Roxy_roxanna2 Byagane319 Lilura knew she wasn't much of a fighter but at least she was making contact. But those stings were leaving ugly red marks on her pale skin. She swung once again. Damage done: 6 Lilura HP: 16  Without warning the figure disengages and disappears back into the fog! What was that all about? Hey it left behind something shiny... HP: 0LOOT: Pendant (Please post your minipet username) ((Sorry for delay, waws posting from phone. Now home. Here is Profile )) Lilura's final swing seemed to destroy the creature but her momentum as the thing disentergrated made her stumble. She almost caught herself then fell flat on her back between Daisuke and Nyyrikki. She was breathing hard and her arms had several nasty looking welts on them. The skin wasn't broken but they stung like jack! Around her weapon a pendant glittered and slid down to rest on her hand. She just lay there a moment, trying to catch her breath and not to cry. She had been quite scared but realized she had found her friends again. "There....there is something...in the fog...."

Nyyrikki was on his knees immediately, propping her head on his lap. He frowned at the harsh red marks that littered her body, and shuddered a little. It could have been any one of them. He looked up to Bella, a frenzy starting in his eyes.
"Do you have a bottle of water? To get the sand out of her wounds?" When Lilura spoke, his eyes were immediately on her. "What was it? Was it a person? What's that thing in your hand, Lil?"

Lilura sat up a little, comforted by Nyyrikki's touch. Certainly better than stinging swords. She looked up into his orange and black eyes and tried to think.
"Well..it wore a long robe or cloak. Covering itself complete so I never really saw it. It had two big swords, they glowed like they were on fire," she looked down at her arms, "And boy did they sting when they hit me."
When he asked what was in her hand she was about to say a pipe but then she realized there was something else. She looked at the pendant and unwound it from her hand and the pipe. "I guess it's a pendant. Must have come off the creature when I hit it," she looked between Bell and Rikki, "But guys, I swear. It felt like....a reaper....like reaper magic..."

After the worry and what felt like hours even though it had only been minutes he assumed, Nyyrikki's worried voice was calling out to Lilura. He didn't move from that very spot, with Bella in his arms as he pitched in to help him call out to the reaper.
"Lilura! Where are you!?" He was coming so close to detesting fog when a thud next to him and Nyyrikki sounded. His eyes slowly swept to the floor to see the ghoul wounded and exhausted, going by her panting. What the hell had done that to her?
His eyes widened as the other reaper tended to their friend. She unraveled something from her weapon and her hand, he was curious to what it was so he leaned over just a little. A pendant? Reapers?
Ah, just great. What a time to be ghost huh.
"We gotta be more careful." He mumbled softly."You ok Lilura?" He asked, looking at her, then back to Bella to see if she did have any water, before looking back to the other two. Something really wasn't right. Guess the only thing they could do is prepare for the next attack.

The whole thing had happened so quickly that Belladonna only had enough time to slap a hand over her mouth so she wouldn't start screaming. If this was anything like Christmastown, most battles were fought alone, won by one's own merit. The fact that Lilura had completely disappeared into the fog was more than unnerving and Belladonna clung to Daisuke all the more, her eyes wide and waiting until the other reaper fell from the fog between them all.
"Oh Hecate! Oh--" The witch began, darting over to the girl and glad Nyrikki was already holding her. "Water? No water, sorry... Maybe we should go back to the portal. I think it can heal you. I don't know though..." For a moment the witch's hands only fluttered in the air, feeling more lost and confused than she had on their most recent field trip. There was no mission this time... No great goal or enemy they had to defeat. It was only a mysterious fog island and Belladonna did not appreciate it. "Can you carry her Nyrikki?"

Lilura smiled and took Bella's hands. She knew the other witch was really upset. "Don't worry Bella, I'll be ok. I can walk. My arms just sting really bad." To prove it she stood up, a little shakey from being tired but was able to carry her own weight. Even in boots this reaper could walk.
However she did cling to Nyyrikki's arm. She didn't want to get pulled into the fog again, she didn't know if she had the strength to fight off another creature. "Maybe we should go back to the portal. There might be a path somewhere that's easier to follow than just wandering around." She looked to all of them, ignoring the pain in her arms.
She felt safer with Nyyrikki near her. Why she didn't know. After all she wasn't aware if he could fight but his "bad boy" look did make her feel he could hold his own. Also he was a Grim Reaper and she always felt they were tougher than some. Suddenly she remembered something and rummaged around in her backpack. There she found a flashlight. She handed it to Daisuke and went back to clinging to Nyyrikki's arm.

Nyyrikki's face scrunched in concern as Lil struggled to get up, and once she was steady and holding onto his arm, he placed his free hand over hers, making sure he'd feel if she was pulled away again. "Yeah, I agree. Lets head back to the supplies tent and decide what to do from there. Lilura can rest and we'll find another plan."
He felt like an idiot for suggesting this. They probably should have waited back at the tent for some better direction. Then Lil wouldn't be hurt and it wouldn't be his fault. Angry at himself, he bent down to scoop up the mace that he'd dropped when Lil had been lost and hung it from his belt. He was quick to return his hand to it's place over Lilura's.

"You sure?" Belladonna asked of the girl, eyebrows crinkling at the thought of her potentially falling due to her injuries. After a long moment of staring-but-sort-of-glaring at Lilura, Belladonna finally nodded with agreement. "Alright. Let's head out then..." The witch took a deep breath and wrapped her arms back around Daisuke's arm, taking a moment to grab her own flashlight and flick it on. It didn't do much use besides make the fog turn a nice yellow color instead of gray.
"Fantastic..." She murmured under her breath, trudging off back toward the portal.

Lilura was glad for such good company. She knew Bella was just being concerned for her well being. But they did have to get back to the main spot or they'd be attacked again. She held on a little tighter to Nyyrikki's arm. She smiled up at him as he placed a hand over hers. He really was sweet. She blushed a bit, hoping the fog hid it.
As Bella left clinging to Daisuke, Lilura followed clinging to Nyyrikki. At least she had him if not Tortalo.
