As the whole family rushed in they bombarded Maeve with stories of thier day in the woods with Spark. As it turned out Lexy had climbed a tree again. Poor Spark almost had to call the firemen to get him down. Eventually Matrim had talked him down though. They were all talking at once when Spark Jr caught eye of the vile and began to reach in it's direction crying. Maeve smiled at the rememberance of it. They all wanted to know what it was. "Well it's a vile." Maeve answered mater of factly.

sparkofflame Trying to balance two children at once Spark glared at Maeve. "Here hold one of your children will you...so I can have a free hand to hit you. Now why would you buy something like that?" Spark responded to her sarcasim. He really did want her to take one of them though. He was exhousted from a day of babysitting, especially with the tree incident. And now both the boys had seen the vile and were trying to escape his arms to reach it. Especially the older Lexy, which is the one Spark new could.

Maeve just laughed at the poor man. Then she decided to grab her precious Lexy, he was her baby, the one she almost never had. She was also aware that if he got out then the vile would be gone for sure. "Well see that sunflower in there? Thats a gift. Inside is the essense of a Fae." Of course they all wanted to know what that meant. "A fae is a fairy. You see a scientist I meet, Dr. Shy, he is trying to help them regain thier former size. They use to be human size instead of the pixes we here about in stories. If the Fae can be reborn through this vile, well then it might get to its former size." Everyone was facinated with the vile. All of a sudden it began to glow. Everyone ohhed at the same time. It was beautiful.

That night was a hectic one. Especially trying to keep Lexy away from the glowing vile. It took the combined efforts of Maeve, Matrim, and Kutori. Maeve was faccinated by the glow. She decided she would sleep on the couch that night to be near it. She was like a child at christmas time. Staring at the glow of the vile and anticipating what gift she will soon recive. That reminded her, it really was time to put up some decerations. Tomorrow she thought as she drifted into dream land. She dreamed of the light swirling around her and taking a million differnt shapes. What a joyous gift Shy had given her.

Maeve woke up the early morning to a crash of glass. She shoot straight up ready to see Lexy with a broken vile. Grogely she looked over at the vile, she saw only shatters, and no Lexy. Surely he would have been crying had he broken it. She looked around as things slowly started to come into focus. In the corner between the window and the fireplace a small girl was curled up with a bid sunflower plushie. The girl was obviously very frightened. As Maeve got up to aproach her Kutori and Matrim came running in to see what had happened. The girl saw the large wolf and began to shake harder as tears started to pour from her eyes, her mouth droped in shock. Maeve ran to the girl stood between her and the others hoping to comfort her. "It's okay sweetie, you'll be alright we won't hurt you." Maeve said in a soothing voice as she crouched down to the girls level. The little girl simply looked up at her with large eye's shining. Maeve's wolf instincts could smell fear and confussion on the child. "You must have come out of the vile didn't you?" The little girl looked over the at the vile more confussion on her face. "It's alright sweetie. My name is Maeve. You'll be safe here. I promise to protect you. Do you want to stay with me?" The girl just looked back up at her again. This time a somwhat longing look in her eyes. Maeve reached toward the girl and put her arms around her. The girl quickly graped onto Maeve, as if holding Maeve would make all the bad things go away. Maeve picked up the child and carried her to the couch. The child was shivering badly. Maeve graped a blanket and wraped her up and held her tight. "Kutori could you go grap another blanket from the bed?" Maeve asked. The wolf quickly ran off. Matrim slowly walked up to the couch. He rubbed his head against the childs feet. She looked down at him, and smiled slightly. Then the wolf came running back into the room. He jumped up putting his paws on the couch with a blanket in his teeth. The little girl began to scream but found very little voice it came out as whines. She cried some more, graping Maeve and hiding her face in the woman's arms. "Kutori you better leave for now, we'll have to show her you're friendly in the day time okay." The wolf walked out of the room with his head hung low. The child stoped crying. Maeve held her tight. Maeve looked out the window and saw it was snowing. Large puffy flakes were drifting down in the dark light of the slowly coming dawn. Then she looked at the girl and pointed the snow out to her. Th girls lips formed a smile and a gigle escaped her lips. Maeve looked at the little girl again. "Do you have a name?"The girl looked at her confused, not understanding. Maeve observed the girl, her dark skin and hair contrasted to the bright yellow dress she was wearing, but even that paled in comperission to to the brightness of her smile. "How Does Arora sound, would you like that name?" The little girl nodded her head in joy.

