“That is true. I don’t think strength would be effective in your case, but I bet your quick right? Well I guess your right. Maybe bribery is a way to go in certain circumstances.”
He shrugged and looked away from her eyeing their surroundings a little more before turning to her once again.
“Unique? Hah…I just think I’m an average stallion with a bit of a attitude problem. No I don’t see spirits. My cousins are the only ones in my family that obtained that ‘gift’. I can’t see them or speak with them. It’s more like…I know and believe they exist kind of thing.”
He never wished he could see spirits. It would get annoying to know that there is something or someone near you all the time.
“Ah I see. Well then her stubbornness is a gift in a way because it saved her from being part of a hated cult.”
He nodded and knew a few that couldn’t stand the harpy flock. He knew it was a choice to join, but he didn’t understand what stallion in their right mind would willingly go. He just didn’t get it.

The mare nodded her head slowly as she peeked around quickly. She then looked back at the stallion and shrugged her shoulders. "I suppose I could attempt to use my quick, but bribery is so much easier." Ana wasn't lazy by any means, but she sometimes preferred the easy way out of a situation.
As he explained that he was an average stallion, she couldn't help but smile. "Have you seen yourself, lately? You are not like anything I've seen before. Which means you are unique whether you like it or not." Anatola's ears pointed towards him as he explained about his cousins' abilities. "So I suppose your aunt and uncle can see these spirits as well."
Her blue-grey eyes drifted off in a direction away from the stallion as he spoke about her mother. The topic of her family held no interest to her. She was happy to be out and about on her own without her family constantly being able to haunt her.

He nodded to her as he watched her movements remembering at one time when he use to be fast. It was when he was an adolescent. He wasn’t as big as he was now and was way more nimble. They used him to stealth more then strength back in those days, but now it was the opposite. He couldn’t be very fast even if he tried. It was the price he paid for being so damn big.
“Hmmm…I suppose I am then. You are unique as well. I never have met someone who showed no physical signs of being a harpy or a kalona. So consider yourself the same thing. My aunt and uncle can’t see spirits. We don’t fully understand why only my two cousin’s received the gift, but no one else in my family has it. So it’s my duty to protect them at all costs.”
He nodded to her with a slight glare before giving a very minuscule smile.
“So…..is this a start of a friendship?”
He asked her and if it was she would be a good ally to have.

"I'd rather take the easy way out of anything any day." Her head nodded as well before she looked up to him. He was obviously larger than her, but she wasn't the shortest mare, considering what her parents were.
She had mostly stuck to herself as she grew up, so her only means of protection was herself. It only meant that she had to be careful whenever she happened to run into a darker character. The independence was what she thrived on. No one told her what to do or where to go. She was the boss of herself and it made her feel powerful, which she loved.
"Most individuals seem to be unique in their own way, I suppose. Some are more unique than others." She felt that she truly wasn't as unique as some of the more interesting soquili.
So his aunt and uncle couldn't see the spirits either. How strange, she thought. Seemed his family was all full of surprises. He could be good to keep around if she needed someone interesting to talk to or simply as a means of protection.
Anatola noted his glare, then returned the harsh stare before letting a smile slowly curl on her face. With a nod of her head, she answered him slowly. "Hm... sounds like a plan." He could be very useful in the future.

Gabriel watched her more and more wondering what she was thinking about, but then again he had his own issues to sort out. He had a stalker following him around and who’s knows what he was going to do. He had to figure out where Adalyn was before he lost his mind though he was really happy he did find Hania Shen. That was something he really needed to do.
Unique?
He didn’t didn’t believe himself to be anything of the sort. He found unique to be the mutants. The ones that don’t have something out there like them unless it’s their children. He found that fascinating.
“You don’t seem to enthused to being a friend? But let me tell you….being my friend isn’t too bad because I will protect you with my life. It’s just how I am and if you need help I would be happy to help. I’m loyal…what can I say…It was drilled into me my whole life.”
He snorted and looked away from her as he slowly began to walk a few meters away from the mare.
