Kotaru knew this would probably happen. Which is why he mentioned about the Haiku as he was running at high speed for Ryoko to truly understand what it means. By this happening, the Kotaru's managed to block the overhead strikes from the two Ryoko's, but what he didn't noticed that Kotaru did some technique that which appeared to be hidden from his senses. The two Kotaru's that fell in the icy abyss were really afterimages as they soon immediately disappeared which they reached below ground. Meanwhile, it stood quiet as everything stopped suddenly and was a ghost town from someone's point of view. The wind blew slightly, as out came was the sound of a whistle. It was was really calm sound as out of the sense of sight was a figure on top of a tree blowing onto a flute. It was the real Kotaru calm and balanced about anything. If there was a contest for most balanced shinigami, Kotaru would be one of the top. "I'm surprised of your skills Ryoko....but....I've haven't folded out all of my cards yet....for I still got a deck of 52 to go..." He said to him. He put his old flute away as he was ready to go. If he could take on his younger brother who was the other heir of the Mishino clan, then he can handle Ryoko too with a equal set of cards on his side.

Ryoko taunted with a sigh as he lowered his blade into the icy floor. "You wouldn't be able to take me on without these restraints but I see you relied on your speed to try and outsmart me... Clever but that would work more on someone who has little experience with shunpo." Ryoko explained while walking over to the frost covered tree that had Kotaru on it he poked his blade alittle towards as a way of feeling for soft spots. "I haven't seen any swordplay yet. So entertain me with that." Ryoko said as a of a sudden in a blink of an eye he slashed at the tree's trunk which caused it to get cut in half. It would cause Kotaru to fall down back on the icey ground of the frozen land only to be greeted by Ryoko's attempt for an attack or if Ryoko will just dissapear in shunpo again as a result of strategizing. Either way Kotaru had two choices with little time which made it a great part of this training test. Ryoko was fully aware that Kotaru was able to use Utsusemi as fluently as he could but he forgot something about the difference now was now that he knew he was Ryoko was expecting more of that in this fight which ment his awareness can be pushed alittle to knowing which one was the fake and which one was the real one.

Kotaru was as calm as ever not even lifting up a inch of his sword as he didn't try to reach it. Sensing easily that Ryoko was obliviously going to try and provoke him to attack by the slightest bit of danger he knew what he was trying to do. Knowing that they're both shinigami, he knew Ryoko wouldn't have the guts to truly kill him unless this was truly serious as life or death, so he just took a deep breath as he jumped off the fallen tree and landed softly on the icy ground. He brushed himself off slightly as he dashed instantly toward Ryoko with his sword quickly out, and clashed against his blade but soon leaped back quickly. "I do not wish to fight you Ryoko in a place like this..but..so be it..if I use my defense.." He said as he lifted his sword on his left hand as he swiftly and constantly swiped his sword across the ground making a slight screech sound in a calm rhythm
beat. As he was doing that, his sword was making sparks on the ground as the tip of it started to turn red/yellowish like it was being hot. Soon a sizzle came from it slightly that could be heard in Kotaru's ear as he was ready. So he pulled out his other sword by without using his right hand, he placed it in middle of his left arm where his elbow is located at. "Feel the sting of my blade..." He said as his eyes changed. They weren't the regular eyes Kotaru once had. No...it was dark...cold...and fearless in it, like something else took over his place in mind.Fighting / Zanpakuto Theme: Unsheath

but imagining it makes it so...You already lost.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ryoko gave out a sigh as he lifted his left hand grabbing for the white patch that was over his eyes. He knew now that he had to show him that Ryoko wasn't playing around even though this was a training test he needed shinigamis to actually experience fear of a powerful threat and Ryoko was the deadliest of the gotei 13 which says alot and even as a captain it makes him threatening but what people haven't seen was he holds back but now Ryoko was taking off the patch that was slowing him down not only his vision but aswell as his own power. As he took off the patch he immediatly dissapeared in shunpo as markings began to appear around Kotaru on the ground as like sword slices. A sudden change in the wind began as Ryoko in an instant appeared infront fo Kotaru with his movements faster than before. Began to block Kotaru's zanpakuto on his left hand with his zanpakuto and went for a grapple move at Kotaru's right hand that was holding the second one by attempting to grab his right wrist and put pressure on the side of the wrist that was under his palm to weaken his grip one of his zanpakuto's while he was focused on slashing at the ground and with that much speed to it Ryoko would then pull Kotaru's arms back towards him and try to extend a kick at Kotaru's upper chest where his rib's are if his tactics work. If they did Kotaru would be shot a few feet in the opposite direction with one zanpakuto short. Ryoko's appearenc has slightly altered with his eyes glowing with a menacing crimson red aswell as his hair was flailing upwards instead of downwards. He also knew that having two zanpakuto's had a stronger offensive structure but it had a weaker defensive structure which gave Ryoko a reason to attack he was using his free hand as a tool for his combat strategies rather than using both hands or having a second zanpakuto.

