Zeta One uncurled herself from her ball as Zeta Six healed her. She looked up at him with curious eyes. "Th-thank you Six..." she said, sitting up. She'd made the right choice, following him. She smiled beneath her mask and, while she stayed in a small ball, she looked around the camp, slightly calmer and more lively looking now.

[Zeta Six is using Bandages on Himself]

He patted her a little as a show of affection. Truly he wasn't feeling up to showing more than that, but it was something for her at least, some sort of comfort that they all would probably not feel again during their stay. He backed from her slowly and took his seat back where he had fallen earlier. He allowed them to remain in their silence for now. They would make their move later, now was the time for rest.

His arms were hurting from the wrapping of the wounds. Looking at his roll of bandages he ripped one off, only to find a small purple band-aid hidden in the roll. He sighed and placed it over a cut on his arm. He didn't feel that much better, but it was more important to help the others now.

He walked to Zeta Nine.

Zeta Ten watched Zeta Six put a small bandage on his arm and wished there was something she could do for him. Based on the distribution of their bags, she was a fighter, he a medic, but it looked like he needed something more. She couldn't give him anything, not even after he had helped her with the wound on her back.

He moved from person to person healing, and she watched, deciding then that if nothing else, she would keep him alive. He deserved it, and not just because he could keep her healed. While she would fight for all of her team, she realized if there was ever a time she had to choose, she would kill for Zeta Six. She would just never tell him that.

[Zeta Six is using Bandages on Zeta Nine]

He sighed and bent down to her. She had caught some of the fire too, or at least he had assumed. He assessed her quickly and began to unravel his bandages. "Just hold still." His arms were still throbbing but he pressed on. Until they were somewhat healed he wouldn't be at ease.

He took a closer look at her charred suit and found a large patch of blood. Carefully he placed a hand on it and placed the bandage over it, grabbing some surgical tape and taping it back in place. It looked like a decent job, he was proud of it. Moving back he took a seat back where he had begun, just lying in wait. The beach was calming, but had already gone to s**t in his mind.

There was no good area to really set camps. Right now they all remained from each other, waiting for something to strike at them from the fog. Would anywhere else bode well? He sighed, they would need to keep moving to keep from something large finding them again. But would they be ready?

Zeta nine winced slightly as six fixed up the worst of her wounds, but a tiny bit more discomfort was acceptable for a bit of relief.

She smiled at what appeared to be their new medic. "Thanks". Nine relaxed a bit. She was glad that she had decided to stay with a group. God knows what she would have done if she had gone off on her own.

Sleeping sounded pretty good right now, but she needed to be alert, just incase. She wasnt sure if her whirling mind would even allow her to doze off at the moment, so she shifted around a bit to become more comfortable and gazed into the fog. Just what more horrors waited outside this camp.

Zeta Seven watched with a lazy gaze as number six set out to his healing task, the scuffling of bandages easing his crews aches and pains. He felt the dull throb of his wounds pulsate with need for attention, the discomfort digging down into his bones and much as his uncertainty was plaguing his mind like a disease. Maybe Six could be qualified to proceed with a lobotomy on him?

Could he really get these people out of here safely? His body slumped in discomfort, the suit was feeling stuffy. It was as if the fog was seeping into his body suit, choking him from the inside out.

A group of many whittled down into a tiny platoon. with heaven knows how many other groups out there, waiting in the dense fog. Oh how sleep sounded so good right now, maybe Seven could wake up and found all this to be some silly dream.

[Zeta Six is using Bandages on Zeta Seven]

Zeta Six looked at those he had healed. They looked better off now, at least content with the situation if nothing else. It was doubtful things would ever be truly calm, but at least this way none of them felt as if they were going to die.

He approached Zeta Seven carefully, opening his bandages and looking down at him. "Guess whose turn it is?" He said with a slight sing-song tone to his voice. He could feel Seven stare at him while he pulled out another band-aid, placing it over one of his smaller cuts.

Six stared at him, he'd have to do more for him. He felt he owed him that at least since he had been the one to lead him away. "That help at all?" He was hoping the answer was no so he could continue to help him. They were important, his group, not himself. If he could take care of them then he'd at least feel like he had a purpose.

