TheXFactor Dont_Fear_the_Reefer TheXFactor Dont_Fear_the_Reefer Archon of Aegis It wasn't the best idea for HHHs first real match back to be the WM match. They gave them I think 3-4 weeks was it? To hype up a WM match. They could have put Taker up against someone like Sheamus and have HHH come back then, slap him around a little after the match and have a real feud. I was actually kinda hoping for Taker/Khali. I know Khali sucks, but Taker's had worse Wrestlemania matches than that, right? No... In my own opinion, Taker can not produce a shitty or mediocre match at Mania. If I would have to pick his worst Mania match, it would have to WrestleMania XX vs Kane. It was too short. That match was basically a squash match, only used to hype Undertaker's return to the darkside. Have you even SEEN his match against the Big Boss Man? Yeah... What's your point. Compared to Taker's match with Kane at WrestleMania XX, I'd pay double to see the Boss Man hung again. About Taker vs Giant Gonzales? xd

That match is pivotal in the awe, and mystery of why Taker's streak is so legendary. Think of it this way.
In that match Taker was knocked out by chloroform doused rag, which caused Gonzalez to be Disqualified. Making it the only WrestleMania match Taker was unable to actually win by his own strength, and will alone. At the time of the match not many thought it was gonna be number 3 in 19-0. Thus looking back on it now, the mystique, and wonder delivers a feeling that it's not just Taker that made the streak possible. but something more was helping the streak survive. It's kinda how Arn Anderson put it. You know the first few times it was luck, but after 19 years you'd think luck would of ran out.

I actually really like his match against BBM. My only complaint is that they struck it from the records completely due to the nature of the ending. ( For those that don't know, they have taker beat him, then hang him from the cage only to have "The Brood" raise the cage). Apparently too edgy for the folks at home.
