Releasing the man as he felt him go limp, Shun was about to check if they were in the clear, but a woman's voice from within the room. Narrowing his eyes, he quietly sheathed his dagger and grabbed a pair of throwing blades. As quiet as it was, he could hear her rushing over, but it sounded like she had come to a halt. Deciding to take the initiative before she could freak out any further, he moved out into the doorway and flung the blades at her. One aimed for the heart, the other for her head. He was preparing for a following strike, should he miss as well.

The woman had started to take a step back when Shun came into view. Her wide frightened eyes turned up toward him. "Please, don't-" She had started to raise her hand hoping he wouldn't harm her but it was already too late. In the time it took her to utter the two words that she had, the throwing blades embedded themselves in their intended targets. As the blood started to seep from the wound in her head and down her face her legs gave way and she went crashing to the floor without another sound. She never stood a chance.

Creeping a bit closer, Ginji peeked his head into the room. He couldn't sense anyone else aside from the lady and man that now lay dead on the floor. "It's clear let's keep moving." He said shortly before standing up from his position and moving on down the hall, still on high alert to any movements. After counted the steps needed to get to where he needed to be he turned to the room that he had been told to access.

Hands reaching out he felt along the wall beside the door until he found the keypad. Suto had told him the different codes needed and when to use them and it only took him a second to come up with the numbers needed to punch in. Feeling the buttons Ginji began to pressed a series of numbers before he finally hit the pound sign at the bottom. It took a few seconds but the door finally clicked, the light on the keypad showing green. It was open.

Watching her drop for the moment, Shun felt nothing as usual over the fact that he had just ended two lives without his own being threatened first. Though, briefly as he glanced down at the dead man by his feet, he imagined it was Desmond's body in its place. Closing his eyes to rid himself of the thought, he waited patiently for the wolf to give the clear.

When it seemed there were no other souls (Shun had a soul?) around, he followed the other to their destination. When the door was unlocked, he slowly opened it, readying himself in case there was someone inside. Things had gone fairly smoothly thus far, but he wasn't about to let his guard down because of it. The moment he did that, would likely be the moment they end up in deep trouble.

As the door was opened Shun was once again faced with someone right off the bat. Turning up from the open draw the lab tech was at his bright golden eyes settled on the new comers. This individual obviously wasn't human, if the eyes didn't give it away the thick plated scales along its face and neck were a good clue. At first he didn't seem at that interested in who was going to join him, that was until he got a better look.

"Who the hell are you? You shouldn't be here." He started placing his files down and stepping toward the two.

Ginji didn't move from his spot. Instead he tilted his head intently listening to the man as he approached. His foot steps were heavy against the floor, either the man was large or just weighed down by something. It didn't seem like his movements were being hindered but he didn't struggle in walking like someone over weight. So that left just bulky or muscular. As the man took another step magic began to form in Ginji's hand but he waited an opportune moment to strike.

Though he was mildly surprised to find someone like this right now, it didn't really show. The guy was fairly large, and seemed to be of some lizard or possibly draconic decent. Those scales didn't look like they were just for show either. Regardless, he was going to have to die now.

Narrowing his eyes, Shun scanned for any potential weak points the guy may have. With clothing, it was a little tough to tell. But, there were some areas that were bound to be softer than others.

Like the eyes.

Bringing his hand up quickly, he grabbed and flung a blade at one of the employee's eyes. They were a smaller target for sure, but he hoped to be able to do some damage. The assassin then ducked down and drew out both of his daggers, standing in a low stance.

When Shun flung his blades the man flinched to the side, the blades bouncing off the scales lining his temples. Apparently this one wasn't going to be killed to easily. The normal vital points seemed to be protected, his skin was going to be much tougher to get through.

Obviously not please, the tech didn't cower back. Instead he continued to advance. "I don't know who the hell you are but-" His sentence was suddenly cut short as a tendril of ice shot into his mouth. Ginji had heard the blade ricochet off the man's skin but while his outside was no doubt tough his insides weren't. His mouth was particularly vulnerable.

