 Nyx Solo ~ Kame House student That was actually what she wanted and it was going to work in her favor. Instead of looking panicked, the orange furred cat just grinned as her own kamehameha was redirected back at her. "Eh, maybe a little." admitted Nyx, flying right towards the the blast of energy coming at her. At the last second though, she got out of the way and sort of went into a spin. As she spun, she let her own kamehameha burn off the skin trying to eat away at her body. Having just the right amount of precision, she burned off all of Echo's skin while her own damaged fur and skin suffered minimal if any burn from the energy.
Not a very pleasant smell, fur singed and skin kind of burnt. Nyx ignored it as she dive bombed the majin. "Super Wolf Fang Fist!" called Nyx, once within range she sent blow after blow towards Echo, her hands barely visible now. This attack required no ki though and she was building up for a final blow to this onslaught. She only had so much time to land blows before Echo decided to strike back. Nyx was punching as quickly as possible while she gathered her energy for the final blow.
If he tried to get away or attack her, then that could easily be remedied. If Echo tried moving away she'd go after him with her right fist drawn back. If Echo tried to attack, she'd duck down below real quick before flying back up to deliver the final blow. "Spirit punch!" with the energy of a spirit ball gathered in her fist, she'd deliver a final blow to Echo's head. Either as a straight forward punch if he tried to flee or an uppercut if she dodged down to avoid his counter attack.  That was good the spinning like that in the air to burn off his attack. He wouldn't have thought of that not at least..not at least that fast. But was she trying to kill herself. She had to be. attacking him dead on was a mistake. A mistake that she would live to fear and regret. Was trying to strike at him? really? This would be fun for him at least. As he watched her 'wolf fang fist'. The technique was pretty but it lacked purpose. He only decided to let her get close to him. As he blocked the main attacks. His hands flew fast enough to block the first attacks allowing minor scrapes and cuts so that it seemed like he was getting hurt., the last one was what he was waiting for. The piece to resistance. As she got ready to strike him Echo's head his skin opened up and it would attempt to catch her hand. His eyes appeared in his stomach as a new mouth opened up. Echo looked and he only shook his head. The ki burning through his head of course but now now he had her right were he wanted her. As he pulled his right hand back as far as it could go he would attempt to strike her with his right hand in the face. IF the strike connected the skin would let go hopefully sending her flying. If not the skin would attempt to hang on to his opponent.

Nyx Solo ~ Kame House student Honestly, she might of thought that her attack would hurt him a little bit. For some reason it didn't seem to do a thing. Sure he was strong but was his defense really that good he could just take a super wolf fang fist? It was a little frustrating and confusing to say the least but Nyx was not going to give up.
The finishing attack did not do much either since her hand was not caught in his head. That was fine with her though, this would actually work in her favor. Now with her hand caught he would no doubt try to strike back but she already had a counter attack formed in her mind. With her mouth shut tightly, she started to gather energy as he started to pull his right hand back. Then when he tried to strike she opened up her mouth and fired an energy wave from her mouth. The resulting attack dead on would likely blow up Echo's hand and arm.
"Denied!" grinning now, Nyx flipped herself up so that she was above Echo. It didn't matter if the skin was hanging onto her, the orange furred cat was right in close and could really do some damage. With her hand right inside her head, she could fire off an attack right inside him. She had flipped up and with her free hand on his shoulder, she was doing a sort of handstand. "See how you like this!" If he still had a head then he still had a neck. Although with his head moved, this technically would not be decapitation and death.
"Imprisonment ball!" a sphere of energy formed all around Echo, cutting through his neck and freeing her hand. Didn't matter if there was goo on it, she would have his main body trapped.
