"Big brother, big brother! We're here! Aren't you excited?! Aroha said as Demitri and herself stopped in front of the villa. She wore a large grin on her face. "This is so exciting! We finally get to meet our mom!"
"Yeah, it is pretty exciting, Roro. I hope she likes us..." Demitri said meekly. He smiled at her. "Shall we go in?" The cherub knocked on the door slowly.
"Ah yes! I'm coming!" A voice answered the knocking. Footsteps grew louder; the door was thrown open to see a black-haired girl with a brown shirt on. She gave the twins a happy smile and gestured to them. "Won't you come in?"
Aroha and Demitri nodded to each other and flew in. "It's nice to bring in more children! I'm sure you'll feel welcome here! You can meet the others later. For now, why don't you go find your rooms. Yuri will show you the way." Yume pointed to the kitsune, who curtly nodded at Yume and started down the hall. The twins followed the fox with Yume behind them.
They climbed a few stairs (the twins wondered how big the house really was), and finally got to their rooms. Yume took a key from her pocket and unlocked the door. Inside were two twin sized beds with beautiful sheets. Perpendicular to the beds were 2 dressers, plus a large mirror. In the middle of the beds, propped up against the wall, was a small shelf and a card that, when opened, said 'Welcome to your new home Aroha and Demitri!' It was signed by everyone in the house. And of course, like almost all the bedrooms, a lovely window was near Aroha's bed, with a very pretty view of the countryside.
Aroha smiled happily as she surveyed the room. Deimitri looked at the room with interest. "Hope you like the rooms! I'll see you two later!" Yume said. She set a pair of keys on the dresser, gave them another smile and left the room.
"Wow! Lookit this room! It's so pretty!" Aroha exclaimed. She went over to her bed and layed in it, sighing contently.
"Indeed. It looks very nice." Demitri coyd his sister and layed down on top of his bed. "Ithink I'm gonna like it here." Aroha nodded, giving him a pretty smile.

Marco's Journal Entry I dreamt about her again last night. She haunts my dreams now. I can't seem to get her out of my head.
I have been accustomed to her voice now. She lingers in my dreams everynight. I want to know who she is.
And yet I don't want to. Why? Because it will take the fun out of the surpirse waiting for me. But why do I want to be surprised? I don't know, maybe I'm just weird like that.
Anyway, yesterday, our family took in 2 more Tahnee children. Cherub twins, infact: Aroha and Demitri. They are both very cute indeed. Aroha is a little agressive and Demitri is a bit shy. Almost like my friend Pesdic.
Speaking of him, I haven't seen him since Mr. and Mrs. Love's wedding. He hid from me at the wedding, do I scare him? I hope not, he is the only friend I have (Ky's my friend too, but he's family). I must try and see him once again.
Sincerely, Marco
P.S.: Exile is less grumpy than before. He is still antisocial, but I wonder what has moved him...

Ray's Journal Entry Wow, my first journal entry. It's pretty exciting, really. A few days ago, I moved into this house. A young-looking lady greeted me, showed me my room and gave me a journal. She is very nice and she wants me to call her 'Mom' or 'Yume'. Yume means dream, doesn't it?
I also met my new siblings. They are quite eccentric, especially Miss Aroha. She kept poking me while I was eating. Good thing her brother (or should I say my brother, we are family now) stopped her before I yelled for Miss Yume. Miss Farore is interesting; she likes to build things. I think Miss Yume told me Miss Farore's the one who built the new coffee table. Amazing.
Miss Lorelia is very nice and pretty, she sings quite good. If only she wasn't so shy, she could sing her songs to everyone. Exile...well, let's just say he scares me. A lot. Miss Yume told me he's a banished demon from Hell and that I shouldn't worry about getting hurt by him. But I have a feeling I'll be afraid of him anyway. Miss Lorelia and Exile seem to get along, somewhat. He acts more gentlemanlike when he's around her. I wonder why.
It's getting late. I'll write about Marco and Kyrielle some other time.

(Written a few weeks after Jiza's arrival) Lorelia's Journal Entry I have accquired many younger brothers and sisters, all of them very nice. Exile says they're annoying, but I find them all very nice and good for company. Although, one of them I have recently found out is older than me. Her name is Jizabel, a cat Tahnee. She always sneaks out of her room at night, and doesn't eat anything Mom serves. Infact, I think almost everyone in the family is afraid of her habits. Her forte, she tells us, is firearms and poisons and Farore has even agreed to build a shooting range for her. She doesn't frighten me though.
