Thrud smiled at him as she couldn't help the mean looks she kept giving the other women. She looked over the menu again. "Caramel blended mocha with Coconut flavor in it." She looked over the food. "Oh that roast beef sandwich looks good." she said with a smirk as she glanced around and curled her tail around Rafiels. "Some of them don't quite look harmless." she said as she pushed back her jealousy again.

Chuckling lightly as he handed his card to the worker his tail curled around her own. "They'll keep away as long as you stay close. One might get brave enough to talk to me, but will back away quickly. I'd find you to be a threat if I were with someone like myself. I do get the other and same gender's attention. Mostly the females, though." He spoke to her as he took his card back, heading to the area where their food and drink would be ready. He looked to the employees then back to Thrud.

Thrud looked around and started relaxing some when most of the females left or pointedly went back to their coffee or food. "Well then i guess i'll just have to not leave you alone." she said as she looked at him. "Oh you get a few males that hit on you huh? That id like to see cause im sure you like my attention better. I get females who try to pick me up too. I don't mind it but i'd rather have someone as sexy as you hitting on me." she said as she shifted her wings softly and smiled as she waited for her food and coffee.

sighs with a nod," sadly, but letting them know that it would be better as friends instead of something more is a nicer way to tell them no." Explaining as he noticed the caramel mocha with coconut be put out for them. Then the zebra mocha and the two sandwich boxes. He grabbed hold of her drink, handing it to her, then his own before taking hold of the boxes too. His box was a simple variation of a bento box, filled with a sandwich, chips, some M&Ms, and condiments in packages.
"Would you like to sit outside or in here?" Asking politely as he gestured to the cozy outdoors then to the tables near the back of the cafe with his tail.

Smiling at him she took her drink and sipped it happily. "I think outside sounds nice. Then i can worry less about how horrid my hair looks." she said with a smile as she holds the door open for him since he had the two boxes. "Thanks by the way for getting lunch. I was getting hungry but my brother and Sherlock tend to forget things like food when the little monster is hyper and all over the place." she said as she chose a table under an umbrella and sat down.
Leaning back in the chair she looked at him as she sipped her drink again. "What do you do? Do you have a job or anything?" she asked. She smiled a little as she pushed her red with black tipped bangs out of her eyes and smiled as she took her sandwich and opened it with a smile.

Rafiel nodded as he followed her outside to sit under a covered table. "You are quite welcome, Thrud. I tend to forget when I'm in my work as well." Commenting as he set his coffee down, opening up his sandwich box. He blinked at her question about his work. " I'm a writer and a teacher in sharpshooting at a gun range." He told her with a smile before taking a bit of his turkey and ham sandwich.

Thrud watched him and smiled as she took a bit of her roast beef. "Oh that sounds fun. Guns are one of the few weapons i know nothing about cause i enjoy the hand to hand or the hand held weapons fighting. Would you teach me sometime?" she asked with a smile as she leaned on the table and watched him. He was a very attractive male and she wondered what he wanted out of this or if he was just being nice to her today. "What kinda stuff do you write?"

Taking a slow sip of his zebra mocha, setting it down with a nod. "I can teach you a few skills and techniques from afar or up close. Older models from the civil war and before had a long knife on the end to stab their enemy." He agreed to teaching her and told her a little fact about bayonets from the olden days. He took a bit of his M&Ms before returning his attention to her question. Putting a hand over his mouth so his food wouldn't be shown as he was eating.
"I usually write what comes to me when I'm at work. Mostly horror or romance, but mostly gore and violence with the horror." Telling her casually as he scoot his chair closer towards the table. He didn't want his nice shirt and tie to get food or coffee on them. "What interests do you partake in, Thrud?" Asking politely.

Thrud smiled at him happily when he said he would help teach her to shoot. She was looking forward to this! Then there would be almost no weapon she couldnt use! "That sounds like a useful thing to add to a gun. Why did they stop using it?" she asked as she ate a few more bites before leaning on the table to watch him. Her tail reached out for his and brushed along it softly.
"Oh those sounds interesting. I'll have to read one some time." she said with a smile as she sipped her drink and smiled again. "Oh me? I read often, i train alot with my friend Anbu. I have a garden in my brothers back yard i tend to. Every morning i go for a run through the woods." she left out the bit about how more often then not she ran her 4 miles naked through the trees behind her brothers place. He owned 5 acres all around his house and she had free run of the wooded parts.

