Sassolite could feel him his energy was growing and that meant he was getting closer. She pulled an arrow from behind her and held it in her hand. It was always useful having a pointy weapon, of course arrows broke but the heads were still bloody sharp. She tended to hold it between her knuckles like one would a knuckle duster. It did more damage that way.
As she walked she snapped the arrow so it was easier to hold, the head between her knuckles and the splintered wood in her other hand. She felt like Buffy the vampire slayer for a minute or two before a crazed senshi ran at her. She couldn't help but think he was a vampire and as he swung at her she ducked and went to hit him, first with her arrow head knuckle duster and then her 'wooden stake'. The amusement she found from this was a little more then one would expect from a fight where each side is wanting to kill the other.
"Hi mousey..." She then attempted to kick him too, just for good measure, of course trying to avoid his own counter attack, oh the fun they were having!

Chaonis was surprised when she attacked him with her arrow. Sneaky little thing, he'd give her that. He stumbled back for a moment from her first hit, feeling blood on his face. The arrow must have cut him. The wooden stick from the broken arrow was easier to dodge: his hand flashed up and he caught her wrist before she could stab him, at least.
What did she think this was, Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
He twisted her wrist but had to release her before doing any real damage because of her kick. He leaped to the side and then took a quick glance around. With a grin he lunged at her again, swinging his fist for her face and watching to see how she dodged, and how she countered. He was being more careful about her arrow, at least. But, for the first time in his life, he now had a plan.
True enough, he had leaped into the plan without actually planning it out first, but hey. It still counted.

What was it with him trying to hit her face all the time? He dodged her and she dodged him, she wasn't overly happy with all this there wasn't much in the way of space. They could both do with more space as a corridor was never really the best place for a fight now was it?
She moved backwards to dodge his fist again, jumping back and crouching down. She tensed herself ready to move again partially wondering whether it was worth trying to get him back outside the building. Neither of them would get far the way that this was going. She knew that he would hit her soon and she knew that she would possibly stab him but there wasn't enough room and she didn't like it.
"Get a move on..." She hissed at him, slowly moving back, still crouched low on the floor. She decided to get him out, this was no place for a fight and she wasn't stupid enough to get herself cornered.

Chaonis grinned, always cocky. Of course, she might not notice the slight difference in the cadence of his scoffs and laughs, the sounds he made while exerting his will to try and hit her, while swinging and missing. All of it seemed to say something else, something that only he knew.
Something he was excited about.
There was only one way to see if this would work, and that was to do it. He had the control he needed now, just enough to get the job done. He didn't need much, truth be told: the old building would do most of the work for him. But would he bring himself down with it?
It was possible. It wouldn't be the first time his own magic got him into dangerous trouble. But that was exactly the point. He was danger.
Everything felt oddly clear.
"A move on? You don't like dancing with me? I'm very hurt, I thought you liked to party," Nate teased, pulling away from the fight. He had his back to the wall, leaving her to the open space of the room around them. Clenching his fists, he focused on his magic, the energy that had been building up. He expelled his magic under his direction, or at least with enough control to make the building shake.
The support structure he had been busy punching while hiding from Sassolite groaned in response to the sudden swaying, the earthquake he created. It left him wobbly, weakened, but his heart was in his throat. Adrenaline pumped where energy and magic failed. He had to get himself out of the building, which was where his current position came in. The roof started to crumble, the floor beneath them as well. He ran for the window.
"Have fun!" He called over his shoulder, "I hope you like to rock and roll!" Not the best parting quip, but he was tired and his every nerve felt like it was burning in anticipation. If he didn't make it to the window, if he didn't clear the building, if it came down with him still in it, he could take them both out. Or leave them buried together.

Sassolite didn't like it when the building started to shake and she knew she was getting out of there. First though she shot an arrow at the senshi in hope it would at least slow him down so to get stuck in his own misfortune.
"Goodbye senshi. Try something a bit more interesting next time." With that she teleported, just outside the building mind you, enough to be able to look up at the window where they were, to wave towards him and run off. She hated teleporting, it took so much energy but she had enough to run and once she was far enough away she became Skye and say against a wall trying to get her breath back.
She also made a note to check the news tomorrow for any building collapses leading in a death. Oh that would make her day.
