' A ... seal person?' Airaka blinked. She had no recollection of whatever a selkie might be. It would be interesting to see what the child looked like when it decided to make it's appearance. She gave a good bye wave to Ianna and Coailiann, smiling warmly at the child. Her sapphire eyes then darted back to Eamane. ' Are you nervous? ...' Airaka paused, thinking over the words that had just blurted from her mouth, and sighed on the inside. ' I mean, are you nervous now that you know that you will soon be a mother.' She coiled her fidgety sunkissed fingers around the wand in some way, then raised her lowered eyes back up to the woman opposite of her, a soft childish blush shining pink from her face.

Eamane smiled softly, her height made her appear much younger than she was, "I'm always a little nervous when i get ready for a new arrival but once they finally get here it goes away immediately" She tilted her head to the side and surveyed the woman in front of her. She seemed overly nervous, perhaps she was a recluse? That would be interesting "And there is no need to appologize...is this your first charge then?"
Eamane gracefully lowered herself to the ground again and patted the grass beside her inviting Airaka to join her. She set the trident in the sun beside her full skirt

Airaka smiled weakly, and with a quick nod of her head, followed Eamane to the ground, jeans wrinkling with her movements. Her wand was still clutched in her hands, yet slightly less clung to. She blinked down from the wand, and nodded her head. ' Yes, my first child. Never had one before. Yet I must say I've thought of it, never thought the whole thing would be placed in action.' Her smile became less shy, and she grinned up at her fellow wand wielder. ' You've had more than one, eh? I wonder how many of the others have had more than one child...' Her last sentence came out as more of a murmur, her thoughts coming out in words. Puzzlement could be read on her face for a couple seconds after, then she sighed, and nodded her head, seemingly agreeing with whatever she had spoken within her mind. She turned back to Eamane, the smile back on her face. ' I am awfully nervous.'

Eamane sighed and with a dreamy expression gazed up at the bright sky. "I have had many children...well actually I've only had one, the rest were adopted but it doesn't change how you feel about each new arrival" She grinned and turned back to Airaka "I think you're going to do fine, you seem so gentle and kind"
Her thoughts turned to the other guardians, how many were there anyways? "I haven't met anyone else really, I got a glance at one and of course Ianna"

First child? A pair of soft grey eyes centered themselves on Airaka with a sort of mild curiosity, as well as a muddled sense of delight.
'Eavesdroppin' dun build character.'
Her thoughts were broken by a miniscule tug at her sleeve. If she had so chosen, she could have just pretended she didn't feel it. She ran her fingers through the boy's silvery hair instead, reassuring him that she'd get to him in a moment. Daemyn shuffled his feet restlessly, though for Sibuna he'd keep his complaints quiet. The Stick was getting way too annoying for him to carry, and now that she was out of work...
" 'scuse us." Sibuna passed the two women a apologetic smile, preparing to make her way across the garden with her other child in tow. However, Daemyn paused. Curious little boy he was, with blackened skin and even darker eyes. Though, the most prominent feature about him had to be his ears, which were about the size of a foot in length and pointed at the end. These twitched now, as if sucking up the conversation. Sibuna gave him a questioning brow.
"Why can't we stop here?" He questioned, leaning against the large wand that was to be his new sibling. "Nice an' sunny."
"People are talking here." Sibuna gave him a little pat on the head, a patient one. "Here, let me take the wand now."

Airaka placed a hand behind her head, and blushed slightly at Eamane's last comment. Gentle, and kind. She wondered what the woman would think of her if she had know her while she was younger. Her eyes flicked to the foliage, then back to Eamane, thinking over her latest comment. 'I've only met Ianna.... And you, I guess.' Her eyes dashed away from Eamane, and blinked at the woman who just walked past the two of them. She grinned at the little boy childishly, and look a quick look at the wooden wand. 'Oh?' Airaka's small question came out in a quickly disappearing breath, and her sapphire eyes moved from Eamane, to the child, to the woman, then to her wand, where her she lingered for a second before lowering to her wand. Her fingers curled around the wand once again, the raised her head eying the woman.

Daemyn let the wand slip from his fingers, straightening himself up somewhat as the woman passed him a grin. He blinked quietly, but was quick to reflect the expression. "Sibby, she's got one too."
"Hm?" Sibuna's lips stretched, giving off a warm smile towards Airaka and Eamane, though her eyes focused on the one making the most action at the moment. "Oh! Well would you look at that? What color would you say that was, hmm?"
Clearly it was to the boy, because he immediately furrowed his brows. "...yellow?"
"There's a better word than that."
"Mnngh." Daemyn snatched at one of his ears, pulling it at the lobe as he tried to think it over. In the meantime, Sibuna gently shouldered her wand, making it seem like some sort of club now.
"You're the second one I've seen with a wand." All the others had children. "Did Miss Ianna, 'scuse me for pryin', tell you what sort of child was to come out of it?"

