It didn't take a genius to figure out why E-8's phone was ringing. Based on what E-12 had said he could guess what the message was, but still he checked his own phone, he eyes scanning over each word carefully.
A pendant. That is what they needed to guarantee survival, or was this some trick to heighten the danger and to guarantee more bloodshed
"I have to agree with 12 on this one. They have already thrown us in to this battle. Who is to say this is just another step to throw us in to panic and make sure we kill every last person off for this "guarantee"? Plus, you never know. By "your" they could mean what is left of the team by the time day 7 comes around. Either way, the best plan is the original plan. We just need to stick together and keep each other alive until the end."

So they all got the message too. Damn. E10 frowned a little and was suddenly very grateful for her mask covering her face, rubbing at the back of her neck as she put the phone away. She was about to make her suggestion again when suddenly she saw something moving through the sky toward the fields. "What is tha--" Before she could finish her question she was thrown on her feet by the shaking earth, grabbing onto a few corn stalks to try and catch herself. It didn't really help but it was the effort that mattered?
What the hell was that? It was quiet. Too quiet...
"I'm checking it out." She wasn't taking no for an answer. E10 took off through the corn, not caring that there was a path through each row of corn.

Following everyone else's lead, E-4 flipped open her own phone to read over the message. Guaranteed survival? There had to be a catch to that.
And indeed, E-12 had pointed out a very valid point. "A pendant would be nice, but if others find out that that person has a pendant, it'd be like painting a target on their head." Besides, she wasn't so much worried about day seven as she was about the other six days. As terrible as it was to think, if everyone decided to play this "game", then there would be a lot less competition once day seven rolled around.
She suddenly stumbled backwards when the earth began to shake beneath them. An earthquake?! No, there was something there--something had crashed in the cornfields. She stared, stunned and trying to take everything in, when E-10 suddenly took off. Standing up, E-4 ran after her without so much as a parting to the others.
Just what the hell was that?

E-8 nearly lost his balance when the ground beneath shook from the impact of the strange item, creature, whatever it was, falling from the sky. Was it friend, or foe? Most likely foe and that simple thought kept E8 in his place, that is until a certain someone chases after it.
"E10, where the hell do you think you're going!? GET YOUR a** BACK OVER HERE!"
She really was going to be the death of them all at some point, but that didn't matter. He couldn't allow her to run off by herself.
'Damn it'

[Entering Beta Scouting Party thread.]
ε IX had been meandering through the eerie cornfield for what seemed like ages when the buzzing at her waist struck again. She jumped, but managed to strangle the yelp in her throat. Heart beating loudly in her ears, she examined the latest message from whoever-it-was and considered it for a moment. "On day seven," she repeated aloud, weighing what options that... encouraged. Maybe it was better that she hadn't met up with the rest of the team just yet. Rearranging her few belongings, she tucked the small dagger into her belt, easily within reach.
It seemed that she didn't have much knowledge of tracking, since she hadn't the slightest idea what direction she had gone in or if she was following the others or not. She was just beginning to pinpoint the feeling as loneliness when she heard the truly disconcerting series of thuds and the roar of some sort of beast-thing. In the fog and amongst the corn, she was stranded, alone, and absolutely terrified. Clutching at the small dagger, she took off in what she hoped was the opposite direction from the monster and maybe, just maybe toward something friendlier.

Somewhere along the way BIII had the feeling that she was being watched and stilled slightly, turning about in a low circle to see if she could spot the disturbance - she thought for a moment that she saw some lashes of pink in the corn but they were moving away from her.
That was unnerving but she didn't have much time to contemplate it because her phone beeped again. A pendant? What was this like..some psycho treasure hunt? Snapping the phone closed she snapped it back to her belt and started making her way back towards the front of the tent when a large disturbance somewhere in the corn caught her attention. Maybe that was BVIII in trouble...in any case she decided to go and see what was happening.

The cell phone message wasn't good at all.
Before, it could have been the Thirteen of them. Not that E-13 was saying it would be, or that he wouldn't ditch them if he had to. Just that it could of been. Now it would have to be Thirteen of them and all five pendants.
He didn't say anything out loud, although he figured it would occur to the rest of his group sooner or later. Of course, the same rules still applied. If it was just the Thirteen of them and an island full of dead people, they'd have the pendants anyway. Probably. What the hell was a pendant? He wakes up in pink and his first mission is to find jewelry?
E-13 was glad the rest of his party started taking off. The blue guy headed the same way. Stabbing defenseless loners would have to be put off for another time. ...Where was everyone headed, anyway? Didn't that make him a defenseless loner? He hurried after his group.

E-7's hand went to his phone looking to see what the message was. The others had already said something about pendants. He frowned slightly behind the mask. It would guarantee survival did that mean it was included in the thirteen that survived? Or was it simply taunting them because there could only be so many left alive.
When the earth shook and everyone went running E-7 tried to follow only to get lost in a patch of thick fog. Trying to find his way he headed towards what he thought was the area the noise was coming from.... It'd take him a while to get there...

The vibration at her waist immediately caught E-1's attention, and she read it at the same time as the others. A pendant that would guarantee survival? Less than five of them, though. Would that mean there were four? There might even only be one! Still, if there was a chance she could get one, she had to take it!
As the very earth shuddered beneath them, E-1 had the feeling that whoever organized this sick game was giving them another message. Having something like this follow a text like that. It was going to be something terrifying. Still, pendant. E-1 hurried to follow her team-mates towards the sound.

There was a loud, terrifying noise, and everyone on the Pink team ran for it. E-12 stood there, stunned. That wasn’t quite what she’d meant when she’d hoped to find something in the corn field.
Not wanting to be left behind, E-12 ran quickly after the others.

There were noises echoing everywhere as ε IX continued to dash through the corn, unsure of whether she was hearing friends, foes, or monsters. She didn't need memories of monsters to help her conjure possible terrors in her mind and imagine glimpses of them through the deep fog and foliage. Or were the shapes and shadows completely imagined? Dagger in hand, she pressed onward, unwittingly stumbling onto the very epicenter of disaster and the formidable terror that lurked therein.
