 Lydia smiles slightly. "Yes....I'm alright." she says and goes to shake his hand, then notices he wasn't looking directly at her. "No....it didn't..." she looks at him closer, but decides to ignore it fearing she might insult him. "Umm, I'm Lydia."

 Alexander laughed a little at the awkward tone in her voice, he shook her hand and laughed, "My name is Alexander." he grinned smugly, and blinked tilting his head a little just for affect, "I'm sorry is somthing bothering you?"

Lydia turned her head to one side when he laughed and blinked as he shook her hand. She knew there was something different about him, but she didn't want to just flat out ask. "O-oh..." she snapped out of her thoughts when he asked her a question. "N-no, nothing's bothering me." she says and stares at him again, then catches herself doing it and turns away so he won't feel awkward or anything.

Cameo laughed more hearing the awkward air in her tone, he leaned on his cane seeming to be in a vary cheerful mood, he winked at her and smirked, "So whats a lady such as yourself doing wandering around a place like this?" he asked assuming she was a lady, he hands felt soft and feminine and her voice the same, so he thought it was a safe assumption, "It's not a vary safe place you know, at any time of day." he wasn't sure if it was day or night he didn't really bother much to wonder, what time it was, different creatures were out at different times of the day so it was always safe to hide and be careful.

Lydia still stared at him occasionally, wondering why he had a cane but figured it was a small weapon. "Oh, well my apartment got infested with those giant creatures so I had to get out. I managed to squish most of them when I cut the lines of some traffic lights as they crawled under them but I missed this one and it had been following me." she said and pointed down to the dead spider oozing green acidic venom from its mouth.

Cameo tapped the spiders body with his cane and smiled a little, "Ah well I'm sure 'they're more afraid of us then we are of them'." he said with a bit of a dark tone of humor, he laughed to himself yawning and streching, "you know, your lucky you screamed that loud, otherwise, I wouldn't have woken up."

Lydia laughed slightly at his joke. "Yea.....I suppose." she said and turned her head to one side at his next comment. "So you're a deep sleeper huh?" she said.

Cameo nodded,
"Oh yeah," he yawned a little, "I spend a lot of time sleeping, not much else to do around here though." he smiled a little and then turned to walk away,
"Well, I'm going to look fro something to eat, would the lady like to join me?" he asked looking back to where he could hear her breathing.

"Uhh..sure." she said and sheathed her blade before looking around and walking up beside him. "What do you have in mind?"

Cameo shrugged, "A food of some sort that is edible?" he said unsure really, "I think there is a delley some where a round here." he mumbled, "to bad I can't see it." he sighed and started to walk toward where he remembered it was tapping his cane on the ground in front of him every now and then.

Lydia made a light gasp and put her hands over her mouth. He's blind! she realized. I can't believe I didn't guess he's blind! She cleared her throat a bit and smiled...even though he couldn't see it she put on a cheerful disposition. "Oh yes, I think it's only a few blocks from here right?" she said a bit shyly. Now I get what the cane is for.

Cameo let out of soft sigh as he continued to walk, he could tell from the change in the feel of the air and the shy tone that came over her voice, he closed his eyes and sighed continuing to walk forward stepping over the rocks he found with his cane, "You know, it wouldn't kill you to ask." he said bluntly, "You don't have to act all awkward about it."

Lydia looked over at him with wide eyes. "O-oh...w-well I didn't want to....I mean I just thought it would be rude to ask...." she said, feeling like she had offended him more by not doing so.

Cameo sighed and shrugged, "Just, forget it." he muttered a little annoyed now, he could remember how his friends had acted, treating him like a whole different person, as though the real him had died and was replaced with this delicate blind boy, "Come on your probably hungry anyway." he said trying to change the topic.

Lydia looked down at the ground sadly She knew he was irritated now and she knew it was her who had caused it. "Yea. I'm pretty hungry." she said and thought for a moment. She then looked up at hi. "You know, you're more talented and capable than most boys I've meet." she said, remembering how he had found her and the spider attacking her and had gotten it off her even with the fact he had no sight. "Without you........I'd probably be dead right now."