[Alpha Eight is entering the thread]

He made his along the beach, walking without direction. Alpha Eight didn't take the time to examine the map properly when he first awoke and the other group had made sure to keep a tight hold on it before could properly examine it. He contemplated venturing off on his own, but without direction, this seemed fatal. For a few minutes, he felt sure that no matter which path he took, he would end up dieing alone. However, he soon noticed voices. Regular voices, not those of the crazy characters he met before. Listening in for a few minutes, he was sure of it. Possibly Zetas or Alphas that didn't follow the other group. He hoped anyway. Alpha Eight would have to play this just right. Words had sealed his fate last time. Best to keep his mouth shut for now. Yes, watch your words. That would be his new mantra.

"Excuse me, is anyone there? I don't mean any harm, just looking for others like me."

Alpha Eight's voice rang out amongst the fog. He hoped they were at least civil enough to hear him out. Still he kept a safe distance before coming into view. Never knew what to expect next on the island after all.

Zeta Six blinked and turned away from Seven. Was that a voice he heard on the wind? He stood and moved away from Seven, his body rigid and voice stern. "Who is it? Show yourself!" he said, rather demanding. It wasn't any voice he recognized, perhaps it was an Alpha.

He clenched his fists, he'd use them if he had to. Slowly he approached the fog, listening for the voice again. "If you're an Alpha and mean us no harm, throw your weapon forward." He wouldn't resort to murder, not yet, not if there were others that he could trust. He still wasn't sure if it was an Alpha or Zeta or even a threat at that manner. He was hardened, but hardened enough to kill already?

He'd have to see.

(apologies for not posting last night, certain situations in my household prevents me from spending much time on my PC at night, just temp, maybe for a week.)

Zeta Seven was lost in thought, mentally screaming and flailing over what the hell he was going to do like a headless chicken. He didn't even notice that Six was walking up to him ready to wrap him up like a mummy if necessary.
"Guess whose turn it is?"

He woke from his panicking to more panic from the creepy voice Six was using. "Eh, what? Oh, my turn already?" His body decided it was the right time to flare up in pain , cringing as he moved his burn scarred leg into a more comfortable position. "I suppose I could use some first aid if everyone's else is alright." He watched the bloke tend to his wound with band aids.

It was a hello kitty band aid. In a med kit. yeah. Thankfully no one could see him pale at the sight of the bright pink bandage. "Y'know, it helps, ya got anything else in there, maybe a shot of whiskey? Now THAT would set me right." He told him jokingly, giving his a light elbowing as he did his work. "Ok everybody lets gather up. We got go get moving soon and have to figure out where we are going and get moving ASAP." He had to try to lead and get them out here.

He picked up the gun from his holster, using the butt of the gun to draw a crude rough sketch of the map they had in the tent as he looked back up to them. "Ok, we have the Lighthouse, Town, or the Fields." he pointed to each one with his gun in case there was one who couldn't understand his chicken scratch drawings "I may be a leader, but I want to get your opinions on where we go, the sooner we can agree on a location, the faster we can mobilize, One, Nine and Ten." He poked Six in his side again, feeling the need to kid around with him. "You too Six."

He was ready to continue with what he thought about the locations, when there was a voice in the fog. Crap! was the enemy already upon us? he would have loved to get up and stand his ground, but he was currently floundering around on his a** while Six was tending to him.

So smooth Seven, so smooth. Screw that.

Zeta Seven pulled his gun cross hair sights trained on where the shadow was. "Come out from there and let us see who you are, are you alone?" Seven's voice barreled out to the mist, He'll shoot from the ground so be it if this guy attacks him.

Zeta One woke from her sleep stiff and almost hoping she was snuggled into a bunk somewhere. Then, as her subconcious faded off as her conscience came to the for front of her mind, she remembered where she was. She sat up slowly as Seven started talking about moving around. Her phone buzzed and she felt obligated to check it again. She say the text and made a note to not go anywhere without someone.

