Tsukiko and Ryuu had been watching the twins' talking to Hemming and both laughed at the twins.
"They'll never change, will they?"
Ryuu looked over at Tsukiko who just grinned.
"No, probably not."
Tsukiko paused before walking over to the twins and picking Hikaru up, swinging him around.
"Long time no see, kid~"
Ryuu sighed at his friend's antics and wandered over to the group.
"Tsu, please. Put Min- I mean Hikaru down."
The white-haired man gave a small nod to Hemming, the older man and Takara.

"Hemming. I just want to say both me and Tsu are right behind you in all this. Also Miss Takara? May I have a word?"

Takara turned to face her alpha, bemused by his sudden announcement to her. The revelation left her a little stumped, and as she glanced at the mass of werewolves, a little overwhelmed. "But Tsu..." she started, then stopped as she knew she wasnt going to change his mind. Soft and gentle he was (inside)- weak he was not. He would stand his ground and fight for what he believed in. Takara admired that in him...as well as alot of other features...including that glint in his eye that joined along so nicely with the compliment that made her all too female heart flutter.

Takara turned to a new voice, she hadn't met this man before...or not that she recognised. The polite male had wanted to speak with her, so she steered him away a little with her arm hovering behind him, then paused and looked down to meet his gaze (since her werewolf form is most likely taller than Ryuu). "Hello, how may I help you?" she greeted gently.

The ancient man, who was wearing a torn up crimson jacket followed Tsukiko, who was currently in his human form, away from the others.
He tapped the hilt of the large sword that he was carrying on his back.
"It's nearly time Tsukiko"
He looked up at the moon in the sky, which covered the Earth with sliver moonlight.

Tsukiko nodded absently-mindedly to the twins, his face once more deadpan; with the new jagged scar on his face - a set of three slash marks running from his bottom jaw down his throat - the alpha werewolf looked even more imposing. He didn't mean to be rude, but his mind was on so many things at once that he often couldn't concentrate on any one thing for a length of time. He registered that they planned to join his field medics, but he didn't return the hug gesture. The male werewolf also noted Tsu and Ryuu's presence, aware of them but not really paying much heed. After checking where Takara had gotten to, he followed Alek until they were out of earshot (the baying of the pack helped to mask their voices).

Turning his head up to look at the moon, Tsukiko's face relaxed out of it's emotionless state & he looked completely drained. His features were ragged & his eyes were dulled slightly, the weight of the past few years having taken their toll on him. He sighed heavily before looking towards the ancient man beside him, his voice tired & melancholy.
"I am beginning to have doubts Alek. All these people, they have followed me here, I do not know why & I don't think they do either, but what if it's a mistake? I could be leading them all to their deaths.... It is true that, with the moon as close as it is, our powers will be elevated to heights we have never before experienced & yet.... I am still doubting whether I can lead them to victory."

The twins pouted when Tsukiko didn't hug them and moved their hands to their hips.

Hikaru, however, didn't have long to pout when Tsu picked him up and swung him around. He yelped then started to kick his legs.
"God damn it! Put me down! What the hell is it with everyone picking me up today?!"

Minoru just stared before once again doubling up with laughter. Looking up he managed to speak through his laughter.
"It's good to see you guys again!"
He lowered his head again, hugged his chest and continued to laugh.

"I've seen and fought countless battles, the one thing I've learnt from them is this; You can never be sure who will win, but if you enter a battle with any doubt, you will lose."
The ancient man's sliver eyes were rock steady whist fixed on Tsukiko.
"We will not lose."

He gazed up to the sky at what appeared to be flickering star, talking seemingly to himself.
"The Ares sleeper ship... The only sleeper launched with a set destination. Planet X493, a dusty T2 rock with a thin atmosphere and erratic orbit, but it's what she'll call home. Hell, I called it home once upon a time."

The ancient man stopped stargazing and looked back over the massed army of humans, werewolves and other creatures.
"All of your life you've been trained for this, even at the facility, it was originally intended to train your abilities... Then Green and his lot took over"

Running one hand through his hair in a way he had done since childhood, Tsukiko exhaled slowly & closed his eyes.
I hope you're right Alek. A lot rests on our victory..."
When his friend seemed to go off on a random tangent the werewolf raised an eyebrow, wondering who he was talking about. The ancient man often spoke of 'her' but had never revealed who 'she' actually was. It puzzled him, but he never pressed the subject - afterall, it wasn't his business.