Forcing the ice in a bit further there was an audible crunch before the lizard man's eyes rolled back into his head and his body began to slump. Breaking the ice away Ginji moved on into the room, his guard going down since it didn't appear like anyone else was here.

"We are looking for files under the names: Adolphus, Cunningham, Flynn, Lupus, and Spencer. They should be kept alphabetically. There should also be files listed under genetic alteration. We are to take all of those." Ginji wasn't much help here as he touched the cabinets. There were quite a few and while he knew what cabinets the information more than likely resided he still had no way of narrowing down what to grab.

In the mean time the lab tech was taking an unusually long time to die though he did finally come crashing to the ground. It didn't seem like he could move, whatever Ginji had managed to crush had paralyzed him, but with the ice still lodged in his throat there was no way he could scream for help. All he could do was lay there on the ground and wait for death.

Those scales seemed to be a pretty good defense for the lizard man, but it seemed that the wolf had taken care of things rather quickly. Seeing how there were no others around, he went ahead and sheathed his daggers again for the time being and headed to the file cabinets. His eyes widened and he paused for the moment as he heard 'Lupus' among the files requested. The assassin would need to take a peek into that...

Hearing a thud finally, he glanced back to see that the tech was still alive. With a grimace, he went to try and snap his neck quickly first before filing on through the cabinets. Instead of going in alphabetical order, he went straight for Lupus...

It took a little bit for him to pinpoint the exact one, thanks to his issues with reading, but once he did, he flipped open the folder to try and look through it.

Taking the bag he had strapped over his shoulder off, Ginji found a flat surface and set it down, opening it up so that they could stuff what they found inside. While Shun rummaged the cabinets, Ginji made his way toward the computers in the room. Even though he couldn't see it seemed he was prepared for that challenge as he produced a thumb drive from his pocket. It took a moment of searching but he was finally able to find the main tower and a place to plug in the drive. After a few seconds of booting up the drive took over with the program that was on it, searching for information with key words. A monitor came up to show the progress of the files being taken though with the speed it was moving through stuff it was hard to say what it was getting.

The file that Shun had decided to pull up first seemed to hold a great deal of information. The very first pages were information on the two techs with the last name Lupus, a crudely taken photo of each individual clipped to their information chart. It listed them as being married, it gave information on their families, children, ages and so on. It also had a stamp in red across the page that read deceased.

Further into the file would prove to be much more time involved than simply reading their information. It was anything from hand written notes, to files, to even a few disks of information on the work they had covered. At a glance it seemed they were working on a medicine to help the body fight diseases that had no cure as of yet. Changing the genetic structure of the body as a whole so that the disease would have no effect. It looked as though their research had been inconclusive when they had passed on but another researcher that had been helping them on the project was listed. S. Adolphus.

A certain chill ran down Shun's spine as he saw Mitsu's name on the front page. At first, he thought it was a mixture of his dyslexia and subconsciousness messing with him, but no matter how he looked at it, the name read the same to him. Suto had worked in the same facility as her parents. It didn't take too long for him to recall what little details he had picked from the girl regarding their death. He had suspected foul play before, but now he was almost certain.

He took some time to flip through the pages. The assassin couldn't spend too long deciphering things but he wanted to see what it was these people did. Skimming on through, he froze again when he seemed to chance upon Suto's name. Again, he thought it was his mind playing tricks on him, but it seemed that it wasn't the case this time either.

That tidbit nearly solidified his thoughts.

Narrowing his eyes, he had a rather dark look on his face before he closed the files and went on to continue searching for the others. The next one he sought out was Suto's own files. At the moment, the others weren't of much interest. He'd get to them soon enough anyway. He'd have to see if he could somehow copy some of the Lupus files..

