"Food?" Mitsu asked curiously. She wasn't really hungry but she could probably managed to eat something. It would only postpone her searching for a little bit after all. "Sure, do you have something in mind?"

"Alright, that sounds fine." She had some cash on her, at least enough for a meal. With one last glance to Shun's side of the room Mitsu headed for the door waiting only long enough for Blade to get ready to go.

As they left the dorms and made their way down the path toward town, it was obvious Mitsu's attention was divided. While she wanted to get to know Blade and have a new friend she was still trying to pick up on anything that would help her locate Shun.

"So what have you and Riyo been up to?" Mitsu asked curiously as they finally reached the first sidewalk. "You seem to hang out with her and Klyde a lot. Do you all get along really well?" It had been a naive hope that Desmond and Shun would have gotten along. If...When Shun came back she would be sure never to try that again.

"I think Klyde just tolerates me too. He's not really friendly with anyone other than Riyo. He just likes to tease me which only seems to make her mad." At least they tolerated each other, it didn't seem Shun nor Desmond wanted to try even that. They only just behaved while she was around.

Though, when asked how she and Shun became friends Mitsu paused and had to think about it. It seemed so long ago at this point, so much stuff had happened. "It's hard to say. The incident at the pool seems to be when he started being friendly with me. He still never spoke much even then." She smiled a bit thinking about back in the fall how standoffish Shun had been. It was amazing how different he had started acting around her....especially after Halloween.

"He's really not....the angry guy he pretends to be. He may be able to fight," and kill, "and he's rather blunt about the things he says," to the point anyone would wish he would just learn to lie. "But he can be really kind. He was always really sweet to me. Though he probably doesn't appreciate me saying it....he never did seem to believe me when I told him." The soft smile she had faded again. "He really helped me out a lot and tolerated me when he didn't have to. In a lot of ways...he was like my brother and...now he's gone as well."

"I hope so," Mitsu nodded, though it didn't do much to ease her worry. Trying to focus on food Mitsu looked around their surrounding area to get an idea. "What about-"

"Well, what do you have here?" A long forgotten voice reached Mitsu's ears making shivers run down her spin. Turning slightly she saw the Cajun boy who hung out with the hive as well as a few other faces.

"Looks like a mutt and a little rat." One of the other boys piped up as they moved away from the store they had been loitering in front of. "You sure know how to pick your friends, don't you girl?"

"How's that dead b*****d treatin' you honey? I would offer you a warm touch but I don't know how much I would like a girl who's into doing corpses."

Mitsu suddenly looked like a cornered animal as the boys stepped closer, her tired eyes suddenly frightened as she hunkered down. It had been a while and she had been through a lot but the hive still made her scared. She knew they could be ruthless.

"And what about you quick fingers?" The Cajun looked toward Blade with a grin. "Long time no torment, Bro. I have a lot of time to make up for."

The Cajun's smile quickly faded. "I would be careful about the things you talk about, Bro."

"Speaking badly about Nami is the fastest way to a beating." Another boy spoke up, cracking his knuckles on both hands like he was preparing for a fight.

"What's the matter little mutt? Cat got your tongue?" The boy was about to reach out for Mitsu's arm but in her fright she lashed out at the hand coming toward her leaving four deep gashes along the boy's palm. "********! Son of a-! You little b***h!" The boy was about to strike her with the back of his hand but the Cajun caught his wrist. He remembered what had happened during Halloween, how the girl had snapped. They could have a bit of fun but it wasn't worth taking it too far.

The Cajun snorted staring at the fire in Blade's hand before he turned a bit, "Come on guys, it's not worth our time." In all of the history of dealing with the hive it was probably the shortest encounter on record. Slowly the rest of the boys followed suit but not before at least one of them spit in Blade's general direction.

Cowering back a bit further, Mitsu's tail came up between her legs like any frightened dog. It had been the first time she had attacked anyone and been semi-conscious of what she was doing. "T..thank you Blade." Her voice still seemed a bit off, a little shaky as she watched the hive members walk off with bewildered eyes.

Mitsu nodded lightly when Blade told her to relax. She supposed what he said held some truth to it, but that didn't entirely change the fact that they knew how to be virulent.

Taking a few calming deep breaths Mitsu tried to focus back on the task of finding something to eat. It was a little difficult since her mind really wasn't on sync with the idea. "W..what about there?" She just pointed at random but the place she happened to point to was a pub. Wavering Heights was the name so elegantly written on the sign out front in bold swirling gold letters. It looked like it was fairly well kept, another sign sitting out front with their specials of the day. Looked like they had more of an Irish theme if the names of the dishes gave anything away.
