"Well," she started with a hesitant frown, slowly sitting on the couch as she attempted to remember everything, "he mentioned remembering it with you, but I think that wasn't until later.. First, when I found him, he asked me if I'd get over it if he died." Which had nearly gave her a heart attack. "I wouldn't answer, even though he kept insisting. He's not a very nice drunk," she added with a frown, lips pursed as she remembered his words and behavior.
Zeus was concentrating just as hard, staring at the screen and stretching to push the right buttons while kicking the bar at the right moments. For such a strange-looking form, he wasn't doing too horribly.

Ah, yes... Isadora had almost overlooked the whole "dying" conversation she and Lucas. That was one that... she did not exactly enjoy remembering. "Yehs, wehll, I would be t' blahme f'r that dyin' cohmment. I mehntioned t' him tha' you wouhld be vereh sahd should he die, whihch... I ahssumed you would be." Isa also told Lucas how she herself would be sad, which was true. Despite knowing him for only a short time, she had actually grown rather attached to the troubled man. Of course, she would dare not say that our loud in front of Claire. The frantic button pushing continued, and Isadora frowned as she fought to keep up with the flashing lights on-screen. "Arceus alihve, I was so pissed at Luhcas f'r even considerin' suicihde. Guess sohme therapeh doesn't get ahll of th' rage t' go away forevah."

"Of course I would." As if she somehow wouldn't be. Ridiculous. Her eyes wandered to the tv, watching the progression of colors and circles and sounds and.. it sort of made her head spin. She wasn't a big fan of video games. "Did he actually seem like he would, though? I mean, I know it's not a pleasant thing to think about, but did he like.. put it right against his head or something, or just kind of hold it in the vicinity of his head?" Like she had.
Zeus was still trying as hard as he could to push all the buttons necessary with three whole appendages. It wasn't that hard, he just.. needed more practice. Plenty more. As long as he didn't fail everything would be good.

Isadora's face turned grim and she sighed. "Even if he was bluhffing about it ahll, I dared not take any chahnces. The fahct thaht th' guhn barrel was anywhere near his head made it a dihre situation. An' yes: it wahs against his head, cohcked an' ready t' be puhlled." Gracious... Lucas was a kind and thoughtful man, to be sure, but he was such an idiot sometimes! The past few minutes saw the song winding itself up and drawing to a close. The colors and notes came at a flurry now, and Isadora's fingers moved quickly to hit the buttons and the switches in time and with the beat. She did not even pay attention to the score or her opponent now. There was just her, the controller, and the music.

"Ah." Of course. Augh, Lucas, what the hell was she going to do with him? "I don't think he was bluffing when he was drunk," she said with a sigh, brows knitted together. "No, I don't think he was at all. He just seemed really adamant about it and making me answer that stupid question. He wouldn't stop." Until she made him, that is. She'd have to apologize for that eventually... But eventually wasn't for a while, so she dropped the thought.
Zeus' foot and paws moved quickly to try and hit all the right notes in order and match the beat, but it was sort of hard due to not having fingers or opposable thumbs. Or normal-sized arms with which to hold the guitar-shaped controller. None of that stopped him from playing, however, though it was easy for him to make mistakes that would lower his score, as well as be unable to use whatever that blue glowy stuff was. Something about stars, or something, but since he could never use it he had no idea what it did.

Isadora tightened her lips as she attempted to concentrate on both the video game and Claire's words - both of which were extremely important. Which would be more important in the long run...? Arceus only knew, but the end of the particular song that the psychologist and the Pikachu were playing was quickly approaching. She was not going to falter now at the home stretch. "Heh, thaht's good, then. It means my wohrds got through t' him. He cahres about you a loht, I'm sure y' know. Such a cahring man, he is..." Isa's periwinkle eyes turned downward for a moment, then reattached themselves to the flashing screen. "...He doehs not dehserve such a fate as what he rehcieved."

Zeus had no idea when the song would end, but he did know it had been going on for some minutes and it had to be soon. He hoped so, anyway. It was getting hard to keep his paws on the right colored keys and his back foot slipped over the bar occasionally, but he wouldn't let these mistakes get him down. No, he was determined to beat her, but in reality it was highly likely he wouldn't. Claire knew he'd be lucky to get 70%.
"Oh?" She said, studying the psychologist curiously as she played against the Pikachu. "What did you say to him?" She skipped over her comments - she knew full well how much Lucas cared, whether he admitted it or not. He was a guy, after all, and guys didn't admit stuff like that. Her expression, however, darkened slightly at the mention of destiny. "No, he doesn't deserve it at all."

