He watched the snake ascend her like it would a tree. He was not really unnerved by the idea of a snake crawling on him, but he felt a certain amount of respect for the both of them. The snake, for the skill it took to climb the smooth fur of a lioness, and Veri for enduring another creature using her as both climbing apparatus as well as resting place. Having smaller animals tag along with him wasn't really something he'd been amenable to personally. He just had little desire for the constant accompaniment or companionship of a lesser animal. Oh, he knew they could be a great help sometimes, and were perfectly able of carrying on intelligent conversation. But it seemed significant to him that all his visions were of the larger variety of species, and none of them prey animals. With the exception of elephants. Plenty big and not prey, he did not see them in his visions.

He nodded his wide head at her words. So it would be. "Two days from hence, we shall meet here to travel." He paused suddenly, shifting his weight subtley forward, as if about to suddenly take a step in a certain direction. Though startled, he wasn't alarmed. "It seems I have something to be doing in that time myself," he added thoughtfully, easing his weight back again. "I will be here at the appointed time. Safe travels, lady Veri," he said solemnly, giving her a deep bow. "Thank you once again for the offer of guiding me. The favor will not be forgotten."

With that, he once again leaned forward, more purposefully this time, and set off in the direction of his earlier leaning. The pull was undeniably there. Someone he had had a vision about was nearby. Whenever this happened, he rarely passed them by. He did not always tell them of his visions, but he did go check on them. Some inner softness, a deep caring nature, led him to be concerned about each and every one who showed up in his visions. How could he not, when in his heart he viewed some of their most despairing and sorrowful moments? So today, he would go find the one nearby and discover which vision they belonged to.

"Two days," she agreed, wondering if he'd be as grateful if he knew that he owed this debt of gratitude to a Goddess. Not everyone was thrilled when they found out. Mortals could give each other empty promises all day long, but they tended to take promises and debts to Gods and Goddesses way more seriously for some reason. Perhaps because it was unwise to anger a deity if you valued your hide. She was sure most if not all gods would harm a mortal if they were rubbed the wrong way. Well, perhaps not pacifism, but other than the ridiculously good domains everyone must have their limit... Different gods had different tolerance levels, but she was sure most did have a breaking point. And so mortals didn't mess with them, or at least not with her, if they could help it.

But she had agreed to help this mortal, not harm him, and she was equally bound to that promise. She walked slowly away from Mith'ando, and when she was sure no one could see her she teleported.