But from observation, I think she hates me. She always inches away from me (I sat next to her in our house's library), or glaring at me with those lilac eyes of her's. We do talk, of course, about many things. Like music, astrology, but especially music and how it's changed over the centuries. Jizabel likes singing in different languages, some that I didn't even know existed. She truly is a very mysterious person. She told me there were many languages I would never know of because some are them are dead or cursed. I've never heard of cursed languages.
Jizabel has such a calm and quiet air, different from me. We're both quiet, but I'm more on the shy side while she's more on the scretive side. She's much more wiser than Kyrielle is, and a lot more graceful (duh Lore, she's a cat) than I'll ever be. But she also looks very lonely and sad sometimes. I saw her practicing her shooting once. She told me it calms her down and relieves her of stress. I know I won't be able to calm down from shooting a tree, much less hold a gun right. Anyway, Jizabel really intrigues me. Maybe more than I want her to.

An Intelligent Conversation Between Girls - Jizabel and KyadaGreen: Kyada Purple: Jizabel She sat alone, her blue eyes gazing up towards nothing in particular at all. Someone had told her that there was some kind of special event going on at the Tahnee Orphanage, the two year anniversary or some such thing. Kyada didn't particularily care for spending her time with other Tahnees, but she did like the excuse to get out of the house, if nothing else. However, now that she had been sitting alone for quite some time, she kind of wished someone would come along, if only so she would have someone to talk to.
She wound her fingers in the grass, before running her hand over it, enjoying the feel of the smooth turf beneath her fingers.
"It's a very beautiful day," she murmered, smiling faintly, before sighing, and leaning back against a tree.
Jizabel's walked into the orphanage with gracefulness and stealth only attained by dancers and such. But Jiza was no dancer of any sort. Infact, one could say she was far from one. Her cat instincts told her to check her surroundings, just in case. But of what, exactly? Nothing really, Jiza was paranoid at times. She silently walked over to the refeshments and got herself some water, then went outside of the building to have some much-needed air.
Jiza heard Kyada's comment, and nodded. "Yes, very lovely indeed." She said, talking a sip from her bottle of water.
Kyada's attention was drawn to a female cat tahnee who had just exited the Orphanage. Kyada raised an eyebrow, her dog instincts at first wanting to growl at the approaching female, but Kyada knew much better than that, and cast them aside by offering the other a friendly smile.
"Indeed," she murmered, "So what brings you to the Orphanage today? I can't say I've seen you here before... But then again, I'm not here very often at all myself,"
She laughed softly, putting her hands to her lips, before shaking her head.
"I don't get out anywhere near as often as I would like," she mused outloud.
Jiza fought back the urge to smirk, and gave the dog girl a friendly smile; her brain was telling her right now to hiss at the girl, but she had diginity and self-control. She walked over to Kyada and offered a polite handshake. Unusual to some, her hand was very cold, so grasping it would be like holding a glass full of ice.
"Very nice to meet you, I'm new around here. My name is Jizabel, and you are?"
Kyada took the other's hand into her own, giving it a polite, but brisk shake. Her eyes widened at the other's cold touch, and she blinked in confusion.
"You have very cold hands!" she exclaimed, drawing hers back slowly, before blushing, and shaking her head, "I mean no disrespect- but miss Jizabel, your hands are freezing!"
She blinked again as a set of Tahnees went flying past, and she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Children her mind scolded, before she returned her attention back to Jizabel.
"My name is Kyada. It is a pleasure to meet you," she smiled.
"Really? I've never really noticed, Miss Kyada. You're the first to tell me this, and I don't take it offensively." She placed her hands in her jacket pocket before frowning at the sight of the set of tahnees flying past them. Her lilac eyes narrowed slightly. "They really should be more careful, or else they'll get hurt."
Kyada laughed softly, offering the other a bemused smile, before shaking her head a bit.
"I doubt cold hands is anything to worry about," she grinned.
She nodded in agreement at what the cat tahnee said about the reckless young tahnees, and sighed.
