I think he's going either the Vickie Guerrero route of being a heel manager or general heel character, or the Raw GM to capitalise on his new found unpopularity! wouldn't bet on it. they change the idea every week of who the gm is. first it was rock, then HBK, then HHH, then Abraham Washington, then Michael Cole, then Bret Hart, then Mick Foley (yeah, funny right), then back to HBK and the Rock. also Vicki was mentioned, trish has been mentioned, austin has definitely been mentioned. last person was vince mcmahon himself. frankly cole doesn't make sense as GM because the GM is not completely heel. he can be, but that's why it made more sense for HBK, Austin, or the Rock to be GM. because he was an a*****e mainly to cena At this point Cole seems like the only real option as people like Trish and HBK are only around to hype Wrestlemania. trish was really there for Tough Enough, so she'll be around after mania. cole still doesn't make sense. he's complete heel right now. the gm makes some heel calls, but more babyface calls. HHH is still a legitimate decision, since he's not wrestling full time. Bret could work, if he'd be willing to do it. they'll probably go with vince though Going with Vince wouldn't make sense to me, his character has no need to hide behind a computer. Nor does anyone else other than Cole, as he is portrayed as a coward. well the role was originally for the rock, so it made sense since the rock couldn't show up at all at the time. and last meeting they said vince was just going with himself. he has been out of action for a while with a storyline coma he goes in and out of. either way, another heel gm is not needed at this point. they just need to make someone gm and keep them, someone that has the staying power that teddy long has. not too long ago, someone suggested letting teddy go, but he kept his job because fans legitimately like him Never heard this one about Long nearly being released, when was this? Why?

Why? sometime last year. for some reason the higher ups just wanted to let him go. remember the storyline with him and vicki and who the real gm was, when vince kept questioning every decision teddy made? that time period is when they were talking about it. but apparently teddy gets the live crowds worked up before the shows and is really well liked, so vince let him stay on and ousted vicki

It's a little thing like a Face GM that makes Smackdown.....a tiny bit different to Raw these days! xd
