He nodded and smiled under his gasmask "If only more young boys had the balls to say so." he said laughing and then moved a registration form towards her and pen as well. "Well then sign on the dotted line miss." he said "And our Cadet sergeant will take you to get your uniforms." he said after a moment smiling some more.

With her head tilted to the side, Maiara watched the girl who was also signing up. She supposed it was good to know she wouldn't be the only new one around here. She glanced over the girl's, Alex's, wings, quite curious. Could she fly? Alex smelled of an otherwordly spirit mixed with something else. Maybe she was what many humans called 'angels'. Maiara watched the two interact, not too sure if she was supposed to be doing anything.

Alex felt like she was being watched. She looked up and saw agirl checker her out, then Alex said "Hello." Then she stuck out her hand.

It took Maiara a few moments to remember the normal first greeting between people as she stared at Alex's hand. She finally took it, shaking it firmly, "Well met. I am Maiara." When she released from the handshake, she looked back at the Drill sergeant and his strange mask not sure what was supposed to happen next.

Alex smiled and said her name while she turned around and looked at the Sargent too. Then after a while she clapped her hands together and rubbed then together and asked "Well what do we do next?"

Smiling he looked at the girls and cleared his throat "What we do next you ask? well it's simple, I want to know what I'm working with Now attack me." he said then held up his left hand with a finger raised. "But like humans hand to hand combat Now come at me CADETS!." he said raising his voice at the last moment though in truth he was quite calm and relaxed just as he needed to be in all situations.

Alex looked back at the girl then at the teacher. She grinned and asked "Well I dont want to hurt you." Alex said cracking her nuckles.

Cracking his neck nonchalantly Devlin just chuckled looking at her. "Oh hey now, you looking at an ex spetnaz operative, you think you can hurt a pitbull of the kremlin?" he asked smirking some. he chuckled and just stood there relaxed as he was it was key to be relaxed before during and after the confrontation.

Alex grinned "Ok" is all she said. then she stretched and ran as fast as lightening and kicked his chest with the help of the wings to keep her level.

Smirking Devlin grabbed er foot and simply used her own momentum to help move himself to the side and watched as she fell into the dirt. "C'mon now, I've had better fights in kindergarten." he said chuckling all the while.

Alex laughed and used her feet to trip him and then she pinned him to the floor. "I know that was what I was going for!" Then she pulled him back up.

Being knocked down so easily didn't particularly phase Devlin but the way she came at him at first ticked him off. When she picked him back up he took the opportunity and grabbed her by one of her wing joints and began to twist. and dragg he down to the ground. "And I thought I said like a human meaning this perty things ought to be clipped missy." he said grinning after all he was a man who would win by underhanded means knowing full well that there is no such thing as a fair fight.

Maiara had hesitated before following his command. She had only been taught to attack offensively as a fox in hand-to-hand combat or claw and teeth. She had her bow, but she left it with her clothing and it was not allowed in this fight. In this form, she fought more defensively and it wasn't like Maiara could use what she knew as the fox. "Hmmm..." Well, there was no harm in trying and if she lured him into attacking her, she would know what to do then. Approaching with caution in her strange new uniform, she swung a punch aimed at his hip while he was holding Alex's wing.

As Alex saw the other girl punch him she quickley twisted out ofhis grip. Then as he was still holding her wing she smacked his hand off and said "Sorry I'm use to using them. And hey do not clip them I need them." Then she fixed her wing from being twisted. "Dang that is some grip you got here. My wing is numb." the angel said shaking it off and watching what the other girl was doing and thought what other moves she could fake him out with.
