Tips? West shook his head slightly as he fumbled for an answer, his subconscious replying truthfully while he racked his conscious mind for an appropriate response. Helpful hints like, "be more angry" and "start fights with burly strangers" and "enjoy the taste of your own blood" seemed a bit too masochistic for the ghoul. He had rarely thought to censor himself back home or even at his first school, but Amityville was home to a number of students who he didn't think would appreciate that sort of advice. He was fairly sure Tset was one of them. Having finally thought of a suitable reply, West stopped the faint side-to-side shake of his head.
"There's a punchin' bag 'round th'school somewhere," he said. "That'd be good. An' weights, maybe. So y'can hit harder. Jus'... practice." He nodded. There. Not too disturbing, right?

"I-I will be looking for those, then!" Practice was a solid suggestion, and one that Tsetsiliya would definitely take note of. She had heard tell of a fitness club, so that is likely where she could find those, although at this point, she wasn't sure if she was made of strong enough stuff to join the club entirely. Perhaps she should ask the club president if she could use the punching bag and weights from time to time?
The pause in conversation lingered in the air, and by that notion Tsetsiliya realized that it was probably time to head back to her own dorm. She had quite a bit of planning to do, after all, if she were to make a regular habit of this training.
"I am thinking I should go now.." She screwed the cap back onto the water bottle, fingers patting the side momentarily. "B-but thank you, for doing this for me. I am very much appreciative." A smile crossed her face and she bowed her head before making her way towards the door, where she hesitated. "I-I, uhm.. am not being sure of what I can offer as thank you, but if you are ever needing anything, please do not be hesitating to ask." There, that seemed fair, right? She wasn't sure if West was the kind who would like skinnamon rolls as a thank you.

It was a fitting place to end this strange session, and West followed Tset to the door when she turned to leave. "Hope y'learned somethin'." He kind of doubted she had, but at least she seemed motivated to practice on her own. This whole experience had forced West to realize that he wasn't a very good teacher at all, but whether he would do anything about that fact remained to be seen.
He nodded when she mentioned a payment of sorts. "I'll think'bout it. But I'm sure I dun need nothin'." Really this had all been a sort of payment for him being a horrible Scarentine's date, but he wasn't going to tell the ghoul that. "I'll, uh, see you 'round?" He smiled faintly, trying to reassure her.

While West's doubts were unbeknownst to her, Tsetsiliya definitely felt as though she has accomplished something here today. It was only a single footstep down the track, but it was a step nonetheless! If anything it made her feel as though someday she would not be so useless in a terse situation. But the key to that was to practice, practice, practice! And practice she would!
The ghoul walked into the hall and turned when West addressed her again. The ghost of a smile on his lips caused her own to move into a smile, perhaps just as unsure. "I am hoping we will, yes?" Her head dipped into a habitual nod. "A-and thank you again." She stood upright again and, still wearing that smile, turned away to head to her room. Oh yes, there was much planning to be done. Much planning.
