He was scum, but the incentive to not have his eye popped out with a knife kept him going. Survival. That’s what it came down to. JUST surviving. While he could live and breathe without an eye, he could not make it as a member of the Negeverse and in the end, what point would there have been in living then? He had given up everything. He left home to stay in the city, and left school not only to avoid being approached by his mother and shipped to his father’s house, but it allowed him to spend more time patrolling. He quickly dashed all thoughts of some mediocre job that his average grades could land him, and college? His heart had never been into it. He was made for just the Negaverse, but it seemed he was made poorly. Still, it was all he had.
And he was betraying that by revealing secrets. “It’s not a computer database. It’s a board. Safer. It’s kept at our headquarters. We post what we know. If we meet someone, we post it. Name. Costume. Attack. Whatever we can. Castor is on it. I can’t remember who else. The capt.no…a general..” Zinkenite was higher in rank now. Wolframite was messing with a General now. A General’s project. A friend’s project. “…started it. It doesn’t need any maintaining now.” It was true. They didn’t mess with computers because computers could he hacked or accessed if a password was stolen. It was as if Zinkenite something like this would happen. That some of their own would be tortured. Smart. Woflramite would have smiled if he wasn’t terrified. Acid bubbled in the back of his throat.

A board...?
Birhan's lip curled. How positively primitive. She'd worked out that the Negaverse were insanely, stupidly proud of being 'human' and of course they wouldn't have anything as advanced as Mauvian technology, but to avoid even human technology? That would make it harder for them to find out exactly what the Negaverse knew.
So, Castor was a big target. To be expected, he was one of the first senshi, after all. No doubt Ares and key BMC members would be on there soon, if they weren't already. Speaking of Ares... Birhan's leader needed to know about this. She would want to know exactly who else was on the board. She would want to know that letting any Nega escape from now on meant the senshi would become a known target.
With a snarl, Birhan threw the knife at the tray it had come from. The force of her throw knocked it to the ground, the tray and other unknown metal instruments clanging out as they hit the concrete.
"Well," she growled at Wolframite, "looks like you just bought yourself some extra time with sight intact." Birhan didn't sound the slightest bit happy about that. Her fingers twitched. She had trouble holding still. She wanted to pick the blade back up and, damn the information Ares wanted, take Wolframite's eye anyway. This was meant to be her revenge.
With a curse, Birhan spun on her heel and made for the door. The kid could stay where he was. He'd still be here when she got back. And if what he had to say didn't please Ares, Birhan could take that blade back up and continue where she'd left off.
She shot a parting smirk over her shoulder. "Don't relax just yet," she warned. "I suggest you use the time I'm gone to think very hard about who else is on that board, and what information is given about them. Otherwise, if you're not useful, I'll get to play some more."
A soft chuckle left Birhan's throat. "Well, I suppose I won't complain too much if you don't remember anything else, then."
Then she was gone, the metal door slamming shut behind her. Wolframite was alone once again.
