LividPeas Stopping in mid step when the figure came into view, Mei practically gave a look of 'ARE YOU SERIOUS!?' when realizing what it was. Jack damn! She leaves the groups side for a second, and then this happens? She better not hear of any lectures after this. Dragged off to a more secluded area of the town, she pulled away from the offender, aiming to hit the guy as she moved but missed entirely. The only reward she got was the sudden slash from the weapon they wielded. "Efff---" Clutching at her side for a moment, she couldn't get over the stinging sensation left by it. Nasty bloody weapon this guy had.. Regaining her posture some, she looked them over, curious if they had any intel on what happened to this town, or the ghoul that had been taken before. "Sooo... I don't suppose your up to filling me in on what's going on here, huh?" HP: 21 Damage: MISS 
The figure, silent as a grave, said nothing and made no attempts to even stop to contemplate the ghoul's question. Instead, taking a step forward, the scythe in its hands flared to life, glowing red as it charged at the ghoul again, weapon slicing down on her, before moving back again swiftly - there were no wasted movements.

The figure, silent as a grave, said nothing and made no attempts to even stop to contemplate the ghoul's question. Instead, taking a step forward, the scythe in its hands flared to life, glowing red as it charged at the ghoul again, weapon slicing down on her, before moving back again swiftly - there were no wasted movements.
HP: 9
Damage: 5 Her questions were answered, but not with the answer she was hoping for. Another good slash from the cloaked offender caused the doll to stagger slightly. It hurt! Oh Jack it hurt! Not to mention, with each blow, her energy was fast depleting. "I'll take that as a no then.." Pushing forward, she began to close the distance between them in hopes of getting a strike of her own in, but instead collapsed to the ground. She needed her energy back! She refused to fall to one of these bastards who couldn't even show their faces! HP: 16 Damage: MISSED. AGAIN

The figure closed in on the fallen doll, extending out a hand, as if offering to help her up... But then quickly withdraw it mockingly. With both hands back on the scythe, it moved a few steps backward and raised the weapon above its head, bringing it down swiftly - just as it was about to hit, however, the figure stopped, the glowing blade just above the ghoul's head. A split second passed, and the blade was swung above her head instead, but the energy drain was still felt.
It was playing with her.

The figure closed in on the fallen doll, extending out a hand, as if offering to help her up... But then quickly withdraw it mockingly. With both hands back on the scythe, it moved a few steps backward and raised the weapon above its head, bringing it down swiftly - just as it was about to hit, however, the figure stopped, the glowing blade just above the ghoul's head. A split second passed, and the blade was swung above her head instead, but the energy drain was still felt.
It was playing with her.
HP: 9

Watching as they quickly pulled there hand away again, she feared that the next attack would be a critical one. Why the hell was just laying here!? Why wouldn't she move!? It was like she had lost all control of her body, and was just watching from the side lines. Damn! Move! MOVE! Wincing, she waited for the soon to come impact as they brought there weapon down, but instead, felt nothing. Almost shaking now, she hesitantly looked up to see the weapon held directly above her before a swift over her instead. "Ee!" Ducking down, she felt a small amount of energy drain again. This person.. They were sadistic! Finding new strength in herself, she pushed herself up off the ground, tackling her attacker before slamming the damned useless emergency kit into them. HP: 15 Damage: 8

The kit had hit, but the hooded figure didn't even flinch at the attack. There wasn't even an 'ouch' from it - instead, it just moved back a little, observing the ghoul as it placed some distance between the two of them. As if deciding to give the ghoul a second chance, it kicked the first aid kit back towards her before gesturing for the ghoul to come at it again, crossing its arms and tapping a foot as if to say 'I haven't got all day, you know'.

The last hit didn't appear to do much either, as the figure didn't utter a single sound. It did, however, move back a few steps before using the blunt end pf its weapon to send the first aid kit sliding back to the ghoul. Then, as if preparing to strike again, it raised its weapon... Without warning, however the figure disengages, the glow from its weapon vanishing completely before it brought the scythe down, driving it into the ground, leaning on it casually. While its face was hidden - DOES IT EVEN HAVE A FACE?! - the ghoul would no doubt feel that it was smirking at her.
Pulling up its weapon from the ground, it then moved backwards into the fog, being enveloped by it as something glowing dropped from its cloak onto the ground before the figure vanished for good.

