Suri had never been to Electric Dreams, nor had she even heard of it. The tender teenage years where she might have enjoyed such a place were spent locked in her room looking up the daily photos from the Hubble or zealously reading science fiction novels and blogging angrily about how they were in space, you shouldn't be able to hear the explosion. The twenty-two year old admittedly looked out of place amongst the high-schoolers running around, or perhaps she was the chaperone: even dressed casually, she was still wearing a pressed button shirt and nice khakis. The tell-tale sign of her Negaform was the aviators that sat on her head, though she seemed much meeker in comparison while in civilian clothing, not even donning her typical classroom persona that terrified many a Crystal Academy girl.
You might even say that Suri Ellis looked even bewildered by all of the flashing lights and sounds.
She nodded silently to Demy as she entered the main room, setting down a bucket of fried chicken as her contribution to the party (kids liked fried chicken these days, right?) From there, she assumed a classic wall-flower position near the skee-ball arena, watching the growing congregation of children silently. However, when she noticed Nyasa from across the room, she zeroed in on possibly the only other adult present and decided that there was where she needed to be.
"Thank you," she greeted, her voice soft against the loud chimes of the various machines. "For the other night, I mean. I wasn't in good shape."

Video games were not Teddy's forte. Much of his childhood and early teenage years had been spent outside, whether it be on camping trips with the family or simply venturing around the large expanse of forest that surrounded the Deòrsa home. In his very early years, his favorite games were chasing squirrels or rabbits. His experience with video games was minimal, mostly what he heard from others throughout elementary and middle school. Their hand-held devices and cartridges only made them seem less interesting and did not intrigue young Teddy enough to participate. To say he was inexperienced would be an understatement. However, his interest in getting better acquainted with his fellow officers far out weighed his disdain for being seen as inexperienced.
Stepping inside the brilliantly lit arcade, Electric Dreams slightly intimidated Teddy. Multicolored buttons and knobs, not to mention the various controllers that were shaped in all manner of things. Was all this really necessary? He would contemplate the gaudiness of the establishment to himself after the party. Not to mention the lack of sanitation as one person jumped from one machine to another. No one was even wiping it off with an anti-bacterial wipe! Esperite's face twisted into a look of disgust. He knew now that he would have to stop analyzing and simply make his way to the party room. Keeping his fruit tray and 24 pack of Rockstar energy drinks far from the uncleanly denizens of the arcade, he finally found the room and made his way inside. He felt a bit more at ease, far from the dirty little strangers beyond the door. Placing his contributions on the table, he noticed he was not the only fan of Rockstar energy drinks. Good to know, something to bring up later. Taking a can from the other contributor's pack, he popped open the metal container and took a big gulp. He was going to need to be on his best behavior with so many unknown faces. Casually he began to walk around the room, taking small sips of Rockstar in order to keep his cool.

"...didn't want me to bring it then you should have caught me before I bought it." Ever was a stranger here, definitely, but he eased through the doorway in a comfortable sort of way, his head tipped back to make a face at the trailing Zac. It was possible that the slither of annoyance in his voice was genuine but -- at the same time, there was a glimmer of good humor in his eyes that sapped it down.
It was only once he was inside that he'd realized how loud he'd been. Again. He paused, mostly blocking Zac's entrance into the place, sweeping messy strands of hair up into the black hat he was wearing and letting his eyes twitch from one party-goer to the next. Then he blinked, ducking his head a little and maybe trying to make himself seem a little less awkwardly tall.
The mock-scowl had melted into puzzled, and now settled into a more comfortable, familiar grin. "Oh. Or that everyone's underaged. That might have worked too..."

"Despite your behavior and what it might imply about your -mental- age I am NOT your Baby sitter I am your GENERAL...now -move- before I kidney punch you and walk over your twitching body."
He paused to process the 'under age' information only to scoff as well.
"Please... as though the information that most if not ALL are under age at this particular time wouldn't have ENCOURAGED you...There...that's your 'hottie' that's Scheelite, if you grab him in any way shape or form I will break a finger for each grope, two if its really perverted, if I run out of fingers I will start on toes..."

