"Most gladly," Brise smiled, moving even with the elf while Maverik stayed in the shadows. "I can here because I was told the Abysmal Haven is a safe place for all who enter. This was the last place I and my companion had to come to." She motioned to where she knew Maverik was standing. "No one can harm you here, all are welcome, and all belong." Her smile filled her eyes, showing how she truely felt like she belonged.
"Aye, we search long and hard for this place. What brings you here, Ana?" His dark voice filled the area, drawing complete attention to himself. It was more gentle now, but it was still harsh, all his tones were harsh to some extent.

Her pace was slightly faster than a walk, it was an easy one to keep though. Ana looked over when Brise motioned towards Maverik, noticing him for the first time. The Abysmal Haven? She had heard of it, but not much aside from it's name. "I am happy to hear that." Anastasia had no enemies she knew of but it was possible for her to have acquired some in her travels. "If you don't mind my asking, why was this the last place for you two to come?" She was curious about Brise and Maverik's circumstances.
"A home, I guess." Ana clasped her hands behind her back as she spoke. There was no meaning behind the action, it was simply something she did unconsciously every now and then. "I have been a traveler most of my life. It was something I wanted to do and has been fairly enjoyable but I thought it was about time I find a home for myself. I came across a group that was headed here and they let me come with them."

Rain sighed from looking at the two men and walked off. She then started to look around, she felt spritual pressres coming from on the right of her, 34 feet away from her. But she ignored it and kept walking, then after awhile, she stopped. "No use of being here." she said to herself and strecth out her left arm. "Time to go" she said and snapped with her left hand and came out fo her hand was her broom, buno. Floating in the air, she hopped on it and flew out of the forest

Brise shot Maverik a lethal glare. Then turned back to Ana, her eyes sad. "Maverik has taken care of me since I was little, and I am being hunted for no reason by those that brought me into this world." She smiled through her pain. "This is the only place we could come where no one would harm us. That, and I guess this is the closest place to a home either of us has had in a long time." She kept her head high, holding her tears at bay. Let the past lay, as Maverik would say.
"Aye, Brise and I have traveled long and hard for a place to call home. I have never had a true home, and took her in as my own. We have search for somewhere we belong." Maverik took over talking, feeling Brise's sadness. "I am Maverik, I give you my most sincere apologies if I sounded unkind before." He bowed low from his waist, his old world accent tinging his voice.

Ana listened intently as Brise spoke. Why would parents hunt their own child for no reason? It didn't make sense to her. She waited until Brise finished talking to speak. "It's nice that you two have found a safe place to stay." She offered Brise a comforting smile. Anastasia really wasn't sure what else to say. She wouldn't tell them she understood what it was like because she didn't. Her life had probably been easy compared to theirs.
"Nice to meet you Maverick." Ana turned slightly to face him as she spoke. "And think nothing of it." She said with a smile. Ana had learned long ago not to judge a person by how they looked or sounded. It had been a long time since someone had bowed to her, but Ana's body remembered what to do and bowed back. She'd never been one to curtsy, it just wasn't her. "From what Brise has told me about this place it sounds like your search is over."

"Aye, that is what we hope." His jet eyes alighted at her bow, unaccustomed to a female doing so. "Mayhap our journeys have crossed in the past? I have been most everywhere in this world." He moved to her other side, offering her his arm.
Brise rolled her eyes, letting them get a few paces ahead before continuing behind. let Maverik have his fun, she was just grateful for the gentle company of another female. It had been a long time since she had had a friend other than the giant of a male compared to her.

"Quite the gentleman aren't you?" Ana chuckled and placed her hand on the arm he offered. "It is entirely possible Maverik, I have met many people in my travels. I think I would remember one such as yourself though."

Brise stifled a laugh, ducking her head before Maverik could turn.
"Mayhap not, dear Ana. Maverik is a master at hiding himself. There have been times when I myself have not recognized him." Her eyes were alight once again.
Maverik hmped, turning his attention back to the elf on his arm. She was light of frame, he noticed, and quite pretty. "I have traveled the Nile, hunted the beasts of the Amazon Jungle, lived among kings in Scotland. There is not much I have yet to do." He smiled at her before adding in a quieter voice. "Except have a beautiful elf on my arm, as you are now." His black eyes glittered in mirth.
Holding a hand over her mouth, Brise did her best not to make unladylike noises. She had never seen this side of Maverik before.
"Maverik and I have traveled over much of this world, even staying among elves for a time in the past." Brise added quietly, almost to the point no one could hear her. She didn't want to hurt Maverik's chance at living, he had been too solomn these past years. If he was granted a chance to find happiness, she would not stand in his way.