"Yes, they should, but once they get hurt they might learn from their mistakes," she murmered, "Would you like to sit down? The grass is very nice and soft, and it's warm too. Definitaly a good day just to bask in the outdoors,"
Jiza nodded and silently sat on the ground next to Kyada. "That's true; if you don't make mistakes, then you'll never learn how to fix them and move on." She pulled a small blade of grass and twirled it around with her fingers. After a few seconds of studying it, she blew it out of her hand and looked over at Kyada.
"The outdoors are very beautiful, but I like to stay inside on the really hot and stuffy days."
"Mnn.. It's a good thing today is just warm and breezy then," Kyada laughed.
Despite the fact that they were a cat and a dog, Kyada found herself liking the other's prescence. Which for the usually foul tempered dog found found rather surprising. Jizabel was calm, and collected, like herself, and she also liked the outdoors. Perhaps they had more in common, Kyada thought. Or rather, she hoped. She hadn't really any friends at Dragonfly's house, and overall, kept to herself. It would be nice to have someone to talk to more often.
"Indeed" Jiza said, smiling softly at the cool breeze. She put aside the differefence in species animal-wise, and began to see Kyada has a very nice and overall good person. The only person she had gotten a chane to talk with before she came to the orphanage was Yume, but it was only over a phone.
'We might have something in common.' She thought. Although she highly doubted Kyada would think collecting exotic poisons was very interesting. She would just have to leave that part out until they got to know each other more. "So, what kind of things are you into, Miss Kyada?"
Kyada opened her mouth to answer Jizabel, when she realized that someone else had walked towards them. Kyada looked over to Fred, and frowned slightly, before rolling her eyes a little, and looking back towards Jizabel.
It wasn't that Kyada was trying to be rude to Fred, it was just that around men, Kyada wasn't a very social person. The only man who's company she particularily enjoyed was Marcus's, and he did not return the sentiment, so she didn't spend very much time around the male persausion.
"Well. I love collecting and pressing exotic flowers. It's interesting, because some of them are poisonous, and you have to handle them very carefully," she smiled idly, "I wouldn't particularily ever want to poison anyone, but it's interesting to have them around. They're hard to get a hold of, however," She sighed as she thought of this predicament, and shook her head, "But they're so beautiful! It's worth it in the end. Some day I'd like to go to the rainforest, and walk through and take pictures of the exotic flowers there,"
Jiza smiled sweetly at the mentioning of poisonous flowers. She liked flowers herself, especially primrose and roses. But poisonous flowers, to her, were more challenging and very...useful in some cases. Sounds like a lovely hobby, I hope you are able to do that very soon. Flowers are very lovely and beautiful, but you have to be very gentle with them or else they will be damaged." She asnwered.
Kyada seemed to chose to ignore Fred for a few moments, before sighing and turning her gaze towards him.
"I am doing well. Enjoying the beautiful day," she murmered, before returning to Jizabel.
"Yes, flowers are very delicate things," she smiled, her blue eyes sparkling, "But their beauty is matched by very few things," she mused. She decided to pose the other's question as one of her own, asking, "How about you Jiza? May I call you that? What kind of things do you enjoy?"
Jizabel silently gave Fred a acknowleging nod, then turned back to Kyada. It took a few seconds before she let the other girl's questions sink in. If she was going to be her friend, Kyada was going to have to know her very unusual hobby. She took a deep breath, exhaled and answered calmly, "I collect exotic poisons, but I also like to sing in different languages. It calms me down a lot, the singing part I mean. Poison collecting is just something I enjoy. And you may call me Jiza." There, she had said it. The only thing she was worried about was Kyada's reaction. Would she look at her crazy or accpet it?
Kyada was mildly surprised by the revelation of the other's- albeit, strange- hobby, and she raised an eyebrow.
"Oh really?" she murmered, before laughing good naturdly, "Marcus, one of my mother's other children has an afinity for baking poison into cookies. You have to be careful what you injest of his," she smiled brightly, obviously not thinking of the other as insane at all.
"It's definitaly a different hobby, and one most people would be afraid of you for," she murmered, being perfectly honest with the other, "but you still seem like a good person to me, and it's an interesting quirk,"
She smiled acceptingly.
"Singing in other languages eh? I've listened to music in other languages- but I can't say I understand it. It does sound nice though," she smiled.
