With a strained smile, he corrected his newly acquired friend about his attire. "It is a yukata actually... At least that is what my guardian tells me anyways..."
Mentally, he added 'It...It doesn't look like a dress does it?' Looking around, he took note on how not many were wearing yukatas either. 'But... but Ito said men wore them too!' A sense of disbelief swelling from within him. Ito would not lie to him, Yasuo was sure of it, but... it was possible that his guardian could be wrong about certain facts.
Yasuo was feeling more self-conscious about his masculinity... or lack of, apparently. Men aren't suppose to have pretty names...
Yasuo quickly snapped his attention back to reality when someone who seemed to be familiar with Emmy appeared. He smiled and bowed slightly at Emmy's way of introducing the two of them.
"It is nice to meet you Jun, and you as well... um... Jun's friend." Finishing with a faint blush. The feeling of embarrassment intensifying for calling Jun's friend well...."Jun's friend".

Ichigo tugged on the string to his light pink balloon, watching it fight the downward force of his finger. It was futile for the balloon, there was no way for it to escape. Instead it just bopped Ichigo on the forehead when the mochi boy pulled a little too hard.
"Oof! Haha, why was it that these things float again?" He vaguely remembered Tsubaki mentioning something about heelum, and something about funny voices, but the boy wasn't quite sure. He'd ask her now except work had suddenly called her back in, so he was to fend for himself today. Though to be honest, being alone isn't something he's not familiar with. "At least I have you with me Kuma-P," murmured the child, looking at the bear-backpack he had brought with him, it's wry smile and smug look faithfully guarding the boy's belongings.
The child was wearing a sailor-collared top with light green accents and matching pants, his long, light pink hair held up and out of his face with a fuzzy white scrunchy. Growing bored of taunting the balloon, Ichigo slung Kuma-P onto his back and set out for adventure.
It didn't take much time for the mochi to locate where all the fun was at. He felt like maybe he had seen one of the four at the Christmas party, but most of that party was a bit of a blur so he couldn't quite recall. Before he could dwell on the thought much longer however, a certain green garment caught his eye and the child bounced over, unable to contain his excitement.
"Is that a yukata?" Popping up beside Yasuo, Ichigo continued, "That is so cool, I haven't seen one in person before! I wanted to wear one coming here because it's a fair and a fair is kinda like a matsuri and that's what people wear to those and I think samurai also wear them and--" he paused to breath, and finally remembered that there were other people present. "Ah ha... sorry about that, I'm just really excited-- ahem. Hi, I'm Ichigo Ezaki, nice to meet you all!"
Holding out his non-ballooned hand, he beamed at them.

'Long pink hair...' He thought when a new person appeared to the group. 'Really long pink hair...' Yasuo lowered his gaze to stare at the boy's(he wasn't really sure...) outstretched hand, wondering what the gesture was for. Was he suppose to do something with it?
'Ito said people would... take another's hand and what was it? Shake it as a greeting?' Yasuo opened his mouth to mention how unfamiliar he was with the customs around here but thought better of it. He did not want to appear stupid. His pride refused to admit how much he lacked in social normalcy. If one would call invasion of personal space, sudden ramblings, kissing on cheeks the social norm amongst people.
So he took Ichigo's hand carefully and shook it sideays. His cheeks blazing with nervousness. Oh goodness, what if he was doing this hand-shaking business thing wrong?

Emery blinked and looked at the other's outfit again. "A yuukataa?" He blinked his creamy eyes and gave a small nod, still seeing it like a dress. His thoughts on it being a 'dress' didn't last very long as another bounced up and started talking a million miles an hour. Emery blinked quickly and tried to follow along with his lips. Needless to say, it didn't work very well.
Finally the new boy had slowed down enough to introduce himself and hold out a hand. Emery was just about as confused as Yasuo had been. Only Emery was confused about how the hand was presented. Papa had taught Emery to kiss a hand when making introductions. So once Yasuo was done shaking Ichigo's hand, Emery too hold of it. He gave a small bow as he leaned to give the back of the other's hand a small kiss. "It's nice to meet you!"
The boy stood back up and gently let go of the hand he just kissed. "I'm Emery!" Now that he had introduced himself, Emery looked the other over. "You look like a sailor!" He grinned, happy to see the other's outfit. It was very cool.

