Gently grinned at that, honestly, nodding her head. She liked Castille a lot, on first impression, finding her exuberant and fun. Always good qualities in a person, as far as Gently was concerned. When people were dry or angry they were harder to deal with, though she was just as nice to them as she was anyone else. It was just a less rewarding endeavor than talking to someone happy.
"I would very much appreciate that! You can do like I do, and carry a notebook around in your back pocket all the time. Just don't do as I do in losing the pen more often than not... because then it's not useful.
She chuckled at that, if only because it was very, very true. She tried to keep the pen tucked on her ear, where it was now, but her glasses sometimes upset it and she had to put it in her pocket. Where it always seemed to fall out.
"Well, I don't know what they mean to do, but they still hurt people, at the end of the day. That's usually what we have to write about, and that's the sad part."
She shook her head, then sighed. She glanced at her watch, frowning.
"I think I should be heading home: I've got to write up this review and get it in before the morning for editing. It was really nice talking to you, though! I'd love to talk some more, some time."

The theater was practically empty now, and Castille looked around , realizing they had been standing there for some time now. She heard cheering outside, and realized the actors must be coming out into the hallway to greet their families. She flipped on her camera, turning a few knobs to adjust the shutter speed.
"Maybe I'll start doing that actually. I always thought photojournalism was an interesting career!" Her mind was already racing with ideas for stories she could shoot at the school paper's editor.
"Thanks for talking with me! And I mean it, if I can get a few questions at one of those super kids, I'll be sure to give you a holler!" She started to quickly walk toward the cheering and noise, then spun on her heel, saying with a laugh "Well, I would tell you if I knew who to contact! What's your name?"

Gently laughed, about to head off on her own way before she realized almost at the same time that they hadn't given each other any contact information. She giggled, reaching into her pocket and producing a card.
She always had one or two on her, just in case. This one was slightly bent and she tried to smooth it out before offering it to Castille.
"Gently Ponsonby! Now, don't get yourself hurt trying to talk to anyone on my account. Reporting can be dangerous if you go about it the wrong way. So keep that in mind, in question or in photos!" She smiled, wondering if Castille would check out some photojournalism information. It would be nice to think she had sparked an interest in the field for the girl, and Gently always liked that feeling of pride.
She chuckled, stole a quick hug goodbye, then let Castille go to take some pictures of the actors and their families. She didn't need to interview anyone for her review, and opted to head out and go home, so she could write while her comments were still fresh in her mind.

Castille smiled, and said "I won't try and get hurt. I love photography, but not THAT MUCH!" she laughed again, and took the card from Gently, putting it in her back pocket. Castille returned the hug, and walked away towards the crowds. She smiled. I made a new friend today! And her mind whirled with the possibility ideas for articles that sprang into her mind while talking to the woman. She would go talk to the editor tomorrow.
But today, there were pictures to be taken!