Jiza gave off a dazzling, yet small smile. That was good to hear, that she wasn't the only one who liked poisons. "Baking poisons into cookies? That's very original!" She laughed, then paused to give Kyada another smile. This one, however, seemed more genuine.
"I...I know that, people can be scared of dangerous things. I thought you would be a bit frightened that I collected poisons. But you aren't, as I can plainly see. That's very relieving. Thank you very much, Kyada." The smile grew bigger at the mention of her other hobby.
"Yes, I really like singing in the more less-known languages, like Romanian and languages that people have forgetten over the centuries."
Kyada positively beamed at the cat Tahnee, clapping her hands togethor.
"Sometimes people forget that everyone is an original, and just because a person's hobby seems odd, or unaccepted doesn't make that person a psychopath, or anything like that- granted some people ARE just generally psychopaths..." she pursed her lips, before shaking her head, "What I mean to say is that it's the little things like that that make you who you are, and I think it makes you an interesting person,"
She smiled brightly, having fallen silent to listen to what more the other had to say.
"I love listening to latin. Spoken, sung, anything. It's a beautiful language," she murmered.
"You're right. That makes perfect sense. There are people who focus too much on thw big picture to take notice to the smaller, more important details of the person place or thing. They lose sight of what makes that person, place or thing important, special." She said, plucking another blade of grass and twirling it with her fingers.
"Latin and Spanish are both lovely, but my favourite language would have to be plain English. Much easier and sometimes easier to understand for people who know it."
Kyada was close to gleeful on the other's outlook of things. She couldn't help but continue to beam, as she shared the other's opinions and views, and thoroughly enjoyed the other's company.
"How true," she agreed, nodding her head.
She lifted a hand, running her fingers through her long hair, before leaning back to rest more comfortably against the tree.
"Haha. English is fine if you already know it. But as far as I understand it's very hard to learn,"
Jiza was very intrigued by Kyada's outlook on these things, and also very impressed. It had been a long time sicne she met had a an actual intelligent conversation with someone who looked to be her age. Jiza could already deduce that Kyada was a very intelligent girl, regardless of her age. She blew the blade of grass out of her hand and played with the ends of her black and purple hair.
"Yes, it seems to be harder for someone who doesn't speak English to learn than it is for someone else trying to learn a different language."
As an intellectual, Kyada couldn't help but enjoy the stimulating convorsation the two were sharing, and Kyada could feel a bond of friendship fastening between the two. She grinned inwardly at this, before focusing herself back on the convorsation.
"I'd like to learn another language. I don't know which one- they all seem very interesting to me. German, it's a very gutteral language don't you think? But interesting none the less. And Mandarin is very complex! And then there's the languages of love- French, Spanish and Latin... Ooh~ I'd just love to learn them all!" she giggled, which was a rare thing for Kyada.
Jiza chuckled at Kyada's enthusiam on languages. "I know Spanish, Italian, a little Russian and some Pig Latin. German seems like a very interesting, yet challenging language, as well as Mandarin and Chinese. Those I haven't learned of yet, but I want to." She said with a smile.
Kyada was very impressed by the other's knowledge, and the expression on her face showed this.
"You know a lot more languages than I do!" she smiled, "I only know a few phrases in french, and some drow curse words. My mother- she's a dark elf, and the only time she ever speaks in Drow is when she's cursing- so you can pretty much draw the conclusion of what the words are..."
Kyada laughed sheepishly.
Jiza laughed at both Kyada's expression and what she was being told. It made her even more interesting and enjoyable to be near. Jiza had a great feeling that their friendship was going to last, even if Kyada could accept Jiza's other hobby, more unusual than her poison collecting hobby. 'If' being the key word.
"Well, at least you have the pleasure of guessing what words she uses. Drow's an interesting language, and so is Elven. I wish I had someone who could teach me."
Kyada laughed lightly, her eyes sliding shut as she enjoyed being in the other's prescence. She tilted her head up towards the sky a bit, absorbing the feeling of the sun washing over her skin, before perking up her ears, and opening her eyes again.
"It is interesting to guess, but at the same time I never want it to be me that she's swearing at," she grinned, laughing, "Though, Dee hasn't ever sworn at us kids. She gets angry, sure, but she's never like that. Mostly she curses when she does stupid things- like stubbing her toe and such. Dragonfly is pretty clumsy now. She wasn't before she went blind in one eye though,"
Kyada shrugged a little, her smile fading as she thought of her mother's plight.
