

She could hear them coming.

They were close by, they had tripped the first trap. Setting the stage for the next few minutes... they would all be effected by the smoke they had set up just in case. It was a good thing the BMC had thought to set up the warehouse this way, a deterrent or at least something to slow them down and weaken them. She had no idea what effects the gas would have on them, it was experimental... no one she knew of really dared to test it.

Or if they had, they did not tell anyone else what effects they had.

Voices approached closer now.. ever closer. She was fidgeting now, looking for something in the room. Something she was to fetch, something she was sent to grab. Finding it finally, she tucked it under her arm a moment before the door swung open. Lyra was not the only senshi within the room, another girl named Sailor Akerian was with her.

To see.... the circus coming to town.

What the flying monkies.. no wonder no one said the effects and just put it there. Singing...was that bad romance?, Lyra resisted the urge to sing the next line out of instinct. Drunken endeavors, .....crabwalking, what the ******** was that Scheelite? He looked rather much like a foot stool at the moment, she wondered if anyone was going to hitch a ride....

Snapping out of staring, she looked towards the other senshi with a nod.

"Nebula Scatter!" She cried out, sending her OWN wave of particle mist into the air to mix with the previous rooms. It was a colorful mix of almost sand like floating grains, but more rainbow than anything else. It was meant to slow down and confuse. It would sting the eyes of anyone without protective eye gear, and make breathing a labor.

The attack did not effect senshi.

Lyra nodded one last time at the other female, before darting out of the room.

Scheelite would have preferred singing. Singing was fun! Singing was awesome! But bitching raving crabs did not sing, they walked like ******** bosses. But Scheelite hated the universe for it's constant barrage of smoke his way. Hated it. So much.

So of course, while he had the momentary relief that this room didn't contain any traps, corpses, or smoke, the universe decided to give him the middle finger yet again.

There was Lyra. Oh how he hated you Lyra, he was simply bubbling in RAGE at you right now!

And then there was smoke AGAIN. AGAIN. And Scheelite broke his crab routine to give his battle cry once again.

Rushing into the next room she nearly fell as she came to a sudden halt. Why was there a glass pane in front of them? And who...she squinted behind her glasses inspecting the sailor senshi. She didn't recognize either of them, but that wasn't surprising. She hadn't had many encounters with senshi, past the large battle in Elysion.

When the rainbow glitter mist reached them Zan started coughing, hunched over. What the heck was with all the smoke? She tried to cover her mouth, but it didn't help. Her eyes were watering behind her glasses as well, the black frames not much protection.

Hearing Scheelite curse she winced. It wasn't her place to teach everyone etiquette, but a lot of the Negaverse severely needed lessons. At least in her opinion.

Ilmenite's eyes landed on the familiar senshi for a moment before he recognized her: one of the few on the opposing team that he would actually recognize at a glance. One of the few he'd spoken to, and it hadn't been a pleasant speaking or a pleasant meeting. The innermost part of him wanted to growl at her or say something snarky: unfortunately the outermost part was still singing 'la la la' off key because he didn't even kind of know the rest of the words.

Zink was the lead singer, he could just play backup.

He took one step forward as he girl ran back, and then made a pained noise, the glitter in his eyes and hair, itchy and uncomfortable, almost up to the glass before he froze to wipe at his face.

Zink's eyes widened behind his goggles than narrowed in fury. Oh he was going to KILL them... Maybe even Lyra... well no maybe not lyra ******** why did she have to tell him what she did and then...THERE SHE WAS.

His hands tightened into white knuckled fists, he glanced at the air holes, oh yeah he was going to try and make use of those.

He launched a smoke pellet at the air holes.

The next room didn’t have smoke, but it had a glass wall with holes. That was kinda silly, who put holes in a wall? Weren’t walls supposed to be solid?

… and then there was more smoke. Right, that explained it. Damn Senshi. Now her eyes stung.

As Sailor Akerian pressed the button, panels in the floor opened up, and both she and General Zinkenite fell out of sight! The panels closed as quickly as they had opened, forbidding the others to follow.

Without their General, none present could risk teleporting to the other side of the glass to check the door. However, that air vent looked just about big enough for a person to fit through... if only they could get up there!

No.

No no no no no NO.

Somewhere in that string of no's they had become verbal, the captain crabwalking his way to where Zink had last been seen (******** this god damn smoke it was SO HARD TO SEE, but he knew Zink had been over here!), only for him to suddenly flop his way onto his stomach to free up his hands for a very important task.

Despite the rainbow particles, despite the itchiness and general unpleasantness of being in smoke yet again (******** you Universe), despite the primal screams that could be heard faintly through their floor. Despite all of this, Scheelite was focused on one very important task.

The blonde captain pounded as hard as he could on the panels, trying his damned best to get through to them.

"ZINKENITE! No no NO let me IN god damnit! LYRA. GET BACK HERE, no no no no NO."

They couldn't be separated, Scheelite was Zinkenite's self appointed bodyguard. He had to be there for him! And in this place, splitting up was dangerous..it could even mean death.

For the moment, the captain was of no use to the lieutenants in the room. There was no consoling the scheecrab as he struggled to get through the floor itself to the one that meant the very most to him. And, for now, his own wail of "NO NO NO NO!" joined the screams coming from somewhere up ahead.

Mica rubbed her eyes, and when she opened them, Zinkenite was gone. Gone. The General just vanished in the blink of an eye. That left the little rescue group with one Captain – the now screaming and raging Scheelite – and a bunch of Lieutenants. Great.

Eyeing the large-ish air vent, Mica eyed the gathered Lieutenants until she saw one smaller then her.

“ I'll give you a boost.” She said to Zanazziite, nodding her head at the air vent.

Even being attacked by angry rainbow glitter Zan still saw Zinkenite fall through the floor. Scrubbing her eyes behind her glasses looking around. Did anyone else see that? By the look on some of their faces she could tell they had.

She wasn't sure if it was the shock of seeing someone fall through the floor or being away from the blue smoke, but the bluenette found herself being able to think more clearly. Staring at the glass pane, her eyes slid upwards to the vent. Could someone fit through there? She was small, she might be able to do it. She wasn't sure how it would help though, having someone on the other side of the glass. But it had to be better than just milling around doing nothing right? And maybe there was a way forwards or something on the other side.

Her thoughts were interrupted by yelling from Scheelite. Turning towards him she frowned, obviously he was more upset by the General's disappearance than she had been. She was torn between consoling him and letting him be, and eventually letting him be won out. She didn't know what to say in that type of situation.

Mica's words caught her attention and she turned towards her. It seemed they had the same idea. "Alright," She moved closer to the vent ready to be boosted up.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 07, 2011 6:20 pm

Mica walked to the air vent and knelt beneath it. Deciding not to rely on her questionable arm strength, Mica said, “ Come on then, stand on my shoulders.”

Ok this was weird. And not the regular weird either like the extreme weird. She was dancing even though she didn’t want to dance. She looked like Rebecca Back in the back seat, which was just not attractive at all. Well at least she wasn’t singing because she would be the next YouTube star with the most dislike and that was hard to come by. Bisintine quickly look around moving to the unknown beat in her head to try and gain her bearing but as soon as she move around another hit from a sailor scout fired her way. The pain was horrible and not only was she dancing now she was dancing blind. She yelled, “Anyone! Anyone at all can help me out?” She hope her cried would get someone attention to explain what the heck had just happen.
