I semi-remember when I had surgery twice... Well, mainly one since the other lasted only ten minutes.
The first was to get my tonsils and abnoids out (not sure at ALL on spellig but it wa supposed to help my snoring).They took me in a room, and I automatically started crying (4th grader D smile for my cat and mom. They style me with a needle quick, not sure what... Them they TRIED to put the knockout mask on me. I refused it so they asked me retarded questions, and I just randomly passed out after that. Like then I woke up and I think I yelled to turn the lights off. Still in the operating room so really bright lights... Then they wheeled me outand I saw the magic pony with my cat on it's back walling by me, and then I was in my room. Tried to watch TV but they gave me a room with no cable. So I heard them asked if I wanted my mom and dad, and I just nodded. They came and I slept but woke up every once in a while. Then when I got home I slept all night till 7 AM screaming for pain killers for two weeks.
The next one is weird. I hate shots and it takes 2-3 nurses to hold me down. So I got the happy pill and it didn't do s**t.... My mom told me no when I asked if I could get my ears pierced. Keep in mind I'm like a little high. I go in, my mom makes me look away and they give me the numbing shots to make you not feel it... It makes your toe go 5X bigger. I poked it then I got yelled at. He came back and cut my nail put and it tickled. So I got wrapped up, and the medicine didn't work at all.... Only the shots. Ha an ingrown toenail.

Oh dear god Morphine... I am not a girly girl by any means [Hate the color pink, refuse to watch chick flicks, etc] But give me morphine and it's rainbows and unicorns, glitter and all sorts of strange stuff. Except the time they gave it to me cold.
Normally anything that goes into a vein they're supposed to warm up so it doesn't cause the heart muscle to contract, Well one time they didn't warm the morphine and put it in, I was like Oh that bur....OMG HEAD! *passout* Mom was in the room with me and she was like the nurse was just like "Oh... my bad."

Morphine hardly even affects me at all. It took a decent amount of (Dilaudid) Hydromorphone (a derivative of morphine, but about 5x stronger) to take the edge off the pain that last time I had surgery. They used to give me Hydromorphone and Xanax at the same time at night and I still couldn't sleep. Drug tolerance really sucks sad

I run as natural as I can. I rarely even take tylenol, so the morphine was a totally new experience for me. Benedryl knocks me out for 18 hours.