She listened back to the group, head tilting to one side. "I don't care where we go, so long as we're together," she said in her soft voice. Her head tilted to the other side as Seven seemed to take an interest in someone near by.

A buzzing phone caught nine's attention. Flicking it out she found its congratulatory message. Huh. Congratulations for surviving a day. Not something she imagined ever having to hear.

Nine cast her eyes over the quickly drawn map in the sand, resembling the one back in the tent they had awaken in. Travelling actually seemed like a wise idea right now. If they stayed still for too long they would become sitting ducks: easy targets.

But where did they go? None of the locations sounded particulary safe and appealing.

She was about to voice her opinions on the matter when suddenly her ears focused onto a sound in the fog. A human voice. She watched as the others reacted to the voice and mimicked them in getting ready for action. She really hoped they were at least kind of friendly. Fighting was certainly not very high on her list of things to do.

Emerging from the ridiculously thick fog, Alpha Eight help up both hands in an effort to display his submission to their demands. He walked as close as he could without coming too close to anyone. Fully visible to the others, he slowly brought both hands down to his side.

"I would be happy to throw down any weapons that I possessed, but I am afraid I didn't receive a weapon. I have some extra bandages, but that is all. And you shouldn't worry as I wasn't followed and I'm alone. I'm not looking for any trouble, just some folks to travel with and you know, survive. Haha."

Still keeping a relatively safe distance from the others, he examined them once over. He didn't recognize anyone from before. Good to know. He needed a fresh start and any lingering feelings would only mean trouble in the future.

"If I had whiskey I think I'd have already doused myself in it." Zeta Six replied back to Seven while watching the fog carefully. He glanced back at the suggestion of leaving, "Perhaps we'd get more answers where there are more buildings? The town could be good." His nerves were up as he glanced back to the sight of the emerging voice. Immediately his adrenaline shot up as he saw that color. Red.

It was an Alpha. Not one that Six could remember off the top of his head, but an Alpha none the less. He watched him carefully, blinking to memories of the scuffle they had watched with the Alpha's during the fight of the large Death Pony. He blinked at his words. Bandages? What if he was lying? There was a nagging at him as he could recall one of the Alphas using bandages at one point. What was his number? Alpha Eight.

He moved away from Seven and stared at the stranger. It wasn't one of the Alphas that had gotten involved, in fact, Zeta Six barely remembered him, but he was certain he didn't have a weapon. He looked back at Seven. "I think I remember this guy using bandages before. I doubt he'd really come into a group of five looking for trouble."

Deep in his mind Zeta Six was mulling over his thoughts. If they took him in it would be a group of six, 4 people with offensive weapons and two with bandages. That prospect made him feel better. If they could bandage each other up then they would last longer. But there was the group to consider.

He looked at Seven. "What do you think?" He had his own thoughts but felt Seven to be their given leader. He respected him and his decisions.

"Town eh? Maybe we'll get lucky and find a stocked bar?" he muttered over to the medic next to him, keeping a careful eye on the shadowy figure as it walked closer. He felt the world fall away from him as he saw the number emblazoned on the suit.

"Eight."

Zeta sevens heart was thundering in his chest, Eight was back, they weren't abandoned, he wasn't abandoned. He could just jump for joy. But something was wrong as he took a closer look. And saw red. It was Alpha Eight, not Zeta eight. Not his superior. and his heart plummeted back into the depths of misery.

"I'm surprised your not traveling with the other Alphas, Eight. You say you want a traveling group?" Giving the man an unseen arched brow. "Given the circumstances of this group, I won't turn away someone who can tend to the wounded, two can work swifter than one." He gave a nod to the man in front of him. "I've got no problem with him coming along Six" he muttered before giving the other medic his full attention. "However, cross us and you better pray you can run fast." He can't turn down help, no matter where it comes from.

Survival doesn't know colors.

"Now, with that settled." He said with a sigh and putting away his weapon, he dusted the sand off his bottom and stretched his arms. "Lets get moving, the Town it is!" He barked out and pointed his drill to pierce the heavens toward their general intended direction.

(I shouldn't be tagging while watching TV, bad, bad me.)
