Nyx coughed a few more times, clearing the smoke out of her lungs, and then took a deep smog-free breath. "What? Where?- He couldn't have gotten far, we're in the middle of the desert." She looked around, trying to catch sight of the pokemon in the distance, but with no luck. He could have been hiding around any dune or cactus.
"Tazieff, see if you can find him and bring him back to us. Lets go look for him on foot in the mean time, Faleen." The scientist sighed, at least the sun was almost set, so they wouldn't have the harsh heat of the sun bearing down on them while they searched. "I'll have a sweet for you when you come back, Tazieff." She told the flying lizard before it flew off.
The Charizard let out a rumbling purr before propelling herself into the air and searching for the other pokemon. She wanted her sweet.

Great, just great, she should have probably looked out for something like that, this pokemon was so much more trouble than it was worth. not looking pleased in the least, but Nyx's more calm solution helped Faleen's face from turning to red.
"Alright," she agreed, glancing over at Tazieff as the dragon took off to look by air.
Charmeleon had taken off as fast as he could, in the must rugged direction he could see, knowing it would give him more places to hide, and namly, give him time to be able to burrow himself to keep himself out of view. ducking behind a small cluster of boulders, the Charmeleon growled as he began to dig into the sand.

If the Charmeleon bothered to look up at the sky, he would have spotted Tazieff's hulking form in the sky, her tail flame a shining beacon in the ever growing darkness. Similarly, though light was waning and the desert was vast, the escaped fire type's tail was clearly visible from the air.
Slowly the Charizard began descending, circling the other pokemon like a vulture as she made her way to finally landing on the boulders hiding him from view on the ground. Tazieff let out a low, rolling growl and held her wings out, making herself look larger than she was, though that was unnecessary-she was already much larger than the Charmeleon.

At first, no, he wasn't saying attention, so he didn't notice her until it was to late, and she was already descending toward him.
With a sharp growl he leap backward from where she had landed on the bolder, sliding a distance in the sand before coming to a stop with one paw pressed to the ground. Oh great, they had found him so quickly! this wasn't good, the human would come, and take him back into the ball again, and keep him there for another long time. But as he soon noticed... the humans were not coming, it was just the Charizard. Not that this was any better, he was well aware of how strong she looked. he growled at her, shifting back a little more.

The Chairzard's tail waved slowly behind her, clearly she was unconcerned by the other pokemon's refusal to go back. Was her only response. She folded her wings against her body and looked to be waiting patiently.

This comment left him speechless as he eyed her cautiously, <... whats that supposed to mean?> he asked after a moment, having no idea what she was saying, and sounding genuinely confused. He didn't drop his guard though, quietly shifting backwards a few more steps, as he breathed heavily through his nose, jets of hot steam shooting out with a hiss.

The larger pokemon cocked her head to the side. It made perfect sense. The Charmeleon's freedom was worth a bit of sugar or chocolate. The female Charizard made no move to attack him... yet. But there was a small bug crawling across the boulder, and that drew her attention for the moment. Lowering her nose close to the rock, she watched the little beetle crawl to wherever it was headed.

The Chameleon didn't know how to react to this, she sure sounded like she was going to try and take him back, but... right now she seemed more interested in a beetle that was on the rock. He said, once he thought he might have to say something. maybe convince her to turn against the humans? unlikely, but what else could he do?

One moment the Charizard was content to watch a bug, and then the next, she squished it; Then she looked up at the other pokemon. She sat up and scratched behind her horn.

He answered, blinking at the bug that was squished, she was certainly.. different. He at least got her asking questions, He didn't want to fight her, he could clearly see that she was strong, very strong.

Tazieff lowered herself to all fours and slinked off of the boulders and onto the sand, moving slowly around the other pokemon. The pokemon rumbled, not quite a growl, and not quite a purr.

Both claws were on the floor now, watching her closely, and stiffly as she started to move around him. he growled at this.

She stated rather poignantly. It made perfect sense to her. If a human really cared for their pokemon, they'd come after them, if they didn't, obviously they didn't want them.

His eyes went wide in surprise with what she had just said, staring at her, and while his jaw opened, no sound came out. He didn't like what she had just said at all! But there wasn't anything he could say that countered that very well. Instead his nose wrinkled as he growled deeply at her.

The dragon's tail lashed around irritably as the Charmeleon growled at her. That was not an acceptable reply to her very astute point. Tazieff let out a low rolling growl in reply, pulling back the skin around her mouth and baring her fangs, daring the other fire type to try and attack her.