Jiza's ears twitched nervously at the feeling that she hit a weak spot. "Your mother sounds like a great person to be around. And I'm sorry about her getting blind in her eye." Jiza really felt it was time to lighten the mood, so she decided to change the subject around.
"I've been told my mother's done expiriments on herself, and is currently a rabbit of some sort. She told me over the phone that she's trying to find a way to convert herself back to normal. She's already been part feline, butterfly and fox." Jiza chuckled, the nervous twitch in her ears stopping.
"I love my mother very much," Kyada smiled, "Someday maybe I'll introduce you to her,"
She noticed the other's ears twitching, and she too decided that the current convorsation was a little uncomfortable, and was glad when the other changed the subject, and proceeded to make the air a little less uncomfortable for the both of them. Kyada really hadn't meant to make Jiza feel uncomfortable, but she had accidentally.
"A rabbit?" Kyada blinked, and couldn't help but giggle just a little, "Oh my. That does sound like quite an interesting life for you!"
"That would be lovely." Jiza said with a smile. She still felt a tad bit uncomfortable, but still not as much as she felt before.
Jiza laughed. "Yes, a rabbit; she has furry white ears growing from her head, and is now growing a liking to carrots. It was absolutely funny meeting her for the first time. And she told she had a large family, so it will indeed be a very interesting life." Jiza said as she played her tail ring. She had completely forgetten that Kyada was a dog tahnee and that she herself was a cat tahnee. This amused her and chuckled lightly on the matter.
Kyada too, no longer cared about the cat/dog relationship. After all, just because they were different species didn't at all mean they couldn't be friends! And besides, Kyada found Jizabel a very ineresting intellectual tahnee, and because of this she could easily look past the differances between them.
She giggled at what the other spoke about her parents, and she couldn't help but grin. Her tail wagged slightly behind her, and she nodded her head in amusement.
"I can only imagine what that must have been like!" she laughed.
"It's going to be pretty hectic, I'm pretty sure of that." Jiza said, laying down on the cool grass. Kyada was such an interesting being, and was going to be a great friend. She sighed contently, and let the wind blow over her.
(And that's where it ends ^^)

(In which Jizabel talks about her life in the house, Exile's observations, the house itself, and Lorelia) Jiza's Journal Entry It's been a few months since I've moved in Yume, and I have to admit, this place has a sort serene atmosphere. Even if there is many people in this house, they all seem to just keep to themselves, save for a few people.
Although, being watched over by Exile is more or less annoying. Exile is an exiled (hence the name) demon from hell, and is rumored to have a sister in another person's care. But it seems that he is more stonger and eviler than she is. Right now, that man is keeping a close eye on me. Guess he doesn't trust a woman who knows her way around poisons. It doesn't matter to me. I wouldn't poison anyone in this family of mine unless there's a damn good reason for it.
Moving onto another subject: the house. How big is it anyway? Whenever I ask Menou or Yume they just laugh at me and say "It's big". No. This house isn't just "big", this house feel likes it's enchanted with something. I find undiscovered room almost everyday, rooms that somehow fit in with some of my hobbies. Why, just a few days ago, I found a small section in the house's library with shelves full of books on the history of poison and how to use it correctly. Another day, I found an actual shooting range on the 3rd floor. Somehow, this house has studied my hobbies and likes, then made rooms where I can enjoy them. Interesting.
Speaking of interesting, Lorelia certainly intrigues me. I do like, but I have the real strong urge not to, like it wouldn't feel right if I did. Some days I feel like talking to her about anything, other days I feel like pushing out of the 6th floor window. Nonetheless, my younger kin has the same interest in music as me, which makes me like her. I have heard her sing (in varies places in the house), and it is beautiful in ways that no one could ever understand. I told her I heard her sing once, and she asked me if she would ever hear me sing. Most likely not in this house, I told her. Too many witnesses, other than herself.
Anyway, it seems that Lorelia has caught a cold, and Yume and I have been put in change to find a cure. Even as I write this now, a part of me wishes she'd get better, while the other yearns for her death. But it's only a mere cold, so she won't die of it. I must go now, because it is also my turn to tend to Lorelia. I think she wants some hot chocolate now.
