Lilura laughed as Daisuke claimed she must have gotten better with practice. Hardly. Well maybe it had but not to her satisfaction. "I refuse to brag lest I animate something I don't mean to," she said with a laugh. She had to nod a bit when he spoke of her and Tortalo having space. She had lived her whole life with him so it wasn't so much space as it was her need of him.

Him saying he also hadn't gone on the last field trip made her feel excedingly better. She wouldn't be alone on her first field trip. She'd have another newb with her so to speak. "Yeah I had an incident with an animated mousetrap that kinda kept me in the infirmery and in my room for awhile," she blushed a bit.

"Yeah I hope no one gets hurt. Or we sink," she wrapped her arms around herself a bit and looked out towards the water. She could barely swim, having never found a need for it when carrying a large weapon such as Tortalo. "So tell me," she grinned all 'i'm a friend who's going to playfully pick on you' type, "How did you start dating Bella? The dorm is a buzz with her glowing."

Aurian approached boat number eight, one small bag slung over her shoulder. In one hand she clutched a print out of the boat assignment and location; the other hand carried a large scythe with a blade on both ends. The Reaper wore a calm face, but someone might notice her white-knuckled grip on the paper that betrayed her worry over this excursion. The last one handed gone so well for her. She'd ended up in the infirmary after the initial train ride, and her enrollment had been delayed as a result. Technically, she still had yet to officially join the school, though her enrollment had been accepted.

The boat seemed designed to inspire fear, with its giant grimace. Aurian approved, though she did wonder if that was normal for boats. Shrugging, she turned her attention to the bigger problem: no weapons.

The double-ended scythe she carried was a clear violation of the rules for the boat. Aurian stared at the gangplank, then at her beloved weapon. She sighed and rubbed her cheek against the pole. With a last fond pat to it, she sealed the weapon away. It was with a mournful frown that Aurian ascended the gangplank and stepped onto the boat.

Aurian wasn't the sort to admit she eavesdropped, but she had been listening closely as she approached the other students milling about on desk. She slowed as she neared them. One girl asked about the Christmas trip and Aurian couldn't help but speak up.

"I do wonder how it went, myself. I, uh, ended up rather injured when the train crashed," Aurian flushed. She didn't like to admit such a thing. A Reaper should be stronger than that.

"Oh, sorry," she apologised. She would probably be judged worse on eavesdropping and interrupting than she would be on spending time in the infirmary. "I didn't mean to- I was just passing by, and heard, well... Haha, what terrible manners. I'm Aurian. You're Holly, correct? And...?"

She trailed off, hoping the other students would be willing to introduce themselves. Aurian hadn't had the chance to meet many students while on the train or lying in a makeshift hospital bed.

The only reason that Savior had somehow made it to the ship was through the help of a small monster, one that headed off to another boat without much thanks or welcome attempts. Without having been lead to where she was she'd likely have remained on the shore and missed out on the trip entirely, not that she would have even known or likely cared. She'd have spent her days sleeping wherever, chasing down Kushi, and maybe wondering why the person that smelled like her was nowhere to be found.

Coming onto the boat had been a bit difficult since Savior wanted to jump off the gang-plank a few times at the enemy Marrowstripe that she saw in the water. When she realized that they wouldn't be coming onto the ship with her and she was probably better off getting into the same area as all those talking people she gave up on jumping after the dreaded rival and stayed on the deck. The first thing she noticed was that the person who smelled like her was not there and that was completely okay, but the second thing she noticed was a small creature running around making weird sounds and clearly getting underfoot. Savior wanted to get underfoot too but part of her brain kept telling her that hurting small things was bad and she would have to know better than to stomp on something or chase it.