Rafiel sighed as he felt sad that the model was discontinued. "Well it add time to reloading and only got in the way when it came to combat. Rifles back then were loaded by hand with the gun powder and bullets that would shatter into the battlefield." Explaining since he had read books and studied them up close. His tail coiled around her own as he smiled lightly as he talked.
"Anbu? Sounds like he could be able to take be down in one swift move." Asking as his ears twitched a little. He rested his hands under his chin as he nodded. "I can show you a bit of my work another time. How about sometime next week or sooner?" Suggesting as he thought about which articles he could let her read. He thought of the smutty romance novel he had been working on the past two years. He smiled a bit at the thought, having a bit of rose color to his cheeks.

Thrud nodded as she thought about it. What she knew of rifles and what he told her about how they were loaded had her understanding the flaw there. "Makes sense then. I see why it stopped. But with how guns are now couldn't they bring it back?" she said as she watched him, curling her tail about his as well happy he had responded like that.
"Yes Anbu almost always beats me. I win only a few times a year with him. He makes all my weapons as well." She said with a smile as she watched him and leaned closer. "I would love that. Sooner is always better." she said as she reached out and took his free hand. "I'm not shy about reading anything and i'm not shy about helping you if your stuck on any of your ideas." she said with a smile as she played with his fingers and watched him, loving he little blush on his cheeks and wondering why he was blushing.

"Well army, navy, marine, and air force use this technique where they duct tape a medium sized onto the barrel of their rifle for close combat. It's great, but can be a double edged sword. They also use gum to stick mirrors onto their knives to see if there are any enemies close by to shoot at or clear the area." Explaining as if he had knowledge of the battle field or in such services. He put a hand to his eye patch after the blush had gone away. He blinked then smiled at her as he laced his fingers with her own.
"Sounds like someone of a high skill to be able to go undefeated so easily. At least you can win a few times, right?" sounding positive as his tail brushed against her leg. He took hold of his chair, moving it closer to her side. "Then how about this weekend? We can see a movie or hang out somewhere." Suggesting as he thought of some ideas. He was unsure of what they could do together. Then an idea had popped into his head, "We can go to the shooting range. You can see my sharpshooting skills and I can teach you. How does that sound, Thrud?" Asking as looked into her eyes.

Smiling as she listened she would have to remember these tips if she ever needed to use them. She liked to remember everything about fighting just encase she needed to use it. She smiled at him as she tightened her fingers with his. "Oh thats a very good idea. I might have to use that for my self when i'm fighting in general. It might be helpful." she said happily.
She tried to hold back a purr of happiness when his tail brushed her leg and smiled, thankfully she wasn't the blushing type. If Thrud blushed you had really done something to make her happy or embarrass her. She nodded as she thought about what he said. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. I'd love to go to the movies. And even more so i would love to go watch you shoot and learn how to my self." she said with a smile as she thought about it. "Anbu is great at what he does. Its rare when i beat him but i always remember them so i can rub it in his face later cause he doesn't like to admit i win sometimes." she said happily as she leaned against his arm now that he was closer.

Rafiel nodded with a smile after explaining to Thrud. "Well before I had become a sharpshoot, I had been in the armed forces and was shipped over seas for a duration of a year. It ended horribly and resulted in me loosing an eye. Hence why I wear an eye patch now. The eye is still there, but it has a long gash in it." He told her as his smile had turned into a frown. his tail wrapped around her own. It was a bit hard for him to bring up his past so easily, but he felt that he could trust this female.
Rubbing her arm lightly with one of his hands as he brought her close to him. "He must be a good sparing partner to keep you on your toes." He said jokingly as he tried to cheer himself up. He had brought himself into a depression rut, but pulled out of it quickly to keep her from worrying.

Thrud smiled at him and nodded. "Oh well that all sounds interesting! I love the thrill of a fight and why hide a sexy scar." she said leaning in against him and running her hand over his cheek under the patch. "I love scars! I think their sexy." she said with a smile as she purred up at him happily.
She raised a brow and smiled at him. "He is. Are you upset? You didn' enjoy your fighting did you then...Mmm i'm upsetting you. Stop talking about it. Mmmm what would you like to do this weekend besides have me read your books?" she said as she smiled. "You cant hide that look i can smell that your not happy about this talk of your past." she said softly.