The Alpha's eyes opened as Alek began to talk about his own life. He'd known the facility had wanted to train him, wanted to harness his powers without the need of a collar. He was young they figured, therefore, he could be trained. But he figured it would've been the same for any werewolf that had been captured at his age. The way his friend spoke, it was as though he had been specifically chosen - which was impossible, right? Tsukiko's handsome, scarred face creased into a frown as he thought about his days in the facility, the things he had suffered at the hands of those researchers... until the day he'd escaped. He was still haunted by the moments leading up to it; the men bursting into his cell, the image of the syringe as it came towards him, the intense RAGE he'd felt. The bloody aftermath. He shook himself, trying to rid himself of the memories of that day. Since becoming Alpha, he had trained himself intensively, honing his skills so that he could now spend literally hours in his Gauru form - without Death Rage.

His deep brown eyes locked with Alek's silver ones.
I was never trained Alek. I was tortured. This is why we are here today, to bring an end to those that twist, maim and break others, just because they can & because they wish to have power.
The Uratha looked back up at the sky, a strong feeling of unease once again coursing down his spine.
& no matter what happens, I promise you, I will fight with you afterwards. I can feel it Alek... There's something else coming."

Ryuu gave the female werewolf a small smile.
"I...I wanted to speak with either of you- either you or Hemming. Though Hemming seems to have a lot on his plate at the moment."
Ryuu sighed softly running a hand through his snow-white hair.
"Me and Tsu...out strength is fading- has been for a few days now. It's 'cause of the moon thats blocking out that sun of ours and that's gonna be crashing into the Earth. We'll be able to fight, sure, but not if this battle lasts a long period of time."
Ryuu paused glancing over at Tsukiko.
"But please. Don't think of us as burdens."

Tsukiko chuckled and placed Hikaru back on the ground.
"Sorry, kiddo, but you're just so small and easy to pick up~"
Tsu glanced at Ryuu as he walked off with Takara and then turned to Minoru picking him up aswell.
"Hey, I missed those mischevious grins of yours, how are ya? Been anywhere nice?"

Takara felt bad for the pair of them, yet she knew she could do nothing but make them feel welcome. As Ryuu spoke, she glanced at the looming, ever present rock that would no doubt be their demise, then at the other Tsu, then back to the interesting male before her. The female lay a hand on the man's shoulder, a solemn, yet soft and caring expression on her face. "You needn't worry. Take all the rest and relaxation you need, you will be nothing but help, trust me, we need all the man, wolf and creature power we can get," she teased, shooting Ryuu a gentle smile.

Takara drifted back to Tsukiko, the werewolf, and stoof behind his right arm, watching him intently. She hated to see her beloved so drained, and know she was powerless to help. A twinge of something unusual and irritating pulled in her chest, and she had to spin on her heels and flee.

After a short period of jogging with her hands into fits and her eys wet with tears, Takara stopped at grassy bank, overlooking the devastation. So much disaster...and she was just another victim. Takara dropped to sit on her haunches, and tipped her head gently back and parted her jaws in a mournful howl. It surely carried to the others, which she was not proud of, but couldnt help herself as she sat sobbing between howls.

Here she was, having returned tougher than the last escapade, yet...she still showed emotion....

And that...that was her biggest weakness...

Once he was put down Hikaru crossed his arms and pouted.
"'M not small...."
He kicked a rock that was by his foot.

Minoru yelped when Tsu picked him up, having not expected it. He frowned slightly but continued to smile.
"And we missed pestering you! We've been alright. How've you been holding up, old man? Our homeland's pretty nice. You been anywhere?"

"A great evil draws near and it's not just the Angelus corporation, everyone can feel it... Hell, this sword must be getting ready for fighting something big."
He looked back over his shoulder at the huge army of werewolves, noting families huddling together, children amongst them.
"We need to get them out of here Tsu..."
He turned back to the face the moon.
"Once we breach the perimeter, send them to the Angelus corporation's own cryo ship, it should be in some kind of underground silo and prepped for launch, there should be enough room for most of them..."

He sighed, looking down at the dull ground.
"You understand that once we're in the building there will be no turning back for us. We will die today. We will not go quietly."
With that, Aleksander turned away from Tsukiko and spoke over his shoulder as he walked.
"You 'd better give them a speech or something, feel free to use that last bit I gave ya... See you on the battlefield friend. Don't go dying before the good bit."
He smirked before heading towards a familiar figure that stood out of sight, bathed in shadows. Lillith.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 23, 2011 3:42 pm

Tsukiko nodded solemnly, gazing out across the pack & hoping that he'd be able to get most of them to safety; if he could just stop too many casualties... He lifted his head in time to watch Alek walk away towards a beautiful woman, Lilith he believed she was called. He'd met her once before, though she'd been heavily pregnant then, he wondered what had happened to the child.
Don't worry, I won't die...
Before the werewolf could think about it too much, he caught the tail-end of a familiar howl not too far away. Takara. In an instant the Alpha was on his feet, shifting mid-stride to his Urshal form & powering towards the sound. Various members of his pack made moves to follow him, but he cut them short with a sharp bark. With the heightened senses of his new form, Tsukiko could hear his Beta even better, picking out the notes of sadness in her howl.