A heavy sigh escaped the doctor as she continued to play, fingers hitting the buttons in time with the fading music. One more second, one more second... And then the song was completed, the crowd in the audience on the screen cheering and clapping for their two gladiators. Two scores popped onto the screen, displaying two numbers; one for Player One, the other for Player Two. Player One's score was just above 95%, while Player Two got... 60%. An admirable effort. Isadora placed down the controller and gave a little smile to her opponent beside her. "Not bahd, lihttle friend."Standing up straight, Isadora turned back to Claire, arms folded across her chest. "Wehll... Like I said befohre, I remindehd him tha' many people would miss 'im should he pahss... You an' I includehd." She cast a sidelong glance at her friend, then looked towards the floor. "I ahlso threatened t' break his nose if he evah held a gun t' his head agaihn. Heh..." A chuckle. "...An' I tohld him... I tohld him what a kind an' forgihvin' man he was, and tha' he needed t' learn t' forgihve himself."

Upon seeing the scores, Zeus violently threw the strap off before shoving the guitar-shaped controller away from himself and resumed his comical, very serious pouting. That lady cheated. He wasn't sure how or why or how, but he knew that she did. She was an effin' cheater.
Claire rolled her eyes at the Pikachu before ignoring him and focusing on Isadora once more. The comment about breaking his nose made her chuckle lightly, though she didn't know how much Lucas believed that threat. "Well, please don't actually break his nose." That wouldn't, uh, be very good. At all. Probably rather painful, if nothing else. Possibly also slightly embarrassing if it got around that a girl broke his nose. "And he does need to learn that, but.. I'm not sure if he ever will." A sigh accompanied the words, her tone implying she didn't believe he would. He might accept it, but wouldn't ever forgive himself. Even if he did for being an assassin, he never would for Morrison.

Upon witnessing that now-infamous pout of Zeus's, Isadora stifled another chuckle and shrugged. "Mm, thaht's how th' cookie cruhbmles, kiddo. Sorreh."Isadora sat herself down on the couch with a "thump," scratching behind Iditarod's ears as she did. The doctor looked to Claire with a slight frown on her face. "Wehll, I have t' make good my threats, dohn't I? What kind of pehrson would I be othahwise?" She gestured towards herself indignantly, then huffed and looked away. "...If he does force me t' tahke such actions, Arceus willin' thaht he doesn't, I prohmise I wohn't break it too bahdly." Yeah... Let's see how long that would hold for. Isadora's visage became more somber as she continued listening to Claire. Surely he could learn... couldn't he? It wasn't out of the realm of possibility... "...It's a shahme that hulimiteh cahn be tahken so far that it becohmes a sin rahther than a virtue. Heh... A real shahme."

"I suppose so," she agreed as her mouth twitched into an amused smile. Though, she still had no desire to see Lucas walking around with a broken nose. "You mean if he does that again?" 'That' most likely meaning putting a gun anywhere near the vicinity of his head. "Oh, no, I highly doubt he'd be too eager to do that again anytime soon," though she wasn't about to admit why she thought that. Isadora might be a little upset if she found out that Claire had done something similar to Lucas, but at least she had no intentions of injuring herself, unlike the older scarred man.
"Yeahh.." A sigh. He really did need to learn to forgive himself.. But maybe... "I think.. if he ever remembers Luke, then he might.. I'm not sure. But if he doesn't, I don't think he ever will." Especially if he remembered Morrison. Arceus, she hoped he didn't.. it would break his heart, and she wasn't sure how much more it could take.
Unlike his trainer, Zeus was not content to just sit there and socialize with a damned cheater. With a huff, he stood and made a dramatic show of walking to the door and standing in front of it, glaring at it for some moments. Suddenly he flopped forward, his forehead pressed against it, and uttered a muffled, indignant "chu."
Claire blinked a moment or two before sighing, watching the annoying electric-type out of the corner of one eye. "I suppose someone wants us to leave," she sighed.

Isadora sighed. "...I cehrtainleh hope he doehsn't hurt himsehlf like thaht again." ...What exactly would happen if Lucas suddenly remembered Luke and all that he did? How would he handle it? Isa couldn't find any real definitive answer to that question, having to way to probe into Lucas' mind and having no connection to Luke himself. If only she could have met Luke and observe him... She, too, noticed the annoying display of the unhappy, competitive Pikachu, and she raised an eyebrow at his antics. Was he truly that much of a spoil-sport when it came to losing to such a modest and humble champion-of-all-video-games-forever as her? Disgraceful. It was rather humorous, though, and the doctor had a difficult time attempting to keep her bemused smile out of sight. "It is of lihttle concerhn. We needed to depahrt soon, anyway. Right, Iditahrod?" Isadora turned her head back to her Arcanine, who barked and wagged her large, bushy tail in reply. Isa smiled as she looked back to Claire. "Wehll, we'll be off, thehn. Tahke care of yourself, Claihre." With that, Isa walked past the little Pikachu and down the hall, Iditarod close at her heels.