Jun smiled at Yasuo as Emery introduced them, chuckling when the other boy struggled to address his friend. The boy had been distracted with examining his yukata, and so he let out a surprised gasp when Ichigo seemingly popped up out of no where.
When he finally had a moment to greet him Jun took the opportunity to speak up,"It's nice to meet all of you!" He greeted, ears twitching as Yasuo accepted the handshake from Ichigo. Jun didn't say anything, but watching with a puzzled look on his face.
Once Emmy had finished his little intro, Jun grasped the others hand excitedly, bouncing a little while doing so. "My name is Jun!" The rabbit boy stopped, dropping his hand before giving a deep bow. "Nice to meet you!" He said, still giggling.

Although Yasuo's sideways handshake was a bit odd, it wasn't quite as surprising as Emery's kiss. I didn't know real people did that. Before Ichigo could dwell more on the thought however, Jun, the only boy among them that appeared to have ears--rabbit ears on top of that--grasped the mochi's hand.
Ichigo was so sure his eyes must have literally lit up and was emitting sparkles of awe. Everyone here was like those television shows he watched (and he sure did watch a lot of them) come alive. So. Awesome. The boy could feel his cheek muscles uncontrollably transform into a grin. If he wasn't careful he felt that his face might get stuck that way if this went on.
Face flushed with giddiness and trying to keep his wide-eyed stares at socially acceptable levels, Ichigo reviewed the names he was just told so as to burn them to his memory.
"Emery," whose mannerisms were like that of an English gentleman, though the accent didn't seem English.
"Jun," has rabbit ears, maybe Jun would like to meet Usa-tan some time.
"..." Turning to Yasuo, Ichigo realized that although a handshake was exchanged he didn't actually get the green haired boy's name. "...Yukata-kun?" With a quizzical look Ichigo tentatively labeled Yasuo, and continued with his mental note-taking: might be a wandering samurai--though his demeanor doesn't seem it. ...He is a boy, right?

Yasuo let out an indignigant sound that came out as a very high squeak. 'Yukata-kun???' He was so bad at this introduction thing. Yasuo mentally berated himself to introduce himself right away next time. He only hoped his nervousness and awkward social skills would not get in the way again.
"It is Yasuo..." He replied demurely, face burning cherry bright red. Averting his gaze away from Ichigo, he fidgeted with his obi, hoping to appear nonchalant. 'I am such a fool...' He then tugged on the string attached to his wrist, taking comfort of the floating green "balloon" that bounced with each tug.
What happens next now?

Breathing through his teeth Ichigo scratched the back of his head, reflecting on his likely inappropriate behavior of calling Yasuo 'Yukata-kun.' At least, the boy assumed it must have been inappropriate judging by Yasuo's indignant squeak. He took a breath and decided to face his mistakes.
"Sorry if I came off as rude, Yasuo...chan?" No, -san might be better, "...-san. Yasuo-san." Ichigo rolled the honorifics on his tongue and corrected himself. -chan was probably too presumptuous right now since they just met. Even though Ichigo would love to befriend this possible wandering samurai, and -chan sounds so much more intimate, Ichigo didn't want to insult the green clad boy any further than he might have already. Plus, if Yasuo really is an awesome samurai with awesome skills Ichigo was pretty sure he wouldn't enjoy being on the sharp side of a samurai blade.
Yasuo-san. One more time to make it sound right.
"Nice to meet you Yasuo-san! You have a very manly name!" This time, Ichigo put his arms to his sides, and made a 45 degree bow.