Airaka caught their small discussion, feeling suddenly very nervous as they talked over her and the wand. Her face was tinged slightly the same colour of her hair, and she gave a slight twitch. The blue eyes darted away from them, to one of her feet that were set to the out side of her cross legged sit. When the question was asked of the wand, she raised her head, and tilted it slightly, a sort of dog like look. She pondered over the question, seemingly have forgotten it, before she blinked, and muttered the answer that was beating on her brain since the time the question was asked. 'A wyvern. Ianna said that the soul possessed within this wand is that of a wyvern.' Twas all she knew, and even that made her head ache at the thought. So much confusion and thoughts that opposed each other were constantly ramming around in her head. A slight smile was worn on her face, yet it didn't show much emotion.

"Why...vern?" Sibuna chewed her lip as she sounded it out. It didn't help her understanding at all. Maybe she should have gotten into all that mystical hoo-ha while trying to research what the heck a dryad was. Though she didn't know exactly what this why-vern was, she wasn't about to let on any more about it.
'Issa serpent.' Volunteered that little voice. 'Ooooh, chile! Best keep 'way from that sorta thang.'
"Gold?" Questioned Daemyn, looking up at Sibuna.
"Huh?"
"The stick... Gold, right? Or geld..." He trailed off, yanking at his ear again.
"Ah! Yes. Very good, Daemyn! Um.." She forced a smile towards the lady. "I'm Sibuna, and I have a dryad of sorts... Like a woodland nymph? I only got it not too long ago. How long have you had yours?"

Airaka nodded her head, feeling more under pressure then when it was just her and Eamane. What was this woman doing her anyway? It wasn't everyday someone appeared from the foliage. Airaka felt lucky the woman had walked out like she did, instead of attempting to scare them. She could see herself bouncing into the air with a screech. Wincing at her own thoughts, she slowly brought her mind back to reality, and focused on the boy, who had just spoken. Her eyes flicked between the two with their little conversation, and when Sibuna started speaking directly at her, Airaka flashed a weak smile in retaliation to the other woman's fake one. She didn't know much of mythology, it wasn't her strong point. Yet she was one for fairy tales. When Sibuna mentioned ''nymph'' she grinned slightly, and sighed inwardly, happy she could actually recognize one of the wands. Sorta. ' Airaka. And, I got my wand a while back, as well. But not too long ago.'

"Ah, so.. we seem to be at the same stage." She breathed something of relief, glancing to her wand. She had originally thought she'd been doing something wrong with it. Of course, the thought never crossed her mind that this other woman(girl?) could be doing something wrong as well.
"Nice to make your acquaintance." Sibuna offered, observing with idle interest as this other girl winced. Ah. Maybe she was feeling as awkward as the waitress herself was. However, with the grin had come a loosening of muscles that bunched in the back of her neck. Her large lips pressed themselves together and returned the smile. A much more comfortable one, of course. "Can I ask you a silly question?"

Airaka's blue eyes floated back over to the wand, as she listened to Sibuna's statements. The woman's thoughts were faintly focused on Sibuna, more focused on the wand, wondering what they would look like when they finally spouted from their wands. Her fingers coiled once more around the wyvern wand, before she moved her eyes back over to Sibuna. With a shrug of her shoulders, she mustered, 'I don't mind. Ask away.' Children usually blurted out their questions, not seeming to care if they were rude or not, so Sibuna's statement surprised her slightly.

"What... do you do with your wand? I mean, do you carry it around with you everywhere or do you just bring it here? And when you're at home do you talk to it?" Because she was /just/ asking. Sure, children liked to go ahead and blurt out her questions, but technically Sibuna was no child. She was twenty three. Chances were, she was older than a good bit of the owners here.

Airaka blinked at the question, fiddling with it in her mind. She then parted her lips in a slight smile, before letting the words issue from her mouth, ' I do carry the wand around everywhere. Although, most of the time it is hidden my bag. I've never really came her before, so I can't really say I only bring it here. I doubt I would anyway. It goes everywhere with me. Even to the school where I work.' She pondered a bit on the last question before shaking her head, 'I've never really thought to speak with it.' She fingered the wand before starting again, 'The children I baby sit enjoy playing with it. I don't think they understand. But then again, neither do I. ' Airaka blushed slightly and dragged her self to her feet. She dusted herself off, and stood facing Sibuna. 'I really don't know much about these guys.'

"You teach?" Sibuna asked, her soft gray eyes quietly taking in Airaka's looks before her gaze flickered to her own wand. Airaka didn't remind her of a school teacher. Then again, Sibuna might as well have belonged to an Amish county with all the mean-faced school marms whose weapon of choice was always a strong hickory stick. "Mine is... a little large, but I carry it to work as well." She laughed softly. "Well, Daemyn here does. No one asks a child their motives while they're alongside an adult."
"Ah, well we have that in common. I'm starting to think I'm doing something wrong," She confessed, one of her fingers absently stroking a petal of one of the wand's many white flowers. "I plan to go to the library soon as I can get off work. I'm on lunch right now." She shifted her wrist to check the time. A watch was one of the only things she tolerated. She wouldn't very well wear a sundial on her wrist, could she? "I expect I'll treat it like a child, though, whatever comes out. An' if anyone at work says different... well, I'll deal with it. It was a nymph to begin with, though. How much mo' human can you get?"
