Rio quickly pulled his hand away from the bird when she snapped at him. Kai laughed and said, "Haha! Nice job Blue~" then he walked out of the room, and said over his shoulder, "I like her... seems like I made a new friend today." Rio pouted and followed his brother and said, "I didn't think she would actually try to bite me..." then his twin replied, "Maybe next time you should be nice to her... or at least remember what Master says. He did tell us she bites." Rio rolled his eyes and then the two went through the house looking at things. Kai noticed the door to Malcom's study and said, "Despite the fact he told us not to go in... You have to wonder what is in there..." then Rio shrugged his shoulders and said, "Who cares?"

"you would like to know wouldn't you?" Malcom stepped out his study,quickly closing the door behind him. "Don't get too curious,boys" He smiled and disappeared downstairs.

Rio smiled and said, "Curiousity is hard to control." Kai shook his head and said, "Try to at least follow one rule would you?" despite his words, he knew his brother wouldn't listen. "Try not to ruin this one. I don't want to be sent back to the slave shop like always." Rio glared at his brother and said, "Sounds like your saying it's my fault." He walked to his brother's side and sighed, annoyed with Kai now. "That's because 90% of the time it is your fault."

Malcom chuckled to himself. He knew sooner or later one of the boys would go into the study. "Curiousity killed the cat." He went into the kitchen to start dinner. Isaac lay in floor. "what have i told you about the kitchen?" The dog rolled over and whined. Malcom looked through the fridge. "i feel like roast today. what you think boy?" The dog barked. "Whatever. By the way have you seen Sin? I have no idea where that snake is. Hate to have him bite my new pets." Malcom started dinner. Cooking was his little passion and the only time he didn't smoke. "I'm sure he'll turn up. Go play Isaac." The dog whined but wandered out the kitchen. Malcom went back to cooking. Soon the smell of roast and vegatables flowed through the house.

Rio pouted angrily and said, "What? It's not my fault most of our masters are wim- oh my god something smells good..." he stopped in the middle of his sentence to sniff the air, almost drooling over the good smell of food. Kai sniffed the air too and said, "Yeah... smells really good..." then Kai noticed the dog and said, "Hey check it out. A dog~" he walked over to it and asked it, "You don't mind if I pet you do you boy?" then he rubbed the dog happily, scratching it gently behind the ears. Rio laughed and said, "Of course you'd like the dog. Your too soft Kai." but his brother ignored him and kept talking to the dog as if though it were a human.

Isaac was more than happy with his new friend. He licked Kai's face and barked. "hush boy!"Malcom called from the kitchen. He poured alittle white wine over the meat and went back to his stir-fry. Pouring in spice after spice to increase the smell.

Rio sat down near his brother and watched him pet the dog. Kai hugged the dog gently and said, "sorry if i got you in trouble... does master not like you barking loudly?" then he rubbed the dog's head and said "I've never pet a dog before... they are so soft~" then he looked at Rio, "You never liked dogs did you? Since we had that Inu master, right?" Rio nodded and said, "My only fear... dogs. Although this one does seem nice... Hope the dog doesn't mind me not petting him..." Kai smiled, loving the fact he knew his brother was afraid of something, since most of the time he seemed fearless. Rio sniffed the air and almost fell over from the smell. "Man... if that smell gets any stronger I might die... It smells too good..."

Isaac whined and rolled over for his belly to be scratched. He was nothing but a big baby and loved nothing more than attesion. Malcom was finshing up his cooking. The roast needed some more minutes which gave him enough time to finsh his dessert. Strawberry and Vanilla cake,his own personal favorite since he was a child. "looks like i'm out of frosting,"he muttered as he close the fridge. "Guess we'll have cake without it.."

Kai happily rubbed and scratched the dog's belly as Rio watched. Rio sighed and reach over to the dog and patted its head then moved back, still slighty afraid of the dog. Kai laughed and said, "Well at least you can now say you pet a dog." then Rio said, "Didn't master say he has a snake too? Would be a little freaky to wake up hugging that thing..." Kai shivered at the thought and said, "I bet you'd wet you bed if that happened to you." then his brother replied, "Your one to talk! You'd cry probably!" then the two laughed and Kai continued to pet the dog, and scratch it's stomach.

Malcom put the last finishing touchs on his roast. Another splash of white wine and it was done. "if you plan on eating you have 15 seconds to be in here!" he called as he set out dinner. stir-fried vegables, roast and cake.

Rio stood up and quickly went into the kitchen. Kai rubbed the dog's head one last time and followed his brother. Rio smiled and said, "Did we make the time limit?" Then Kai elbowed his twin and said, "Shut up."

Rio sat down and took a bite of his food, eager to eat the food that smelt so good. Kai laughed and sat down next to his brother and ate his food as well, just not shoveling the food into his mouth like his twin was doing. When Kai swallowed he smiled and said, "Wow... this tastes awesome."

Rio nodded, his mouth stuffed with food. Kai turned his head and said, "Calm down Rio... the food isn't going to run away from you... take you time... you act like it's gonna sprout legs and run away..." then he took another bite of his food. Rio swallowed his mouth full of food and said, "You don't know if food can run away. You've never seen it. So it's impossible to say it won't because you've never seen any proof it won't." then he ate more food from his plate.