If his body was successfully trapped then the orange furred cat would have some fun. First she would kick the sphere around a bit, having fun until she landed her last blow. She would first kick the sphere up and then she would appear right above it, doing a front flip and landing an axe kick on the sphere of energy. The sphere would plummet down to the ground, right next to the remaining half of the ring. There would be an explosion of course but Nyx was absolutely certain the majin would survive. After all, it took a super big, super awesome spirit bomb to finish off kid Buu. Plus the explosion would be toned down since Nyx did not want to hit anyone in the stands. As she blow off his right hand. Ouch. That really hurt and he wasn't prepared to lose this arm. She was really giving him a fight and he couldn't believe how much fun it was. It was to bad that one of their dreams had to end here. He remembered something she did. He smirked to himself inside of his mind. She had been a good opponent. Now it was time for him to start being one back to her. He had a few things memorized that he hadn't had a chance to use. A few things she had taught him in this match as well. He just had to adapt to his style. As she got ready to attack, Echo quickly used Zanzōken appearing to the left of her. As he pointed his free arm towards her. He didn't have to get into a fighting stance for this one. This attack he was saving for somebody else. For the last round but it didn't matter now. He wanted to save his true power for the last round but if he didn't keep his mind up he would be out by the first round. She was going all out so was he. As his right hand let out the Vanishing Ball. The attack was perfect it didn't need any time to charge it didn't even take hesitation. The bright Black Ball swirled towards her at close range. If she was hit by this sphere the attack would have done massive damage. The Vanishing Ball would other wise destroy the ground beneath them. Echo didn't care about destroying the world anymore. If only they had a bit longer to fight he would keep fighting with her. The wind started to blow around him. Now everything would start to come to an end. As he looked at her. Hoping that the Vanishing Ball would be the end of this. If not.. It was time to move to phase 3. "You should stop now.. Or I will have to actually have to hurt you." Echo said blandly. Nyx Solo ~ Kame House student This was a bit of a pain, she blew off his right hand and diabled his right arm pretty much. Then he copied what she did, letting his fake head detach so he could escape her attack. Now she had the goo eating away at the fur and skin of her hand. "Oh come on, this again?" she asked, in a way mimicking what he had said earlier when she had used a kamehameha twice.
Seeing him fire off a large black ball at her, she was sure it was the Death Ball or whatever launched at her. It looked pretty bad so she used instantaneous movement to get out of the way. She was pretty sure the rest of the ring would be destroyed at this point. She only had a couple more instantaneous movements left so she would have to use them sparingly. "Please, if I gave up every time someone said that, I'd be a wimp." said Nyx, charing and firing a ki blast at Echo. It helped burn the skin disease off the hand and it fired a sort of distracting attack at the majin. echo looked up and he started to move his fingers now that he eyed his opponent. He started to move his hands in such a manor that it seemed like music was being played. The wind carried a blissful tune through the air and he only looked as the long black string would attempt to materialize around her. His hands started to glow yellow as he quickly started tom ove his hands more and more. The music started to get louder and louder. He was done playing this game now she could face his true wrath. As he watched a ki blast come towards him, Echo used his eye lasers to override the ki blast. She was good but he came to win it, by any means necessary. The song was rampant. The sound of classical music got louder and louder that even the audience started to cover there ears as Echo only tilted his head. his arm still waiting to regrow but what exactly was he waiting for was the question. Quote: Technique Name: Echo's Song Description: Echo moves his fingers as if playing a piano which accompanied by the sound of piano keys being played. A wire appears and wraps around his intended target. His hand glows with a yellow light and by simple hand movements he plays different notes causing the target to become further constricted by the wire until it is eviscerated by the wire's crushing force. Activation Cost: 500 Ki to use initially.

Nyx Solo ~ Kame House student It was weird hearing the music start to play as it had. It just seemed to come out of nowhere and she had no idea what was up. At least not until she noticed the wire appearing around her. Honestly, what was up with such a gimmicky move? Needless to say that Nyx did not look very impressed with the attack.
While the other was busy blasting her ki attack with his eye lasers and moving his fingers, Nyx was busy thinking up her next move.
The other only had one hand since she blew away his arm and he was already slow as a snail to her. How long would it really take to play the melody perfectly to make his attack successful? As soon as she spotted the wire around her, Nyx flew up higher and out of reach of the wire. "Come on Echo, you can't really think that slow attack would get me, do you?" Nyx called down, not having much fun since that last move had been dull. Time to keep wearing him down.