Mumbeling to herself, she picked up her kit again. "Icouldhavegotitmyself.." Watching its movements, she prepared herself for another attack as it appeared that was what she was in for. However, for some reason, they just stopped. The glow vanished, and it propped itself against its own weapon. Was this all a game to it? How much health did they have? Did she even weaken it!? Head snapping up, she felt as though they were grinning---she KNEW they were grinning. "Hey--!" Without warning, it moved back into the fog dropping something along th way. Moving to pick it up, she examined it for a moment before looking to catch sight of the reaper, who was now disappearing from view. "HEY! GET BACK HERE!" Running in the direction they had gone, she soon stopped completely when realizing it was a lost cause. "Damn..!" Kicking at the ground, she eyed the pendant again only to place it around her neck. Folding her arms and made her way back towards the group--she was done exploring alone. (( Profile ))

"... Yeah, thanks," he grumbled, wiping it off and heaving a sad sigh as he gazed off towards the open nothingness. So much fog. It looked so... sullen, depressing even.
"Nosi, Lapid, Donner, I... I-I miss them..."
Elaphe might have missed the shift in the fog that happened in a mere milisecond, but there was no way of missing the semi-opaque figure in front of him. It was himself, literally, only watered down considerably, as if someone had taken a really horrible black and white charcoal drawing of himself.
"I said, you are lonely right?" The figure, himself repeated, crossing their arms. "You miss them. This island is stupid. You'd rather be at home with the people, the creatures you hold dear. You can fool others, but you can't fool me."
They held out their hand, just ten paces away. "Let's go. We can go away from here, away from here for good."

Sarias was taken aback by the bold words of Bul, who was he to judge her? But she knew better than to start making more enemies right now, it could wait. She battered her hand against the air as if pushing the question away.
"That was a...a moment of weakness." She stated as she choose her words. "My banshee scream, it is...it is very powerful in this state." She touched her arm to show she meant her solid form and then lightly brushed her skull pin. "I caused myself a lot of damage screaming that day, I have learnt not to do it again, there is a reason I am blessed with this skill. Its because I am dead. A ghost." She dropped her hands beside her and shrugged "Always read the small print." She grinned as she looked over at the doll student making her way to them. She didn't bother to reply to her, Bul seemed to be the student everyone was going to for answers. Even when the second student appear she remained quite, her mind clicking over as she pondered each of them. At least they were quickly becoming a group, any attacks would be better this way.
And attacks there will be.
The being fazed into the clearing as if he had always been there, picking Mei as the lucky student. Sarias gritted her teeth at the pathetic excuse of a fight. This cloaked idiot was just playing with her! and Mei was...well, Sarias felt a small pang of pity. It was obvious this ghoul had no fighting skills what so ever, a lot of pluck though, her attacks may have the heart but they lacked any impact, she missed more than she struck. In the end Sarias thought the being had grown tired of this ridiculous display and left Mei alone. It was probably a good thing, the ghoul looked like she did more damage just by herself if the cracks and breaks were anything to go by.
"Well done" she uttered as the student rejoined them, a hint of sarcasm lashed on her words. "I dare say you could have bored him to death." She smiled deeply, but it didnt reach her eyes. "Now the fun and games have ended we need to explore this town. I don't know if its wise to spit up into smaller groups or just move altogether. What are your thoughts?"

It wouldn't have stricken Bul as strange for Mei to start investigating but before too long she was out of sight. He couldn't just dismiss it but to run off and further separate the group would just amplify the issue.
When Sarais began to tell him about her scream, he had actually heard one- well more or less yelling very close by. "Well it may come in handy if we get bombarded by too many of those guys-" he said, though completely unaware or at least forgotten that all natural and FEAR abilities would not work on the island.
"Mei, you alright??" he asked when she approached. "Looking a little ruffled... a cloak?" he asked, not that he didn't know. "It looks like they will grab anyone alone or anyone in a group. Maybe if anything we should only split into pairs..." he said and looked to the three around him: Raziel, Sarias, and Mei. He didn't really care who went with who but pairs seemed like the better option than a whole group. That way they could tackle the town in twice the speed. "If we split we could come back to our starting point.." he said, and with his toe claws started to claw a medium sized ring with a couple of lines into the hard ground. It hurt but the circle was just visible enough that they could look down and see it was freshly made.
"Does that sound good?"
