The Cat Fairy! Digital Malevolence The Cat Fairy! Digital Malevolence I prefer anything that isn't salt water, and isn't polluted. Though everywhere I usually go swimming is in MA, because thats where I live. Honestly though, I barely know RI, accept I know Providence and Warwick fairly well because I've played shows and gone to shows there as well as hung around there for fun. There isn't to many places to go swimming in Providence or Warwick though, not that I saw anyways, perhaps Warwick had some actually now that I think back, but not Providence. You're someone that I invited that fits into the 'friends' category in this guild. razz . I like having people from nearby, too! Do you go to shows at Lupos? It's my favvvvvorite place. smile
Actually theres only two places I've gone to shows in RI, I've seen plenty of bands at Club Hell, and a few at Club Gallery. I can't say I've ever seen any bands play at Lupos. Most of the bands I see aren't too well known and often fit in the 'alternative style' of musics, like Industrial, EBM, Metal, etc, most venues rarely hold such events unless its a 'fetish' club or a biker bar. 3nodding Ah. Damn, Lupos is amazing. I've never been to Hell, but I've been to Gallery. That was as a club on fetish nights when they still had that, though, not for bands.
Lupos has a variety of shows! I've seen Hatebreed, Type O Negative, and 3 Inches Of Blood there... Then again I've also seen La Roux, Flogging Molly, and Bowling for Soup there. And much much more.
I've been to so many shows. x: They're my favorite thing. Thats one thing I really love about Providence or even RI in general, the music scene is so much better and lively than Boston's. I wish I could have seen Type O, too bad about Peter Steele, now I'll never get to see them. Yeah, Hell can be fun, but if you go every week it gets really boring(for the club part anyways, the shows are always good, they have a great sound guy and lights and everything). I couldn't count the shows I've been too, its well over a hundred, I basically only go to Worcester MA, Providence RI, and Salem MA, for shows.

(We being me and the best friend, Sayllum on here). We even got to meet him at Rock & Shock. I love Rock & Shock / The palladium. This is really an awful picture, but I've gotta post it now. razz .

That he was. I've seen some amazing shows at the palladium too. I think my favorite show of all time was Gwar, though. At rock and shock this past year. 3nodding

I don't either, but their stage show was the best I've seen. It was pretty epic. I love getting to meet my favorite horror movie actors and such, it's a pretty amazing time. smile

I grew up swimming in the Providence College pool. I haven't been in it since they re-did it, but from what I remember it was wonderful.

Eww, they do? D:. I don't like Scarborough that much because I always get dragged down and get roughed up. :/. I go there maybe once a year, if that. I'm not keen on waves... they're exciting, but I like not being scraped up / getting knocked underwater without holding my nose.

Cat yeah, I know what you mean. As you go deeper in Scarborough there are like... giant rocks. They're not too smooth either : Newport fortunately isn't like that, however a crab did pinch my toe once there. I walked around with a bleeding toe for a while.

I don't do much swimming in RI, which is odd cause I live right on the water, the waves get hella annoying when I'm trying to sleep. /cough But otherwise I go to Horse-something beach in Mass, Horseneck? That's gonna drive me nuts.. xD I used to go swimming in Newport? I don't really remember I think it was Newport though. I was pretty young

I step on crabs occasionally at Mackeral, and it feels so weird... >.< Oh, the day I took the picture of my sister that's in the first post, I also took this... which I think is cute. whee