After drifting to sleep with the girl in her arms Maeve awoke to her tugging at Maeve's shirt. "Ehh Ehh" Arora pointed to her mouth. She was obviously hungry. Maeve got up, "Your hungry huh? Well follow me." She got up and walked toward the kitchen. Arora followed running quickly to catch up and grab Maeve's arm. Maeve looked down at the girl, her heart melting. In the kitchen Maeve helped the girl into a chair at the big table. Then she went to the cabnets and poured the girl some cereal in a big blue bowl. She grabed a spoon and set it in front of the girl, taking a seat next to her. "Here you go sweetie, sorry all we have is cherieOs. Well I have to go get the babies, I'll be right back, are you ready to meet your new brothers?" Maeve asked the girl as she got up to get the boys.
When Maeve left the room as Arora watched her longingly. She looked at the cereal, poking at it a few times. Then she picked a peice up between her fingers. She lifted it up looking at it all around. Then she held it up to her eye looking through it. She looked out the window the sun shining through it. She smiled at the pretty sight. Then she licked the cherieO, thinking about it's taste. Then in one quick moment she poped it in her mouth and chewed. She then picked up the spoon, a little akwardly yet some how knowing how to do it, she scoped some milk and cereal up and began to eat.

Maeve smiled as she came back into the room seeing Arora enjoy her food. In either arm she carried a little boy. The larger of the two had a fluffy squirel tail and ears, the other had a thin tail and little blue wings. Arora watched in awe as Maeve put the little boys in the chairs. "These are your new brothers, Lexy and SJ. Say hi to your new sister boys, her name is Arora. Can you say Arora Lexy? Arora." Maeve introduced the children. "Aarraaraa" Lexy smiled. SJ just laughed at his brother speaking. "Brother?" Arora tilted her head. She spoke perfectly yet seemed slightly un familiar with the word. It was like she new it but didn't. Maeve was excited to see that Arora could talk, and proud of Lexy's attempt of the word. "So you do talk. Well did you enjoy your meal?" Maeve asked as she heated up some bottles for the babies. "CheerieO's...yes." Arora asnwered slowly as she thought about what the words should be. "Well I'm glad. Today we are going to get a christmass tree. Would you like that?""Christmas?" Arora looked confused. "Yes. Today is the solcitice, or the longest night of the year, and that is when I go to get my Christmass tree. Christmass is a celebration where people give gifts. It's much more complicated but you needn't worry about that now." She patted the girl on the head as she walked back over to the boys giving them thier bottles and setting some cheerieOs out on thier chair tops for them to eat. As usual they did more playing then eating.

About an hour later Maeve was busy bundling the boys up. She gave Arora a sweater to wear then put her blue cloak around the girl, then a hat, then scarf, then gloves. Maeve was not use to older children so she was nervous about how bundled up Arora should be. All they needed now was for Spark to show, they couldn't go get a tree without him.

sparkofflame Spark came strolling in the door forgeting to take off his boots. "Where are my boys???" He shouted out for them to hear. It was snowing lightly still but steady. He was excited to help them pick out thier first tree. He loved those little boys. He stoped to think about it. It seemed this would be all of their first Christmases. And it would be their first Christmas together. He was so excited about his gift for Maeve, he wondered how she would feel about it. He strolled in by the gang then stoped dead seeing a little girl. "Who do we have here? An angel came down early for Christmas?" He smiled at the girl showing his loving smile.