((Just to make it clear for you to understand.. O.o your actions of Ryoko makes me confused of what happened..and also Kotaru's swords are both on his left...you should know he lost his right arm a while back.. lol)) _____________________________________________________________

Kotaru was about to really let go of his temper but soon as he was about to launch at him, he froze at that moment as his eyes were first shown as they weren't blue..they were white for some reason. They widened up by the intensity of Ryoko's speed as this seemed that this is going to be fun for him to enjoy. He looked quickly seeing that his left hand was grappled on seeing as BOTH his sword were on his left arm as he seemed to held on to them no matter what he went through. But seeing Ryoko tried to grabbed his right side thinking there was an arm there, there wasn't as that was just an empty sleeve. He started to move forward when Ryoko pulled him towards but was then launched back by a kick in the chest as he made a slight painful groan and fell on his back rolling backward into the ground. He soon stood there for a while like he was knocked out and was easily defeated like that, but..something else....something else was there in his mind he didn't want to show. He soon started to slowly move his left hand with his zanpakuto's dropped on the side as he started to laugh crazily. "Subete no anata ga eta koto ka!" He said as he slowly crawls on his feet towards a bush as he pulled out something he dropped earlier. "Watashi o hyōji suru ni wa, shinigami o motte iru ka" He said to him as he put it on his face which was really his mask he dropped earlier. He soon started to grin behind the mask even more as he picked up his zanpakuto up but one one of them. "Anata wa dono kurai no haya misete kure!" He said as he did a shunpo but this one was far more different than his regular one. This style of his shunpo was far more wild, and insane like a wild animal set loose in a jungle from it's cage. Ready to feast on whatever comes it's way. He came behind Ryoko as he laughed crazily as he leaped high in the air using shunpo to get a good air between. He soon landed on the ground as the ice cracked slightly with an insane evil smile on his face behind the mask.Fighting / Zanpakuto Theme: Unsheath

but imagining it makes it so...You already lost....  "What no arm...?" Ryoko thought as he looked on at Kotaru with an odd look. He saw as Kotaru began to speak an odd language as well as Kotaru giving off his laugh. It felt as if he was being possesed by another being. Ryoko began to arch an eyebrow as Kotaruo shunpoed behind him and jumped backwards again in the air. "Why is it that low ranked shinigami always go crazy when they fight me?' Ryoko said to himself as his eyes began to glow even more. Ryoko could already feel the change in the atmosphere about Kotaru's movements sadly it was only a wild form and not under control which was a problem for Kotaru's case. It may have been more wilder but Ryoko's movement's were still faster than his. He turned around and let his zanpakuto dig in the snow and slashed it across the air in a repeated fashion creating a gust of ice fog covering the front of him causing Kotaru to not to see him from his distance. Once the fog cleared Ryoko vanished again and all of a sudden the wind in the area around Kotaru began to circle around him and in that same moment several afterimages of Ryoko began to apear around him with Ryoko hiding within his afterimage copies. They all aswell began to come at Kotaru from every direction with a chance to try and slash him but the thing was only one was able to land a hit since all the others were afterimages and that the real Ryoko. He was planning to make a pattern for each side when he had a chance to attack while the afterimages made the distraction then he would change it up each slash and attack at the opposite side of Kotaru. He planned on starting his first attack at Kotaru's backside with a slash because Kotaru would think Ryoko would attack him from his front side.

(Yeah I have a habit of reading to fast. As for Ryoko I make it sound more broud ot lengthen my posting by descirbing and putting in a lot of detail it is confusing sometimes.)

Kotaru gave a slight devilish looking on his face behind his mask. As he was running in a shunpo, he immediately stopped in one position where a icy fog came up because of Ryoko trying to not make him see but that was completely useless for him to cover his sight, for Kotaru in his bipolar appearance he doesn't require sight to notice his enemy is at for he could tell by the difference in air, sound, smell, and position. "23* East...45* South..." He said the coordinate of where Ryoko is under his mask as he made a low growling sound under his mask as he soon immediately looked seeing several appearances of Ryoko coming out surrounding him as he wasn't fear of anything. He made a slight bark sound with a grin on his face as he noticed they were about to come at him. When that happened, he noticed a slight different which appeared to be behind him and in front of him. One was slower than the other while the one behind him seemed to be faster. He soon turned behind him turning to the Ryoko he appeared to see which was the real one as he jumped very high in the air using the speed of shunpo and the strength in Hakuda to mix them together to bring him high air time for jumping. But what he soon noticed that he didn't appeared to be air walking just lowering himself in the air by how high he is, as he soon landed on the ground away from Ryoko as he roared and growling a little and went into a four legged stance like a wolf or fox as he was prepare to attack. He soon did a Senka as he appeared behind the real Ryoko targeting his backside as another one Kotaru appeared in front of him like he did an Utsusemi but was looked like a shunpo to Ryoko's sight with a roar like a beast as he had the personality now of his Zanpakuto spirit which was a three headed dog for his spirit. The Kotaru on front soon jumped immediately at Ryoko and leapfrogged over his shoulder running at a very fast rate of speed on his hand(1) and feet.(2)Bipolar Theme: The "GOD" Fist