Ladon watched with wide eyes as he saw Scheelite reach for the vegetable tray and not frown at it being there. Instead, he reached and PLUCKED a celery stick, didn't ask what it was, and ATE IT! He pulled no face, but continued bouncing about. Ladon all but gleed at seeing this, and watched with a proud smile as his fellow Captain continued, seeming not to notice how touched the smaller Captain was by such a small action. Scheelite made the effort to eat better. Scheelite had taken his advice. Scheelite was such a super amazing person to make the effort to better his diet. He listened to him!
Even Billy's stupid cowboy hat could ruin that, and he watched as the chipper Captain moved about on his merry way. Smiling brightly, he turned to the table, puffing with pride, and then looked at the cans collected about. Well, Demy had made the effort to listen to him and try something new. So…….maybe he should repay the favor and try an energy drink?
Reaching out, he took one of the slender cans in his hand and looked at the ingredients. It didn't SEEM too bad, though it had a lot of sugar. Probably why it was an energy drink. Still………….he should live life just a little bit.
Popping the tab, he took a small sip. UGH! What the heck was that??!!! It was like....someone let some fruit sit around awhile, mashed it up, mixed it with sprite and....made this! Tongue poking out, he looked at the can. Rockstar? How did this make you feel like a Rockstar?
Still, he was trying to be supportive, so he poked his tongue back in his mouth and turned around, taking another sip and looked around.

Nyasa wouldn’t deny that she felt a bit relieved when Suri arrived. That made for a total of two faces that she recognized. No, three. Ladon had been talking to some pink-eyed boy in a cowboy hat. Really, a cowboy hat? Whatever.
Turning to Suri, she shrugged her shoulder as she said,“ No problem. Go team and all that.”
What went unsaid is that Nyasa really didn’t mind. Both patients she had from the Negaverse thus far had both had to take their shirts off for various reasons – cuts, broken ribs – giving Nyasa a view that she had appreciated behind her professional attitude. After all, Nyasa had eyes and she was happy to say that they worked quite well.
She also appreciated the fact that her latest patient was legal. The jailbait… well, best not to continue that train of thought. Odd that she could kill so efficiently, but worried over little technicalities like age. A shrink would have a field day with her.
“ Healing up alright?” Nyasa asked neutrally, eyes flicking to Suri’s ribs. The other woman didn’t seem like the sort to do something stupid – like, say, overtax herself while healing – but Nyasa had some drugs of questionable legality to ensure patient compliance if necessary. And hey, since this was all under the table, she had no legal repercussions to worry about.

Billy watched as Ladon tried the energy drink. Small people should not drink energy drinks. He didn't see this ending well. At all.
Still, if Ladon ended up being a hyperactive fool and embarrassed himself, at least he couldn't blame him! Billy would be sure to drive that fact home. Taking a look around at some of the other party-goers, he wasn't entirely sure what to think. Eh.
With a shrug he grabbed a soda. He'd hit the food later. It was time to put his observational skills to trial.

"Interesting." Seth said, coming up behind Zac, having taken a liking to his insults. Coming up so soon behind the two males, it was impossible not to overhear them. Seth continued, "But not in the food." If there was anything Seth would have appreciated, it would be not having to worry about body parts in his consumption. The negaverse had enough bodies, didn't they.
He ducked beneath the doorway, his gray eyes scanning the video game surroundings. He hadn't heard of this particular arcade place -- but he was willing to give it a chance all the same. The black collar of his jacket brushed past his face, Seth was no stranger to arcades. Although he preferred a physical outlet, he liked his fair share of technology as well.
Raite carried a large bag with two pizzas in one hand, stopping in the pathway due to a certain Lieutenant. Hm? A Girl Scout? Seth was beginning to wonder about the negaverse. "Stare. Gape. Smile." He didn't really care what she did, but when they became an obstruction -- it became different, "But don't forget to walk."

"HEY LITTLE BRO!" Demy answered the hat tipping with an enthusiastic friendly pat on the back and a huge grin. Alright, he knew Bis! He'd been awesome enough to offer him an energy orb to help with his recovery, so -clearly- he was a good guy to have around. "Knee's doing better...still making me want to limp sometimes but I'm not letting that get me down. It's good to see you man!"
The blonde was off, offering Ladon and Billy a wave as he moved on to welcome people.
Though he did notice the next time he glanced back at the table the Rockstar amount seemed to have grown. Now THAT was awesome! Someone had amazing taste!
The next two people to find themselves dealing with him were Zac (of course!) and his recruit Ever. The blonde did his best to drape himself over both of them at the same time in greeting. "Hi guys!! Who's your buddy Zee?" He looked familiar...but he wasn't sure yet... And currently his draping was ending up more on poor Zac than on Ever. Damn height differences!
He was completely oblivious that Zac had introduced him as the 'hottie' mere moments before.