The file for Adolphus was a large one. Either there were multiple people with the same last name all lumped together or the man had a lot of projects. As the file was opened it would prove to be the latter. His information was on the front, or at least as much information as the research facility managed to gather. His age was rather vague, his place of birth was unknown, even his blood type and other information was vague, unknown, or left blank. It was like they had started to compile the information and then just left it to be completed later. The photo that accompanied his file seemed to be rather old though he looked just the same as he did at current.

If one were to look further into the file it would prove to be filled with charts and formulas, complex notes, and so on. Most of the writing didn't even seem to be of any normal language, mostly strange symbols and squiggly lines. There was nothing specific to any one thing. It looked as though everything was rather cluttered. One page of research would stop short and another would suddenly start. It was like his thought process was unclear or it was purposely left a clutter to keep people from prying into his work.

He did however have notes on the people he had been working with, the names that had been mentioned previously. There wasn't much to specify anything out of the ordinary but like everything else to notes transcended into something else like his thought process had been lost.

The other files were much like the Lupus'. They all contained information on the projects they had been working on, all involving genetics, all having them partnered with S. Adolphus, and all of them deceased.

It seemed that there wasn't much known about Suto. Didn't companies like this usually run background checks? Well, he supposed it didn't matter a whole lot now. Shun took note that the man looked pretty much the same now as how he did back then, but recalled what Mitsu said of their scientist, how she felt he wasn't human or like anything they were familiar with. That he smelled of dust.

A lot of the research wasn't decipherable either, as it all seemed to be written in a different language. Not that the assassin would be able to spend much time to read any of it in the first place. Grimacing, he closed it and fetched the rest.

Once he had all the files, he looked over at the wolf, distantly thinking on all of this. It normally wasn't his place as an assassin to think of the 'why' but this job had hit a personal note.

"I have the files," he said quietly while closing the cabinets.

Shortly after Shun had collected his files the computer gave a soft beep letting Ginji know the file transfer was complete. "As do I." He said grabbing the thumb drive and putting it away back in his pocket. Once the files were put away in his back his strapped it securely back over his shoulder.

"According to guard rotation we need to head out the back way of this building. They will be patrolling the front now. If we head down another twenty steps there should be another set of staircases leading back up."

With a nod, Shun stepped out into the hall and began making his way in the direction the wolf mentioned. In the back of his head, he considered how he was going to tell Mitsu all of what he had found out. He wasn't even sure if she would want to know it... Frowning at that thought, he figured he could at least present the option of giving the information. If she didn't want to know, then he'd leave it at that.

But how he loathed Suto even more now. Even so, there was a tiny voice within that said that he really wasn't too far behind the scientist, or his father for that matter.

Ginji wasn't far behind Shun as they left following the assassin down the quiet hallway. Things seemed to be going just as smoothly on their way out, that was until they made it to the top most level and ran into a guard making a random round inside the building. He wasn't human either though he looked to be more of the fuzzy variety than scaly like the lab tech.

The guard was tall and broad, with long clawed fingers, and dark almost black eyes. He had a pair of small rounded ears at the top of his head, and coupled with his face he looked very much....like a bear. Already on alert seeing the masks they wore, the guard lashed out a hand to secure Shun by the arm. "Who the hell are you?" His voice was deep and gravely, and just passed his lips it was easy to see the mouth full of large pointed teeth.

Ginji wasn't sure who was in his path but he really didn't care. The man had to go. Readying himself, tendrils of ice started to form in his hand. He was still judging the man's location but from what he could tell Shun was currently in the way. He had been given orders not to harm the boy, at least not yet.

As they made their way through the building, Shun kept an eye out for signs of trouble. Everything had gone well up to the point where they ran into the other guard. Narrowing his eyes, he didn't say anything to this guy either. This bear-man would be easier to slice, but that didn't necessarily mean it'd be easier to take down.

Moving his arm to avoid being grabbed, he shifted his weight and brought up his other hand, drawing out his dagger and lashing out at the guard's throat in a single motion. He would need to be taken care of quickly, before the guard could alert his comrades. As close as he was, this was a bit risky, but he couldn't back away either with the wolf behind him.
