Lily gave a grin, "yeah, I am sure it will. It either had something to do with music or homework. I'm hoping music because I would hate to forget something like homework in senior year."
She leaned against the lean lightly and made a frowning face at Nate as he mock insulted her. "I do not have to think about the music, thank you very much and beside if I need to remember it will be on a paper in front of me. Which reminds me, any luck with your ability to decifer said paper."
Lily was talking about the sheet music, the sheet music she bought and gave to Nate. The same sheet music, he probably did not look at and probably did not even know where it was.
At the moment she spotted something behind the desk which had her turning fully around and looking down at a corgi? There was a dog in the library. "I did not think dogs were allowed in the library," she mumbled before greeting the dog. "Hi puppy."

Tony chuckled and nodded his head.
"I suppose that is a common problem for seniors. Or so I hear," he chuckled. Nate glared at him, thinking once again that the man was taking digs at him. But it really didn't matter what Tony said: Nathan would always find something wrong with it.
Nate also had to frown at Lily for revealing his inability, though it was getting better now he had to admit, to read sheet music. Tony looked surprised, looking at his son. He would offer to help him learn, but reconsidered it before the words left his mouth.
It would just be better to avoid the hassle.
"I dunno," Nate grumbled, shrugging his shoulders. "The truly skilled and awesome don't need music to be written down for them."
"Oh, that's my dog," Tony said, when Lily noticed Dogby, "she seems to have been adopted by the library, as well. They won't let me come in without her now. Her name is Dogby." He laughed, watching as Dogby waggled her stump of a tail and looked like she very much wanted some pets.

Lily turned to Tony and grinned, "yes I bet you are simply swamped with seniors all the time. The year is flying by and senior project will be handed out soon. I am betting I will have to come here a lot. The library in my house is not so big as this, obviously."
Lily looked to Nate having no idea he wasn't in school, "I guess you lucky huh, your dad works here. You can just get to bring you your books home. My dad is too busy for that he is always away on business. I rarely ever see him anymore."
Lily knew this was partially her fault, school, practice, being a senshi, and trying to have free time, well lets just say her free time was limited if any at all.
She looked back to the dog, "Dogby huh, very cute. Much bigger than my Eamon'. He is a golden retriever. I got him from the pound I volunteer at."
She turned back around to Nate, "You got me there I guess, playing music by ear was a skill I gained later in life and one I do not use very often." She blushed slightly, but hey everyone was better at something than someone else.
Her stomach growled loudly and her face lit up like a tomato, "guess I getting hungry," she mumbled.
She looked to Nate, "Want to get lunch," she asked before turning to Tony, "that is of course if you do not mind."

"I would be very surprised, and a bit worried, if you had a library as big as this one at your house," he said, looking around and wondering just what kind of a house would have three floors worth of books in it. Though he sometimes slept on the couch here, mostly by accident when working too late, he didn't think that counted.
Both Darrows got a bit tense when she commented on Nate getting his books brought to him. It would be a good idea, of course, if Nate bothered with school. But he didn't, and both Tony and Nathan were avoiding looking at each other when the topic came up.
The little corgi puppy watched Lily with wide eyes, tongue lulling out the side of her mouth as she sat with what Tony considered amazing patience. Usually she was licking and bouncing on her stumpy legs by now, begging for more attention.
When Lily offered to take Nate out of the place he opted to answer for her.
"No, I don't mind at all, go ahead and go, Nate," he looked at the grumpy teenager, who was giving him a scowl. But he couldn't argue that he wanted to get away from the library, and the librarian, as well.
"Yeah, fine."

"Oh, great," she said as her stomach growled once more. She looked to Dogby and smiled, "goodbye sweetie, maybe one day you can meet Eamon', he's a big old lump a yellow fur."
Lily grinned an turned to head out of the library, "See you later Mr. Darrow ... er Tony, bring you something back, okay?"
She did not wait for an answer instead looking to Nate, "What do you feel in the mood for," she asked heading out the door.