The monster made her rounds over to a group of students, nearly bumping into them with how little she was paying attention. She lifted her head up (she'd been looking at the deck) and bobbed it a bit at Daisuke, Raizel, and Collette, all the while even forgetting that she'd met the female Reaper before. "Ahh...." Her voice was hollow as she made a sound of greetings, not really knowing what to say. Was there a specific word or two that would best suit speaking to others? If so, Savior didn't know it. Of course that little creature she'd watched running around before was still doing it and she watched it with interest, a humming sound issuing from her throat.

Aurian eeped as the wisp darted underfoot. Normally she thought herself possessing good balance. But with the bag adding weight to one side, the lack of her scythe for extra balance, and the rolling of the waves under the boat, Aurian wasn't feel so confident. She ended up hopping from one foot to the other, trying not to step on the wisp as it charged about barking.

"Jack? Is that it's name?" she asked Holly.

"Ahh..." someone behind them said.

Glancing over her shoulder, Aurian smiled warmly at the newcomer. She'd discovered, in her brief life so far, that smiles were a most unthreatening way of greeting people. And when she wasn't actually Reaping, she wanted others to feel as comfortable as possible. "Hello," she said to the stranger... who didn't look so strange on second glance. Actually, she looked a little familiar. "Have we met before? My name is Aurian. I'm very sorry if we have met and I forgot your name. I'll do my best to remember it from now on."

Another warm smile, and Aurian thought that the greeting had gone very well. A small rush of pride ran through her, warm and bubbling. Things seemed to be off to a better start, this trip.

Boat eight... staring at it wasn't going to make it go away, was it. A sigh was given before Livi decided he might as well deal with it and get on. There were other students there and he didn't want to think what kind of issue he'd get into if he missed it. Having used his new present to pack up his bits of clothing and other needed things, he stepped onto the plank leading into it and entered. It took a lot of effort to keep his nose from wrinkling in vast distaste, though in truth it had nothing to do with the boat itself.

No, it had everything to do with the fact he was stuck on another field trip... weren't these sorts of things supposed to be fun? Ugh... but as he got on, he noticed that something seemed to be zipping around. What... it seemed to be a wisp of some kind. Perhaps that puppy he had seen around? Hopefully he wouldn't hurt the tiny thing... it reminded him a bit of Luka and it would bother him greatly if he hurt it.

"I don't mind if you brag." He laughed lightly. "I've seen your skills before, it's neat to watch." He gave a nod, hoping that would reassure her modest nature. Lilura was very sweet, a good friend to have. His expression twisted in concern, although he wasn't sure be amused by a hostile mousetrap or worried on why she animated a mouse trap...

"That's... Something. Ouch, might wanna try staying away from mousetraps." He held a smile chuckling. His pocket started to vibrate, making a bleeping sound. He felt awkward and rude just grabbing it out but if it was Bella, he didn't want to make her think he was ignoring him.

"Sorry.. Excuse me a moment." He grabbed out his phone and his smile widened exceedingly. It was from Bella!

He blushed madly and hearing Lilura's question over the top of that just made him glow.

"W-well... Ugh. It sorta just.. Happened? got pranked as well as a few other students in the boys bathroom and was covered in a luminous blue solution. When I came out, Bella came running down the hall asking why I was so blue. So we got taking and she introduced me to the club she runs..." He paused probably talking her ear off already but he really couldnt pass up. "We just started hanging out more and more after that. Went on a picnic, asked her to the scarentine and then yeah."

The picture was pretty clear after that, enough that he was just smiling instead of glowing from a blushing fit.



Just as he clicked send, his eyes turned to meet the owner to a voice from behind him. There was a ghoul he hadn't seen before "Hai th-" then he felt something bouncing between his legs and feet, having to juggle his balance trying not to step on the creature. "C-careful down there, I dont want to step on you." He sighed, looking back at her again. "Hi. Sorry about that. Are you new?" He smiled, stepping back to invite Savior in to his and Lilura's convo.

"Im Daisuke and this is Lilura." He beamed, looking back at the blonde reaper. "So... Hows your love life?" He asked, feeling it would be nice to ask her, since she had wanted to know about his.