but imagining it makes it so...You already lost.... Ryoko stopped for the moment as he saw Kotaru dodge his first attack. Sadley that wasn't Kotaru fighting anymore so Ryoko had much more of a reason to kill him even though he thinks that Ryoko won't. He noticed as he saw that Kotaru appeared from both sides Ryoko realized it was the same tactic used before but Kotaru forgotten one thing Ryoko's spiritual awarnes making it clear the one infront of him was just an after image while the real one was behind but to make things safe. Ryoko changed his body position and sidestep to the Kotaru's right side that was in front of him but in a splitsecond right after he dodged Kotaru, Ryoko swung his sword backhanded like with the edge at the back of the Kotaru at a fast speed hardly visible and dissapeared and reapeared infront of the real Kotaru that was originally at his back side. He swiftly swung his zanpakuto at Kotaru's holding the two that were in Kotaru's left hand away from him as Ryoko quickly extended his left arm at Kotaruo to try and clench his neck at the same time. Ryoko was to the point of killing this one now it was offical that Kotaru failed the exam.

Kotaru had a feeling that would happen, but soon as that happened he sensed an attack coming but soon made a light growl seeing his swords on his left arm were knocked away as he was instead about to claw him, but before he could even extend his arms out in a clawing position, his neck was grabbed like that by Ryoko's left hand as he was struggling to get out of his grip but seemed that he couldn't for some reason. As he was struggling more like an animal in a cage, he started to realize as he noticed a change in his personality as he knew that Ryoko was at a point of he was going to kill him. As he realized, for him being the Older brother of the Mishino clan he acted sorta weak at this time for he didn't knew what to do. He knew that if he wanted to survive he would have to get a grip of things. If he give them a chance, he won't get a chance and he can be killed like that. He knew about this as he thought about it. As he regained his sensed, his mask started to crack a little as it slowly torn itself apart as piees just crumbles onto the ground. He clenched his teeth as he took a tight grip on Ryoko's wrist. He had an angry look at him knowing this would might happen, he didn't want to die like this but knew he ain't going to chicken out of death. "If.....you kill me...that would be the worst thing you can do....for....if that happens... vengeance of my clan will kill and kill you...or even..my brother..shall get his revenge.." He said to him. This would indeed be a very important warning at Ryoko if he truly harms him or even kills him. He closed his eyes thinking to himself. Is this what Judgement does to me? Why should I die? but imagining it makes it so...You already lost.... Ryoko gave an emotionless glare as he saw that Kotaru returned to a normal state but Ryoko was still worried about that uncontrolable part of him. "You chose the path of a monster let alone failed this test for that the only way to regain your honor is through death... For that is the greatest honor a warrior could ever be given. Vengfull family members don't scare me..." Ryoko said as he went for a stab at Kotaru's chest. The last thing he wanted was more shinigami loosing their grip on sanity. But Kotaru should see this as a way of honor than a failure for that was the way of the warrior. Ryoko had no fear of those who would come after him for it was Kotaru's own actions for excepting it this challenge. Ryoko moved and whispered in his ear. "You fought well may your legend live on...." Ryoko said. Ryoko wasn't the person that would be mercifull to his opponents including his own. Since Kotaru lost his sanity and used a force that risked his life it was only natural for Ryoko to kill him. It was like putting down a rabid dog for Ryoko has murdered thousands amoung armies and forces like the espada this was an honorable battle but in the end it was over when it started.

As his fate was sealed, Kotaru had a feeling that this won't be over real soon. His eyes widened up by a blade impaling through his chest as he heard what Ryoko said to him. He felt his heart started to act differently as he could feel a pain in it like he was in shock. "I'll...be......back.....for..........YOU......" He said as he wanted to close his eyes but he just couldn't fight the urge as he was coughing up blood slightly. He thought about it as he was hoping he could fight against Garuda in the hope of a future, but had a feeling that this is his future for it was over for him. ~How.....point....less.....of this..~ He said in his thoughts as he started to fade away. ~Point.........less......~ He thought as his soul left his body as he was now long gone, as he body just fell to the ground motionless at all. But on Kotaru's body, was a tear rolling down his cheek with a smile on his face. Some of his reiatsu glowed white around his body as he soon slowly faded away for whatever is left in his body while the infection still inside slowly freezing away."Alt" Sad Theme: Ashes of Dreams](( crying listening to this song and seeing my 2nd favorite character he die just makes me want to cry..))

(Now I feel abit sorry for doing that... But yeah it got pretty cliche of me letting my opponents live after they go insane on me and try to kill me. Because that happened more than 3 times before.)