Genevieve was already plucking herself out of her wide-eyed revelry when she'd noticed Nyasa slither in- So the voice of the boy behind her snapped her out of it completely. "Oh my. Terribly sorry!" Smiling at him gratefully she wheeled her wagon away from the door and towards the table. Immediately she plopped a total of seven Tuppaware containers on the table with the rest of the food and snagged a chocolate chip cookie for herself. Not wanting to be thought lazy or thoughtless the teen removed the various colored lids off of all of their 'owners' and plopped them into the wagon- Once done with that she shoved the whole thing under the table.
Half-skipping/half-walking over to Lt. Mica she waved with a bright smile. "I didn't think you'd come- We're all so young for you, right?" She hadn't immediately noticed the other adult standing with the dark Lieutenant and continued to ramble a little out of excitement and anxiety. "So ... Planning on playing any of the games? Myself- I've never gotten to play video games so it's all a little unnerving but the colors look so happy, y'know?" Letting her eyes scan the room as she talked Genevieve was extremely pleased to see Gently(she was in the Negaverse too?! Awesome!), Ladon, and of course there was Nyasa. At least there were a few people she could say she knew... Even if it was only a little. Glancing back at the older woman was when the 16 year old noticed the blonde standing with them.
"Oh! There are more adults here! ... Hi. I'm Genevieve." Waving to Suri she shrugged a little. "Lieutenant Chromite- uhm at your service?"

"Oh my god, you're like his polar opposite." Ever couldn't help but grin himself, a sudden and easy grin, his arm going around Demy's waist -- and maybe that would be enough of a reminder? He might not be in uniform, he might not be recognizable, but damned if that gesture wasn't exactly the same.
Except, of course, for the little sarcastic wiggle of fingers at the end to show Zac that his hand hadn't gone anywhere inappropriate.
He offered his other hand in an easy sort of way, expression still cheerful and pale eyebrows raised. He still had on his gloves against the weather, and two fingers stuck out of this one. He seemed oblivious, or indifferent. "I'm Ever. It's my job to introduce myself to everyone here tonight, apparently."
After he said it, he paused, his expression fading a little -- trying to decide if he was actually supposed to use his other name. Oh well. Presumably Zac would punch him if he was.

"... Thank you Demy..." Zac said wilting slightly in the frustration of wasted threats, technically Ever was touching Demy aka Scheelite, but he wasn't touching him.
"Dem Meet Ilumnite again, he's perverted, frustrating and dosen't yet know when to shut up... I'm working on that."
He -scowled- pointedly at Ever and his little finger wiggle, somehow it was more irritating than feeling like a clothes line for Demy.

The arm around his waist had started to ring a bell. In fact the blonde had just been about to say something when Zac spoke up again. Oh, right! Him!
"Oh hi! Sorry, connecting people in and out of uniform is hard sometimes but I totally remember you! I'm Demy, and this is -totally- a good place to meet everyone!"
It was then that he realized he was possibly leaning a bit too much on Zac and he managed to be 'trained' just enough to pull himself back. There! His little partner should be okay now, and he could still hang out by the two right?
"Aww cmon Zee, he can't be that bad right? Besides, you should have practice trying to get people to shut up." And here he grinned just more, because the very person he was talking about was himself, of course!

Suri, like many of her fellow officers, were determined fighters, but even she knew when to bow out. She'd been taking the past few days easy, even going so far as to call in sick the day after their most recent battle. To prove herself to Nyasa, she did an experimental twist of her torso, stopping just shy of normal range. "Still a little stiff in the ribs," she admitted, "But nothing time won't heal on its own."
If there was any meaning behind the look Nyasa gave her, it seemed to elude Suri, who was instead cautiously eyeing the approach of one certain pink-haired individual. It wasn't Serah, thank goodness (Suri had received enough humble pie for one week), but she nevertheless looked familiar. Maybe she went to Crystal? It was a definite possibility, but with so many underclassmen it was difficult to remember them all.
Either way, she offered a stiff little nod in the girl's direction, a hint of her Negaverse behavior slipping through. "Lieutenant Zircon, or better known as Suri Ellis. I teach the upper-level science labs at Crystal Academy." There. Let's see if that would jog her memory.

Nyasa nodded approvingly as Suri demonstrated how she was recovering. She was grateful that the patients she had tended to thus far had enough sense to listen, because supplies didn’t grow on trees. As a matter of fact, she’d probably have to go acquire some more after the party.
And there was the jailbait. She was decidedly more cheerful when not all cut up. Nyasa couldn’t decide if that was a good thing or not. Couldn’t overlook the fact that she had brought a load of what looked like homemade goodies though, which Nyasa would certainly sample before the night was through.
“ I’m not much a gamer, but that looks like something I might try.” She said, pointing at a DDR machine. It involved dancing, so that meant it should be tolerable.
Either oblivious to or overlooking Suri’s tension, Nyasa reached back and snagged one of the fried pickles she had brought, well, for herself really. If someone else happened to like them then that was just a bonus.
" Fried pickle?" She offered. Not ignoring then, just going for a diversionary tactic. " Best try them before they get soggy."
