'Riyya took his acceptance in stride. Clearly how could he refuse? She lifted her foot. "Alright lets go."
"What do you see? Do you hear or smell any prey?" The lioness' other senses were not impaired, but she seemed to have forgotten them in her anguish over loosing her sight. Her paw stretched out slowly as she tried to find him by touch.
The red lioness was trying very hard to figure out how to teach this novice how to hunt when she herself couldn't demonstrate. Hopefully he wouldn't need to be shown how to chase any prey. Her opinion of him wasn't high, and she wasn't sure if this would work at all.

”Here.” Sensing the gist of what the lioness was trying for Hatari moved quickly and came to her side so he was standing shoulder-to-shoulder with her. “If I try to lead you you’ll just bump into me a lot. This way I can guide you over flat ground without shoving you or anything.” This, at least, he was a field he was capable in. He had helped a previous master’s all but blind and toothless grandfather around this way once before. He raised his head over the grasses and flung his gaze about for a moment once situated. Strangely, he hadn’t really thought about listening for prey, but he did so now for a long moment “I don’t see anything, but I thought I heard something. If we go up that hill I could look around better.”

She was a bit surprised when he came into contact with her. No one had offered to do that before. 'Riyya had to admit that it was probably the better idea. If she grabbed his tail she could very well end up pulling on it or running into his rump. A rather embarrassing situation she would like to avoid.
"Uh.. thanks." She leaned again his shoulder then eased off slightly. Trying to determine what would be the best. Soon comfortable that she could feel him, yet wouldn't impede either of them from walking.
"Alright, lead on then." There was a hill around? She certainly couldn't tell and that irked her slightly.

Hatari waited for ‘Riyya to adjust before starting to walk. With his shoulder brushing hers, she wouldn’t have a difficult time aligning herself by direction. He supposed it might have been more physical contact than she wanted, but he had no better solution for her. As they came up the hill he slowed and then stopped. He was a little concerned that her yelling before might have scared off anything worth stalking, but apparently the slope of the hill had killed the noise.
“There’s some impala. Two does and a buck,” he said with some excitement in his voice.

Shukriyya felt the lion slowing his footsteps as the ground started to level out slightly. That must mean they were at the top of the hill. Darkness still greeted her eyes. Her head turned slightly. She waited for him to fill her in. Impala.
"They're fast. I sure hope your a good runner. Stalk as close as you can get for the best chance. When they run, you need to get close enough to trip them. Hook your claws into one of their back legs."
'Riyya sat down. Either he would be able to follow her instructions and pull it off or not. Privately she hoped he would succeed somehow.
