Auri thinks about it, "I don't think I've met anyone with horns like yours, though I've met a few with beads. But I would surely remember eyes as lovely as yours and I havn't seen their like before." He wasn't flirting, he assured himself, but her eyes were rather lovely. Besides, it never hurt to give someone a complement that would help them feel good about themselves. "I'm sorry I can't help you any more than that. But I will watch for someone who could be your father."

"It's alright" she replied back. She had been searching for a while now, she wasn't disappointed for she was actually expecting a response like that. All others she had asked had replied the same thing. Maybe she had no father, then again if she had no father where did she come from.
"If you want I can show you where that river was." the mare spoke once more this time trying to get her mind off of her own mulling thoughts.

Auri nodded, "That would be nice. If it won't take you too far out of your way. I wouldn't want to delay you on your search."
He wished there was something more he could do for the mare, some way to help her find her father. Actually, with as many Soquili as ended up seperated from family, it was too bad there wasn't a better way to communicate and find who you were looking for. Of course, there wasn't something like that. Maybe, if he thought on it long enough, Auri could come up with something. Maybe messenger birds?

"Don't worry, it won't. Maybe something interesting will happen on the way. Like maybe we could see a ghost...but then again ghosts don't usually come out until the night time. Or so I'm told." She replied back to him and then turned towards the direction she had originally come from. Softly humming as she went. Her tail gave a soft flick as she invited him to follow.

Auri was puzzled at that. "A ghost? I've never actually seen a ghost, but I'd imagine if there was one to see, it wouldn't be a friendly ghost. All the stories I've heard indicate they only show themselves when they want something and usually that something isn't nice. Why would you want to meet a ghost?" He followed along, happy for a guide but wondering at this strange mare.

"You don't know, there could be friendly ghosts." She replied back to him. "Stories aren't anything unless you confirm it yourself." There was a bit of a pause as she went back to humming her tail swishing behind her. Finally she replied back to his final question. "Well I'd like to be friend one, besides a ghost would have numerous stories to be told and I'd like to hear them. I am an adventurer after all. Maybe they've been to places I have yet been to. Maybe they have a suggestion on where I should go explore first, and maybe they have a clue where my father is. Ghosts are interesting." She seemed to find the positive in everything.

Auri shrugs. "I suppose. It just seems . . . odd. Maybe they do have answers. But what would they want in return?" He was sure a ghost would want something. Otherwise wouldn't it be off in some idyllic spirit field of clover or something, enjoying the after life?
