I have the same mouse as you o.O, and I was saying to not have the same interests as me =p.

I'm not sure about the fragile thing though, I've had mine for 2-3 years so far, and haven't needed to do anything other than change the feet and clean it. I also had water go in it once, and I was sure it was gone. I couldn't use it at all, so I just let it dry for a day, and it was perfectly fine the next o.o