A smile danced across her lips at Brise's comment. "Really?" Ana arched an eyebrow at Maverik. "Would you hide from me?" She asked him in a playful tone.
"Sounds like an interesting life." Ana commented, her sensitive ears easily picking up his last comment. A slight blush crept up the elf's cheeks. "I find that hard to believe Maverik, you're quite charming." Ana spoke pushing a stray strand of hair out of her face with her free hand then smiling at him. "Honestly, I don't even remember names for all the places I have been to." She said with a laugh. "I am fairly certain that I have been most everywhere in this world though."
"Truly? It is possible you have met my family then." Ana's voice grew thoughtful as she recalled her homeland. It had been a long time since she last heard from them, such was not unusual though.

One could almost see him stand prouder, his head slightly higher. He had not received a compliment like that in, he couldn't remember when.
"I would never hide, I merely know how to blend very well. True men hide for nothing." He glared at Brise for her choice of words. "It was interesting, until we started to be hunted. Then everyone we met was a possible enemy. The elves were quite kind, but none ever caught my fancy, or did not think me worthy because I am not an elf." He kept his expression guarded.
"When I was little," Brise cut in, hoping to pull the conversation back to being light. "An elf found me and took me in, I had met Maverik, but he was not much of a guardian at the time. I was the first child he had ever come across without someone around. They raised me until I was able to go out on my own." She could still hear them, the songs and music that had been part of her live for that short time.

"I see." Ana smiled as she watched the two of them. It was obvious they were close, they acted almost like brother and sister. That's what she thought anyway. "Well you two shouldn't have to worry about that here right?" Ana was kind of happy to hear Maverik hadn't liked any other elves, not that she would admit it...yet. "That's their loss for being that way then." She said when he mentioned elves that thought they were too good for him. "Shame though, they're missing out."
Ana giggled at the image that formed in her mind, a frantic Maverik and tiny version of Brise. It was probably wrong, but funny none the less. "Did you enjoy your time among my people Brise?"

Nicholas flew toward the Abysmal Haven, not really caring whether to stop at that destination or not. Invisible in the wind, his curious eyes noticed a few people in the Forgotten Forest where he was flying over. One of them, he immediately made out to be an elf. A grin formed on his face remembering how the elves back in the Elven domain took him seriously. Another pretty woman caught his eye, but did not see any specific detail that would reveal her race. The both of them were standing next to a man, all chatting. Nicholas looked around for something amongst the forest before his eyes lit up. He continued to remain invisible and glided down into the forest at a close distance between the man and the two women.

"Indeed, we have no threat here. Indeed about your race as well, but had the elves not, I would not be in your company as I am now, Signora Ana."He bowed, slightly since she was still on his arm, to her as he call her Lady.
"To me, it was home for a few years. They taught me many things, and clothed me as well." She admitted, a wan smile tilting her lips. She sensed a male nearby, but did not pay him much mind, on the surface anyway. Inside, she was sensing if he was a threat to her or Ana. Maverik could take care of himself, weapon or no weapon.
Maverik could see the male was wind, as both Brise and he were, but kept a close check on his aura. If he moved, he would know immediately. He really needed to talk Brise into buying another sword for when he was in this form.

Ana blushed a little as Maverik spoke and bowed to her again. "I should count myself lucky then." She smiled at him and she did think she was lucky. How could those elves have overlooked this gentleman for something as trivial as race?
"That's good to hear." Ana said, nodding. "Did you ever attend any of the celebrations?" She asked them both. Her eyes lit up with the memory of nights filled with music and dancing. As Nicholas approached she heard and felt wind, nothing more.

Nicholas looked around the forest grounds, nodding to himself in agreement. That should do it. As simple as it was, he was quite proud of himself for thinking of this. His long hair flipped behind him as he turned his head toward the direction of his three audiences. Who's lucky enough to go first? He grinned playfully. Nicholas silently moved closer to the bushes to get a better look, observing them and their actions in order to decide.