Maeve hurried the children out of the kitchen. Thier first day of school and they were already running late. "Arora get your coat on! Galad help SJ with that! Hurry guys!" Maeve ran around looking for her car keys almost triping on Canel. "Kutori! Can you take Canel for a walk! I have to go! Are you kids ready!"
Arora laughed at SJ as he tied his shoes wrong over and over. Galad smiled sweetly as he helped the boy. Galad was such a nice boy. Arora wondered if all the boys in her new class would be so nice. All of a sudden she felt a poke at her side. As she jumped she truned and saw Lexy. She scowld at him, hopping at least the kids in her new class would be better behaved than him.
"Okay we're good to go mom! Arora here's your bag." Galad called out then handed Arora her new blue backback full of supplies. Arora was starting to get nervous, but Galad's smile helped keep her at ease. "Ah thank you Galad."
On their way to the car Arora frowned at the ground, with spots of snow still coating it. She looked at some of the grass trying to poke through. As she looked at it is started to grow greener. She smiled. She didn't understand yet but sometimes she was able to think things greener, and she liked that.
In the truck ride Arora fiddled with a yellow feather from her bird Anora. Maeve lectured the children on what would be happening and how to behave properlly. In the furture they would take a bus, but since they were starting late in the year Maeve was driving them for their first day.
When they got to school they went to the principles office. He greeted them and walked them around the school. Then they took Galad to the fith grade class room and droped him off. He walked in with a smile, not seeming to be nervous at all. Then they went to the first grade room and droped off the boys. Arora envied them for having each other as they pushed each other through the door. Finally they were standing at the door of the third grade class room. Arora was so nervous she couldn't contain herslef. She fiddled her feather in her hands...she almost thought for a moment that the feather was floathing. She dismissed it as Maeve urged her to enter the room.
Inside the classroom Arora had to stand up and introduce herself. Looking around there seemed to be many different types of students in her class. The teacher seemed nice too. Arora took her seat. She was very quiet at first but then the teacher started asking questions. She knew the answers to them all. Slowly Arora started to raise her hand and answer the questions. The other kids looked on with awe at the intelgance of the new student.
At break some of the girls even came up and introduced themselves to Arora. She remained quiet but liked them talking to her. She even drew a picture for one of the girls as they showed Arora around the campus.
At the end of the day some of Arora's unease had gone away, and she even knew some of the kids in her class. When she got home she pulled Maeve aside and showed her a drawing of Arora with the girls she had meet and told Maeve about her day. She was excited for her next day of school.

Arora came through the door smiling behind Galad and Maeve. She had such a wonderful time at Troy's party. And she had meet the most amazing boy ever. Galad didn't seem to like him much though. As Arora got walked through the hallway SJ and Lexy came running in with lots of questions of the party and the new baby. Arora smiled at them, telling them it was enjoyable and scurried up to her room. As the boys went on to question what was up here Galad grumbled about a boy and stomped off. Maeve just laughed, holding baby Helen. The boys proceded swoon over the new baby. Upstairs Arora locked her room door. She just couldn't stop smiling. She went to her desk and pulled out her jurnal that Maeve had baught her. She attemted writing a few times but couldn't figure out what to say. Then she looked around her room. Anora started to sing. Arora went up to the cage and let her little yellow bird fly freely in the room. As Arora walked back to her desk the little desk rose started to bloom. She sat down and wrote in her jurnal. Arora's Jurnal Today I meet another fae. His name is Aurion, and he's a prince. I mean a real Prince. Sounds funny I know, but it's true. And he is so chivalaris. We were at a party. I think Galad is jealous of him. But how could he not be. Aurion is brave and noble, and Galad is just...well Galad. Aurion is much more powerful than me. He can use spells even. His sister Alanna said he learned them from their gaurdian...and I'm stuck in a house of wolves! I wonder if I'll ever really be able to do anything. I also have a new sister. Her name is Helen. She is very cute, and seems sweet, but I have a weird feeling about her. I feel like she might ruin everything. It seems like the boys just grew up and stoped getting into everything and now theres a new baby...just perfect. Maybe I could run away and be Aurion's princes someday...well every girl needs a dream. Maybe I'm just jealous. Being the only girl, besides Mom that is, and now I don't think I have anything special.

Arora was growing restless in the house. Spring was finally here and the young girl wanted to be out enjoying the lovely weather. Mostly she wanted escape the crowed house full of boys she had found herself living in. The young girl graped her back and gathered a few things into it; jurnal, sketchbook and pencils. Then she went to Anora's cage. A soft melody came from Arora's mouth as she whistled a tone to the yellow bird. Arora did not know where she had learned the tone, no one else recognized it, but to Anora and other animals it seemed very enchanting. Arora had convinced herself it was a song from her heart in the true artistic form which the girl prized so much. Anora flew on to Arora's arm and sat there. The pair then proceded down to the kitchen.
As Arora passed the kitchen the boy's were playing video games so she would be able to sneak away from them with ease. She went to the fridge and through a water bottle in her bag, then some grahm crackers from the cuboard. On her way out the door she yelled back to the boys, "Tell mom I'm out for a walk, I'll be back before dark." She heard acknowledging grunts from the boys then sliped out the door.
As soon as they were outside the small yellow bird began to fly around her. Arora laughed at it's beauty. Everything was starting to become so green and alive, this left her with a feeling of peace in her soul. The girl and the bird walked through a wooded area behind the house until they came to a large open feild. It was rolling plains for miles, with only the woods in the background to break the view. The grass was tall and could almost burry the small girl to her shoulders. Yet on the hills when she sat down she could see the rolling landscape an the life all around her.
