Mayu finished gathering her stuff at her locker. She closed it and noticed that the boy from earlier was not there. That and she was missing her book. She lets out a small sighed and readjusts her pin in her hair. Mayu walked to the school's exit, she saw the blue-haired boy. From all the gossip, she had learned that his name was Justin.

Justin looked around, then saw Mayu. He then pulled out the book he found, walking over to the girl. "Hey. You dropped this by the lockers." He told her.

Mayu saw him walking her way. She noticed that he stopped in front of her and handed her a book. She looked down at the cover. "Oh, I have been looking everywhere for it, thank you." She said to him and took it, she slipped it into her bag. "I'm Mayu, by the way." She introduced herself and held her hand out towards him so he could shake it.

Justin reached out a hand to meet Mayu's. "I'm Justin." He told her. The young half breed was smiling on the inside, since no one really tried to meet him in school before.

Mayu pulled her hand back gently after they were done shaking hands. "Well, thanks for returning my book to me." Mayu said a little awkwardly. She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

Justin nodded. "No problem. Happy to help." He told Mayu, with a smile. He didn't smile much, because he couldn't find much to smile about, aside from video games. It's been like that since that man with the burning stick backed him into a corner. That was the first time Justin ever killed anyone, so it was a harsh experience.

Mayu stuck the book in her bag. "Are you in any after school clubs?" She asked Justin. She was in no clubs at all, to her they were a waste of time. But for some reason, she just wanted to keep the conversation with him going.

Justin shook his head. He never had time for clubs. He was normally too busy hiding from people like that man he remembered. "Nah. I guess I'm just too busy." He told her.

"That's good." She said and smiled slightly. "I find them a waste of time, I rather do something else then stay at school." Mayu admitted. "But some people just are not like that."

Justin nodded. "Yeah. That could get boring. However, my home life isn't really much to look at, either. I'm just a typical game nerd." He told her, leaving out the rest of his home life, for clear reasons.

"Hm..." Mayu said softly. "I have so much stuff that my mom puts me through like piano, flute, and violin lessons." She said softly. "I have to other things like that, she can't have any more children so she lives the ones she could have through me." She said and yawned slightly.

Justin frowned. "That sucks." He said. However, at least she HAD a parent. He always wanted to meet his mom and dad. However, that was impossible.

MAyu shrugged. "Nah, Actually, she's to crazy to care what I do anymore." She said and looked over at him. "Do you rather not talk about parents?" She askd him, she wondered if he had parents, he seemed a little uncomfortable.

Justin nodded. "Yeah. I'd rather avoid that topic." He said. He knew he'd have to get over it at some point, but never getting to meet his parents still hurt.

Mayu nods. "Oh, did you ever get your locker open?" She asked him. "Did you ever go to the office and get your combination?"
