Nyx just stared. It seemed like the pair of pokemon were in a sweetie contest. Perhaps using Tazieff to help with training the Charmeleon wasn't such a bad idea after all.

Tazieff could play that game. The bulky reptile folded her wings against her body and flopped over, shaking the floor close to her. She wasn't done yet, though, and rolled onto her back, putting her feet into the air and her fore-claws against her torso. And the topper, the Charizard began making the same droning, whining bellow as she had before. "Mwaaaaaaawr. MwAAAaaawr. Mwaaawr."

Nyx couldn't really do anything but shrug, she was just as puzzled at Faleen was. "Uh... Well... Give him the treat, then..."

Tazieff seemed to have forgotten, briefly, that they were in a contest, distracted by the fact that everything looked very interesting upside down, and the cool floor felt wonderful against her scales.

Tazieff was snapped back to whatever reality she normally resided in when her name was spoken. The Charizard rolled back over onto her belly and shuffled over on all fours until she was in front of Faleen and sat down; Tazieff's head drifted close to Faleen's hand, her long tongue snaked out and wrapped around the poffin bite, covering Faleen's hand in goo-y dragon saliva wherever it happened to touch, and then dragged the treat into the pokemon's waiting jaws.

The pokemon chewed loudly for a few moments, the treat crunching between her large canines, and then it was gone. Tazieff looked over at Charmeleon and tilted her head, as if she were baffled by the male pokemon. He did have a treat in his claw... The Charizard's long neck stretched out so that her nose was all but pressed up against the other pokemon's head, where then she began sniffing. And then she pulled her head back... and licked the side of Charmeleon's head.

Normally, Nyx would have thought that had been odd, what Tazieff did, but the pokemon never really behaved in a way one could consider normal. She was happy as long as her Charizard wasn't mauling anyone. "Ahh... Well. Lets see if you can get him to do something without Tazieff interfering. Tazieff, come here. Sit."

Tazieff mused, though what she said didn't really make sense. At least she stopped licking Charmeleon. The dragon pawed over to her trainer and sat, content with the amount of treats she'd had in the last few minutes. Tazieff sat with her tail waving slowly from side to side behind her, and her eyes on Charmeleon.

"Oh! Progress!" Nyx was excited; Just last week that feat had been impossible. Maybe getting the stuffing kicked out of him had indeed helped. "Hm." The agent scratched her head, "Lets see if he'll attack on command." Nyx pointed at a near by dummy--it would have been stupid to have the other pokemon attack the Charizard. "Tazieff, flamethrower the dummy."

Tazieff yawned before she stood on her hind legs, facing the target dummy, and took a deep breath. Charmeleon would likely recognize what came next: The grumbling bubbling sound, the hissing tea-kettle sound that came next quickly increasing into the roar of brilliant flames. The Charizard exhaled all of the air from her lungs, which sustained the flamethrower for quite a long time. After the display of firepower from the large pokemon, she stretched her wings, folded them again, and flopped back over onto the floor.

If that was meant to impress Tazieff, it didn't seem to work. The Charizard chuffed and rolled over onto her back and then flopped onto her other side. The great lizard yawned and pawed at some invisible thing in the distance.

"Well... That was something at least." And it was better than the Charmeleon turning on the two Rockets instead of the dummies--Though that would have ended badly for him. If only they could figure out something it wanted, so they could take it away when he disobeyed...

That wasn't a reply that Tazieff seemed to be able to accept. No, she would become un-bored, and he would help her. The Charizard pushed herself up on all fours and skulked over to Charmeleon. She said in a curious and slightly mocking tone. Such riddles from a dragon; Tazieff watched the other fire type for a moment before she started pushing him over with her head. It was a strange thing to do right after some bizarre observational riddles, but then... Tazieff was a bit mad.

"I'm glad. It'd have been a shame to have to add him to the lab's stock." Unwanted or unusable pokemon were often added to the science fodder for experimentation. An inevitable fate for many stolen pokemon who refused to obey their new masters. "I wonder if you'll be able to work with him if Tazieff isn't around..." Not that she wanted to try that at the moment. "Maybe- You didn't have him out very much since you'd gotten him, did you?"
