She followed him down the path, stumbling a few times but keeping a steady hold on the grass that filled her mouth. No way was she going to go through all this again. As it was she was pretty sure she'd swallowed a bug. Once they made it back into the cave she spat out the grass where he'd lain down the leaves. At the laughs that echoed around the cave she scowled, turning to bare her teeth at anyone that might be looking in her direction. She was not here by choice, and she wanted that to be understood!

It was probably a stupid thing to have done, but, well, her whole life had gone topsy-turvy in the past few hours.

Oh, how she yearned to strike him, but he did have a point. He acted so strange at times, confusing. He'd yet to actually strike her, but she did his bidding like any good slave would. There were times when he spoke with such cocky self-assurance, and yet... there had been that one moment where his tone had taken on a harsher, anguished sound.

What was he hiding? Sitaki was certain that she was on the right track with that assumption.

With a scowl on her face the entire time she carelessly moved around the grass and leaves that made up the shape of his bed. "You do not need to protect me," she hissed under her breath, a whisper that only he could hear. "I will kill you all."
