Justin snapped out of his thoughts, looking at Maria. "It's nothing." He said. He didn't like lying to his little sister....not one bit. However, he wasn't ready to tell her what was on his mind, and he thought she wasn't ready to hear it yet.

~Follow me inside, outside, through the stratosphere....~ Maria frowned. She didn't think it was "nothing," but didn't push the subject. If Justin didn't want to talk about it, she figured that's all there was to it. The back door slid open, so she looked over; her mom was letting Napoleon outside. Napoleon ran over to the two, jumping onto Maria's lap and curling up, closing her eyes. Maria smiled, scratching her calico behind the ears. Thankfully, Napoleon was spayed, had a black collar with nametags, ect. So for the most part, letting her outside supervised was all right. "Hi Nappy....How's my baby doing?" She cooed. Napoleon replied with a purr. ~....The moon is shining for you, it knows that I adore you~

Justin smiled at Napoleon. He knew his sister loved that cat, and, to be honest, he liked the little creature, too. Artemisa, however, was his best friend. He raised that hawk since she was still an egg.

~~ Napoleon saw Artemisa, and her tail began flicking, eyes wide and alert, ears rotating a bit. Maria frowned. "No....Nappy, you can't attack her." She scolded, wrapping her arms around the feline to have more control over it. ~~

Artemisa gave Napoleon what may have been a smirk, before flying up into the tree. Justin sighed. "Those two will NEVER get along." He said.

~Anywhere you want to go, anything you need to know....~ "Mine too." Maria smiled a bit. "But...I guess that...there has to be some mean people." She layed back on the grass, staring at the sky, hands resting on her stomach. Nappy moved to adjust to this new position, curling up next to Maria, purring. ~....All the best in life, I wanna get it for you~

~~ Maria closed her eyes, smiling still. "This...is so relaxing...I like it." She said, sighing happily. She looked so peaceful like this. Like the little five year old who came here years ago. That was one thing which hadn't been removed from her appearance, even with age. Heck, it'd hardly been removed from her personality. "Do you like it?" ~~

Justin nodded. "Yeah, I do. I almost wish I could relax like this forever." He said. Sitting here with Maria and sharing peaceful moments with her was always a good thing.
