athdlg Princess Mint the Great Have you driven anywhere latly? Gas prises are lredy throw the fu Everyone is so selfrightous. The only time I care about helping other contrys is when natural desasters strike and kill people like Haiti and now Japan. Other then that we should mind our own bisness unless they start atacing other contrys. It ALL comes down to the oil dosn't it? Why not just whipe Lybia off the map and take the oil? Hell England colonized other lands, why can't we? Wouldn't it be fun to bring back the kings and queens of old? The gas prices may be rising and Lybia is a source of oil. Though that's not the only cause for oil going up. But that's another issue. Gas prices have been goign up before the Lybia problem anyway.... The main issue is that the people of Lybia are rebeling against their own government. Their leader is a dictator and their government is family run. They don't want to step down from power so the people are going to make them. The other countries don't want this problem to spread so they're trying to help by making the people and their government compromise. And we can't whipe Lybia off the map and take the oil because that would cause even more havoc than before.... The kings and queens back then were known to conquer and control other kingdoms, which would cause problems, once again. Well didn't that same thing happen to France once? I don't rember anyone helping them? And I'm not stupid i know gas has gona up before that. did you only read this comment I was repliying to other things said.

Ya know... it's sutle... but I think this is world war 3.
US, UK, and France are refered to as Aliied Forces in all the news i read. We are not only atacking the Lybien govermant but the whole war on terror thing that we coulda solved with a nuwk, but NO the UNs too soft.

Princess Mint the Great Well didn't that same thing happen to France once? I don't rember anyone helping them? And I'm not stupid i know gas has gona up before that. did you only read this comment I was repliying to other things said. I guess no one had a reason to. Maybe no one cared. Or they handled themselves. No need to get fiesty I was only stating the fact. I did not call you stupid. Yes, I read all of your comments. I was only replying to a specific post because I wanted to get my point across. I saw no need to reply to the others. USA already did that, and I agreed with those points.

athdlg All we did was shut down the ground to air missles in Lybia. At least, that's what the U.S. was doing. The U.N. has asked several countries to assist in taking the leader of Lybia out. This includes the U.S. So yes it is our problem.

I disagree with the WWIII idea. Mostly because I don't want another war to happen...But I don't see that happening.
I can see what your getting at, take out the dictator...
But they can't just shoot the guy. It's a family run government. His son will take over the position. Most likely he would then take revenge on the country who did that to his father, or rather anybody.
Killing the leader won't solve anything...at least in that way.
The U.N. would never go with that idea anyway.

Princess Mint the Great Well when u pointed out about the gas prises going up before that I took it as u saying i didn't know that.
So am I the only one that thinks this way? Hmm...there are others who probably think this way.
