"I've known her a while..fell out of touch when we got into school. She's going to be a -great- addition, I just know it. I'm glad you met her!" Demy was proud of Fluorite, -quite- proud. He wished he could spend more time thoroughly training her, but the missing officers needed him. Once that was solved, he would be sure to spend a lot more time with his team.
The map only contained minor notes. A small mark for where he had found the sash and not much else. Scheelite wasn't that skilled with his notes, minus the few times he remembered to hand in senshi reports for the database. He -was- good at coloring in areas though, so the map would be accurate as to his travels.
"We can make copies of it or something, and give others the map...or maybe if everyone picks a path and searches it then reports back in at the end of a shift we can add it to the main map! And then we'll all know what's been searched and what hasn't...instead of everyone running around unorganized?"
Demy babbled on a moment, but Zink's compliment hit his ears and the boy lit up again.
"Don't worry about it! I'm fine.." Okay, he was still coughing a bit, but he'd be fine! "And thank you! That means a lot, a whole lot. I do have to ask though...I wasn't -really- drunk, was I?"
Despite the question he was all smiles. Nah, there's no way he had spent time drinking when he was't even spending time -sleeping-. He didn't look mad though!

"I think handing out copies would be a very good idea... if you have any area you even REMOTELY suspect could be their head quarters, somewhere quiet... somewhere LARGE I suspect... then I'd like you to send only captains and request Generals where you can."
He shook his head thinking of Lina's words regarding finding the senshi who stabbed her, they were still more than applicable here.
"I don't want to feed them anyone else..."
He paused arching an Eyebrow at Schee's new question. "Calling me a Liar?" He countered.

"You'll have to lie better, is all. The only thing I've been drinking is Rockstar to keep me going. Faaaaar more likely I had a sugar crash than a drunken night of searching. Good try though Zink!"
Demy went silent a moment, studying his map to try and find a new place to search.
"I...think I might go look over here tonight." He indicated a fairly large area his search hadn't touched yet. "But...I really really -really- don't want to search over here." The 'over here' was an area indicated on the map that most knew well. To those who never watched the news it was simply an abandoned area of the city. To those who knew better, it was the area that the coma epidemic had started in.
"I know it's safe now but...still. That whole experience was not cool, I don't want to be near it again." He gave a shudder at the thought, before moving to fold up his map.

"Drunk... excessively sleep deprived... same thing." Zink replied flippantly and then reached over to tap the map where Dem didn't want to search. "I'll look there... I'll start tonight. You keep in touch for anything you find alright?" He nodded slightly as though to confirm when arguably the conversation hadn't been finished yet.
"Keep in touch with the crystal alright? I'll be keeping an ear on mine, I don't want to be trying to find this place and rescue you or vise versa alright?" He said waving a hand.

"Totally not the same thing!"
Deeming it safe to power back up (the smoke would have to be off his clothes now, yes?), Demy did just that and seconds later it was Captain Scheelite grinning down at Zink instead of his old roommate.
"Gotcha." He pulled aside one of the ears of his headphones, showing the crystal that was neatly tucked inside it. "Just call me if you need me, you know I'll answer! And I promise I'll do the same if I need you -or- if I find anything. ...And I also promise not to use it just to talk to you all night. Kay?"

"I'll believe it when I hear it." He replied with a tight smile. Dem was a chatterbox and the crystal had to be better than cell-phones.
He paused with an amused look. "So... should I ask for a review of the new smoke?" He flashed a cheshire grin and rubbed at his quickly bruising shoulder. Someone had told him that if you rubbed hard at a bruise it wouldn't be as bad, he had YET to find that was anything more than a painful suggestion.

"Aww cmon man I mean it! Not going to use it as a toy...tonight." He cleared his throat, glancing away with a wry smirk.
"That smoke? Before I totally didn't mind running around in your smoke bombs for sneak attacks. But uh now? No thanks man... Sorry I uh...kinda hurled but I had to I swear I swallowed a bunch of it... It burns, it was all over my clothes which just ended up more in my eyes... It's not pleasant, but that makes it awesome against the Senshi!"

Zink nodded thoughtful."It didn't work as well as I hoped in Elision, but perhaps that was because we were in an... 'altered state'."
He shrugged and then added. "Yes it... irritates soft tissues, I haven't looked up counter measures to it, but it will at least give that b***h Ares a run for her money, I loathe her smoke..." His lip curled in irritation that she would use anything even of the same base as his own attacks.
Never mind that he hated that twitchy paranoid feeling that made him unsure if someone was or was not sneaking up on him.

"Trust me, it works. It works great, but in an awful sort of way. Sadly I think I'm almost an expert in smoke attacks! I've been in all of yours, in Lyra's, that smoke cloud in Elysion...and Charonite's face."
That was a smoke cloud all it's own.
Speaking of.
Scheelite removed a pack of cigarettes from a pocket. He had liberated them off of some person he had energy drained a while back, and for a moment he simply waved them at Zink with a smirk on his face. Really? Was he really going to wave that around in the other's face knowing how much he hated it?
But before Zink could scold him, the blonde dropped them to the ground and crushed them under a heel of his high sneakers.
"For you."
Also for the fact he was getting sick of smoke clouds...but he wouldn't say that.

Zink couldn't have looked more pleased if you'd just handed him Ares starseed on a silver platter...well maybe he could have, he did seem to have a rather limitless capacity for 'smug'.
"Tired of smoke?" He grinned wide through the fabric that covered his face, all innocent tones and smug mingled into the most interesting combination.
"...I feel a little less bad about tagging you with that smoke bomb... Kind of..." He admitted as he dusted off the edge of his coat.

"Tired of smoke." The captain confirmed with a nod of his head. "...Besides, you didn't like me smoking...I want to stop for you." He would, after all, do anything for Zink if asked.
Except listen 100% of the time. He just had to challenge Zink occasionally, and some part of him thought maybe, just maybe, the short general liked that. Eh, or maybe he was just crazy. Who knew!
