Glacier caught the flinch and knew that this was a subject best left alone. "True, but not knowing might be far worse than knowing. At least you know what you;re looking for and up against. And perhaps best lesson of all...how to avoid it." With that said, she let the subject drop. Life was not meant to live in constant fear. It saddened her to see Aryah so affected and inflicted by that one event.
Glacier smiled and followed Aryah slowly. She knew her time was close. The pups could easily arrive at any time. She followed her through the forest and soon Aryah seemed pleased. She had found a den. It was a little smaller but it would certainly do and keep her safe until the pups were born and could travel perhaps. "Yes it will do just fine. "Thank you so much. I do appreciate everything you are doing to help me, even though you didn't know me before today" She smiled warmly and then she stepped inside the den, finding a comfortable place close to the back and laying down. Now the hard part. trying to get cozy.

Aryah didn't want to argue with the wolfess, they were both right and she knew it. She shuddered as a memory flashed through her head but she shook the feeling off quickly, smiling at Glacier a little.
Aryah wagged her tail when Glacier thanked her for her help "It's no trouble Glacier, any decent wolf would do the same" she said, dismissing the praise off, though it made her chest swell a little to have been needed for something. She sat outside the den for a second then thought of the deer again "I'll be right back Glacier, i'm just going to bring you some more of that deer" she said, racing off to the kill before Glacier could answer.
A short while later she returned with a very large chunk of venison. "Sorry .. i'm going to have to leave soon and find Mocca and let him know we'll join him later on" she explained, laying outside the den, looking in while she talked.

Glacier smiled. " But not every wolf is a good decent wolf. Others may have looked upon me as a stranger, an intruder. But not you. You were kind....you saved my life you know. And the lives of my pups. For that I am forever greatful" Glacier nodded as she watched the young wolfess disappear to retrieve some more of the deer's flesh. She laid her head down and decided to take a little snooze while she waited. She was so worn out and tired. It would be nice to just sleep for a bit.
A short time later, Glacier awoke and blinked at Aryah with a sleepy gaze. "oh its ok. I as just catching up on my beauty sleep." Glacier flashed a grin. She wondered why Aryah did not join her in the den. "Ahh that would be a good idea likely. I'll be fine for a bit. I think I need to get some more sleep to regain strength and energy." She laid her head between her paws, all the while still watching Aryah with curiousity. Although her body was slowly making her doze off.

Aryah watched the female in the den, she'd lain down, catching her breath while the female talked and she would have blushed, had she been physically able to. "That's true but at the same time, we're not quite inside the packlands yet" she said modestly "It's nothing... most of the deer would have gone to waste to scavengers before i brought anyone back anyway" she said, passing off the thanks, not to be mean but she wasn't good with praise at all.
She yawned a little herself as she saw how sleepy Glacier was, but she couldn't rest, not yet.. she had one last errand to run before she could come back and sleep for a little while, but she wanted to make sure Glacier was settled and comfortable first. "I'll go soon, when the moon is higher" she commented, laying her head on her paws. "Sleep is good, are you sure you have enough meat? I can fetch some more before i leave if you like?" she offered, planning to go back to the kill anyway, on her way to find Mocca.