Nyx went through the movements as if she were going to use another kamehameha. It was a fake out though and at the last second her hands flew up to her face and she called "Solar Flare!" a blinding flash lit up the entire area, blinding any that would see the attack. Not that it mattered much if Echo was blinded or not, if he was then fine but if not that was fine too.
All she needed was a couple of seconds. Placing one hand forward and having her other hand grab it's wrist, she started to focus her power. "Get ready for my Spirit Ball!" A yellow ball of energy formed in her hand and soon she fired it off. Using both the index and middle finger of both hands, she could manipulate the ball of energy. She'd sent it right at Echo and would start controlling it, causing the ball to hit Echo multiple times before ending it with an explosion on the last strike. Echo looked at the ball of ki there was nothing that he could do but let the spirit ball do its damage. She was faster than him. No doubt but he was cunning. As it ripped through the Majins Body eh decided to let it do its complete damage so he wasn't wasting ki he would regenerate his whole body at a whole instead of just his arm. He looked at her full of holes and he only let out a stair. He saw that his melody induced attack wouldn't work. That was fine. The Solar Flare it blinded it him for a moment. However when the smoke cleared Echo was above her one last time. "here's when everything changes." As his body started to feel in the holes. He was now starting to show he was getting a weaker it wasn't instantaneous anymore. His healing was slowing down but he still had plenty of fight inside of him. As he stood above her his fingers started to glow a dark blood red. As he used his ki he threw a large red net down wards. The net started to get larger and larger as it got closer to the ground. However the large net was intertwined with now not only hopefully the audience below him. But his attended Target Nyx. The red net started to glow red inbetween the small holes in the net. Nyx Solo ~ Kame House student Honestly, she had figured it had been too easy to hit the majin with the spirit ball. It did good damage but Echo healed his entire body, even re-growing his arm. That would of been nice to have right now since parts of her skin were hurting where the skin stuff had been. Nyx just had to fight through it though, she had a feeling she was wearing him down. Nyx had wished the other remained blinded a bit longer since she was ready to charge another attack. The other was above her once more and he was obviously getting ready to do something.
"Nah, sorry Echo but even though I can't regenerate I'm still doing pretty good, I plan to go as far as I can in this tournament." Seeing him prepare for an attack, Nyx raised her hand above her own head and started to charge her own attack. A large red net? This guy did not have a lot of offensive techniques. They all seemed sort of... well, she couldn't find the right word for it. They were kind of dull though and Nyx wished her next attack would finish this. Echo was a majin though, nothing could truly kill him aside from a super powerful attack like the spirit bomb, right?
Seeing the net, headed her way, Nyx put in quadruple the power as she quickly formed the attack. While she had been busy forming the technique, she had moved back so the net wouldn't touch her. Being nearer the ground, the Destructo Disk was finally ready. "Take this!" throwing the quadruple powerful Destructo Disk, she cut through the net coming for her. With it cut open, she could fly through and escape while charging her next attack. The Destructo Disk itself would head straight for Echo but she didn't doubt he would easily get out of the way.
Now it was time for her next technique, her upper body bent over a bit as she brought her arms out to the side. After charging her hands and putting in extra power, she straightened up and brought her hands forward. "Double Tsuihikidan!" then she fired two reddish-orange waves of energy at Echo, triple the power so they wouldn't just be so easily blown away. They were locked on him and would follow him like homing missiles. Best of all, they wouldn't take an incredible amount of concentration to follow Echo now that they were locked on. "End the match Echo or my attack's gonna hurt!" she called, knowing this was a powerful attack. The majin was weakened so this would be unpleasant. This match has been called due to time! After reviewing the match, I feel this was a very close match as both the contestants did very well and made this a hard match to call. After much thought and reading I give this match to Echo! Let us not forget this battle as it was one of the most intense this tournament, congratulations Contestant Echo, and thank you for showing us your skill and determination Contestant Nyx.
Winner: Echo
Moves on to the next round.
