lizbot Taska Neko It seemed even though Sepheran had turned to try and get a good grip on where the enemy was, it was fairly useless. Sepheran groaned once more as he felt a sting from the attack making him take a step back. What they heck were these things...?! Sepheran could feel himself growing heavy and slower then normal, as if losing his energy. He would have to be more careful from now on. Still...he wasn't going down without a fight, lifting his weapon he tried to once more go in for a hit. His slowed reflexes however made it easy to dodge it seemed as he missed yet again. HP: 24-3= 21 Damage: 0 Cocking their head slightly, the figure seems almost amused at the other's lack of a good counter. Of course that didn't stop them from slipping into a better position to fire again. A miss? Overconfidence is indeed costly.HP: 11 Damage: 0

Petro simply nodded at the introductions, keeping his attention elsewhere. Apparently he'd been looking at the wrong direction and failed to see whatever it was that attacked Sepheran. It reminded Petro too much of Christmas Town, and with his nerves on edge, his temper was getting the better of him. He shot both Mandy and Arachne an angry glare, "Y' two led that to us!" he accused.

This time Sepheran seemed to be doing much better. He managed to dodge the next attack, now if only he could keep doing that he might stand a chance. Brandishing his weapon once more Sepheran tried to move into a better position himself. Doing so seemed to benefit him as his wooden sword made contact. Sepheran felt a jolt of excitement for his first hit...but he still had to be careful. HP: 21 Damage: 2

"Its good to meet you, Mandy, although I wish we did so under... Uh, better circumstances." She managed a sheepish smile at the ghoul before giving her free, non-wooden-bat hand a dismissive wave at the thank you; after all, Mandy needed it more than her! She'll regulate her temperature. Somehow. Probably by clinging to Puppy. AND AH WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!
"S-Sepheran!" She barely stopped herself from throwing herself at the attacker - again, out of instinct - and instead, looked to Petro (the most reliable boil in the group now that the second most reliable was under attack), obviously distressed - his accusations were not helping, of course. She frowned, gently poking Petro's arm. Her voice was firm as she spoke, "Not the time to be pointing fingers. If they did, it was not on purpose... They were bound to appear anyway, after that first one at the tent."
If she tried to help, she might be a bother instead; best to have a one-on-one. Frowning, she settled for the only thing she knew to do, "BE CAREFUL."

Sepheran could tell had surprised the mysterious attacking figure, so much that his next attacks seemed easier to dodge. Taking a firm grip on his sword once more Sepheran tried to land another hit, and so he did. This time however his hit was much weaker then the last just grazing the attacker. Well it was better then nothing. HP: 21 Damage: 1

Arachne nodded as Elizabeth introduced the others, rubbing her arms, her teeth chattering. 'I al-ready know Sepheran.' she favoured the boil with a little smile, a wan one at that, but it would have to do.
'I'll w-walk with you.' Now that she had found Lizzy she wasn't going to leave her side; she was being oddly assertive and for Arachne's current state of mind it was very welcome...she jumped as something, someone stepped out from behind Sepheran, and she raised her table leg with numb fingers, staring at it as it attacked the boil. She rounded angrily on Petro for a moment, furious that he thought it was okay to lay blame on her and the other ghoul.
'Jack off.' she hissed, anger warming her for a moment, her shivers subsiding. 'Stop attacking us, you want to be angry at someone? Be angry at whoever the jack that is!'

They were gone and yet... Sepheran would feel distinctly watched as he continued on with his friends. This definitely wasn't over just yet. HP: 8 Damage: Null

Just when he seemed to be getting the knack of things the attacker seemed to run away. "He ran away..." Sepheran stated unsure if he was lucky or unlucky...could it be going to call more of it's friends? Sepheran didn't particularly like the thought.
It continued to linger in his mind as he moved back towards the group, it was easy to tell he was a bit on edge. Who could blame him though, not only had he been attacked the attacker had got away. Sepheran shifted his head slightly to look behind him as if it would do any good. He couldn't see anything really...but he could feel himself being watched...and it wasn't a good feeling.

((ooc: I'm a slow poster using my phone ;A wink )
The monster boil continued to glare heatedly at the two ghouls, not so much as flinching at Arachne or her anger. "So y' say," he snorted back. The poke in his arm barely registered to him, but thankfully Lizzy's voice did. A heated grunt was his response to the pink-haired ghoul but all the same he did as she asked. Okay maybe he didn't completely calm down but he certainly focused his anger elsewhere. Lips pressed into a grimace, Petro folded his arms across his bare chest, the grip on his mace tightening. The monster boil did not agree with Lizzy, but he would defer to her nevertheless.

Arachne let out a low noise of relief, sending another glare Petro's way before going over to Sepheran.
'Are you okay? Did you get injured?'
She knew she was acting worried over a monster, but she didn't care anymore. The Lucky 13 club members could chew her out if they ever got back to the Academy in one piece, and sticking together would be the only way that would happen.

Sepheran was distracted momentarily when Arachne spoke to him. His head turned to her direction. He did his best to give the ghoul a smile, "I'm alright, just a few scraps is all," Sepheran spoke. "If taking a few hits means sparing you guys a fight I'm more then willing to do so. Don't worry, I don't plan on dieing anytime soon either, they just caught me off guard this time. I'll try not to let that happen again," Sepheran replied trying his best to ease their worries if only a little. Arachne was a nice ghoul after all.
Lifting his hand he petted Liannan gently trying to calm himself down without being obvious of his nerves. She gently butted her head against his hand reassuringly. "Let's keep moving...and be careful...I feel like that thing is around and watching us..." he murmured lightly eager to get their search back underway.

She eyed Petro for a little longer before offering him a small smile, glad that he looked calmer even if his body language told her that he was not fully convinced. She chewed on her lower lip nervously before returning to where Mandy and Mac were; if Christmas was any indication, they would have to work together if they wish to make it out in one piece... At least there was an infirmary and staff in Christmas! Here, they are all alone...
She turned to Sepheran and Arachne, glad that the two got along with and knew each other; it made things that much easier. Looking him over from where she was to make sure that he wasn't too badly injured, she heaved a sigh of relief, breaking into a small, nervous smile, "A-ah, don't say that! We're in this together... And it seems like whoever or whatever that was, it pulled you aside for a one-on-one. If it happened once, it'll happen again. Everyone should be on guard, in case... Like Christmas..."
She then paused, shivering as she rubbed her bare arms before nodding, forcing a smile as she addressed the group, "And yeah, lets go... To the docks with the ships." Not familiar with Mandy, she decided to cling onto the other nearest person's - Mac's - arm again, giving the boil a pitiful look; his wet (and cold) sleeve did nothing to warm her, but it was mostly a gesture for comfort...
... She was missing Amrita already.

Damage to Lizzy: None! She felt herself being pulled away from Mac - and while he was not at all comforting, it was better than being attacked. She flailed for a whole 2 seconds before realizing that she was armed, although not with her weapon of choice. Holding onto the old wooden bat with both hands, she charged forward at the mysterious figure, bat raised, ready to strike.