It didn't take him long to reach her. Standing a few feet away, his black fur rustling in the light breeze to reveal the silvery roots beneath, the werewolf murred gently. He didn't approach straight away, in case Takara wished to be left alone, but he couldn't just ignore the one who'd helped him so many years ago, when they'd both been captives. He didn't understand why she had gotten so upset though.

From where she was stood in the shadows, Lilith had watched the conversation between Alek and the tall dark-haired male she knew to be Tsukiko Hemming. A light smile played on her lips as she watched her lover move away from the werewolf & come towards her. She often felt a small pang of sadness whenever she looked at Alek - he reminded her of the child she'd borne for him then had to give up, she knew it had to be if he was to live, but it didn't make it any easier. The succubus also knew that she was going to die, but she wasn't upset. Since Alek had made it clear that he was not going to leave, she was going to stay with him till the end. It was strange, how one person could have changed her so much, but that was love for you. At first she thought it was just lust but now... she knew otherwise.

When he was close enough, Lilith held out her arms & grinned, her white teeth gleeming. She'd chosen to wear a very small set of shorts & a crop top today, since a dress was not going to help her when she fought.

Ryuu nodded and thanked the female werewolf for understanding their situation, before the two parted ways. Ryuu let out a tired sigh as he made his way over to Tsukiko and the twins.

Tsukiko smirked.
"You are small~! Jus' look at ya~"
He then gently put Minoru back on the ground, ruffling his hair.
"I've been alright, kiddo. Could be better though."
He paused, watching as Ryuu joined the little group. His friend looked as tired as he felt. As he thought this he yawned before turning to Minoru.
"Ah, nahh we ain't been anywhere special really, jus' around here really."
Tsu indicated around them before speaking again.
"and it ain't exactly the most beautiful place in the world 'round here."

Hikaru, falling into childish activities, stuck his tongue out at Tsu.
"'M not bleeding small! You're just too damn big!"

Minoru shook his head at his brother, a small smile on his face. He looked back up at Tsu, his smile turning softer and sadder.
"If you wanna talk about anything, we'll listen,"
Here he nudged his brother who nodded.
The younger twin looked around, a small frown on his face.
"The whole world is going to the dogs,"
He looked at all the werewolves present and mumbled,
"This place more then others it seems..."

Hikaru stopped pouting and kept his arms crossed across his chest.
"We've traveled a lot these past few years and-"

"This place is probably the worst off-"

"Compared to everywhere else in the world..."

Takara stepped away from the edge as she heard the sounds of her Alpha approaching. Dammit... she cursed, her eyes betraying her by being a window into her darkest fears right now. She stepped forward, crouching down and morphing to the same form as Tsukiko. The wolf whimpered softly as she sat back down, ears flat against her neck.

I'm sorry Alpha... she began, dipping her wet muzzle, I hadn't intended to become so...distressed... she lied. Well...she had hoped she wouldn't but she knew that it was probably inevitable. Takara inhaled deeply, and lifted her gaze to see the breathtaking image that was the black Uratha before her. I've just been having trouble dealing with a few things as of late. But, don't let that disconcert you Alpha, I am here to serve you as your Beta. she attempted to reassure Tsu.

She didn't realise that tears still silently trickled down her blonde muzzle as she whined under her breath - a high pitched eerie sound that carried far for a quiet sound. She rose to her paws and moved closer to Tsukiko, then sat beside him. Takara looked up at the large, round and ominous moon, a shudder rippling her fur. We are all going to die...aren't we? she asked, turning to look at Tsukiko. Her bright eye was dull, almost lifeless, the other silver and unseeing as she watched his expression carefully. But...I will do what it takes. she said again.

Takara kept her eyes on Tsukiko's becoming lost in him. She closed her own for a second, before bravely (though unorthodox) gently pushed her nose through Tsukiko's neck fur. Her tears splattered a few strands of thick plush hairs as she inhaled his masculine scent. There were so many things she wanted to say to him, but she feared that something would go wrong. Instead, as she pulled back and stood beside her Alpha, not looking at him, she thought the words in her head and heart...

I will die for you, my love...

Takara shifted her head away from Tsukiko, her chest heaving as her missing words resounded in her head. She would die for him...she would do anything for him...and yet, as she saw the inevitible hurtling towards them - that moon that would cause their deaths, she wasnt hurt by the prospect of death itself, nor how she died...

It's about who i'm leaving behind...I love him...more than anything, and I always have...I should just..tell him? But...I can't! He's my Alpha!! I don't want to leave this world because of that stupid moon, he's never going to see! He will never understand..even as I look into his eye right this moment, he has no idea. And I'd never be good enough...I just...if I need to protect him...i'm willing to die for him...I only hope he can see that when the time comes..

I will die for you, my love...
