"Really? Perfect!" She grinned, but frowned when she saw that the Kobold in her hands were trying to bite her; she had been bitten before - by Pugs when he was a puppy - so she didn't drop the creature immediately. She did, however, turn it towards herself, rotating it so that they were staring at each other. Gripping it in her left hand, she gave it a flick on the forehead with her index finger, careful not to use too much force - just enough to shut it up and make it listen.

"I am not going to eat you, but if you do not calm yourself down right now, you might hurt yourself from all the squirming." She stared at the creature in the eye, her voice firm as she held onto it - Gimbal? Was that its name? - before patting it gently on its head with a small grin, "You're still adorable though, despite the attempted biting."

He should be grateful for that - being adorable.

Riley patted the two eggs that she held, and nodded at Lizzy's question - but had no time to verbalize her response. She was, however, especially interested in the idea that it could fight gnomes. She brought her two eggs closer to her bosom, and cuddled them - darling little gnome killers, they were.

Watching Jericho's kobold bite Lizzy took some of the delight away from her new acquisition, though it still meant they had a good deal of fight in them. Which she liked. She just.. hoped none of them attempted to bite her. She'd hate to explain the remains to her friend..

Lizzy's level headed response to being bitten, however, was intriguing. Riley hadn't placed too much attention on Lizzy, save for being Jericho's date for the dance - but her reasonable response to the squirming kobold put her in a new light.

A good light.

Riley's mind worked at a startling speed, as plans began to fall into place like puzzle pieces. Her eyes slid to her best friend for a moment, before returning to Lizzy. If she had a mouth, she was sure it would give her away as it would have curved into a slow growing smile.

Yui had always considered herself to be a relatively tidy person. She rarely made messes in her room or allowed clutter and dust to build up. However, she had never counted on R'lyeh's shedding. Dark hairs from her boafox's tail were slowly beginning to coat the walls and furniture in her room and Yui needed help in keeping it under control.

So, as far as she was concerned, little servants were needed. And that she could acquire those servants free of charge.... well. Only a fool wouldn't take the dragon boy up on his offer. And Yui, in her own opinion, was no fool.

Facing the dragon's door, she raised a hand and knocked.

Petro did not need any help in keeping his room tidy. He brought only few things to the academy, just the essentials like clothes, and a few training equipment. Nothing he couldn't manage on his own. But the monster horse still made his way towards Jericho's room not for a servant but perhaps a guardian minipet. Oh sure, his starsier had seniority and was technically in charge of his lair whenever he was out but the winged minipet wasn't exactly the authoritative type. His wishing candy had shown she was far too docile to show any form of aggression as well. Perhaps if this reptilian creature Jericho was offering had the right disposition he would entrust it with the important job of defending the others.

Once he made up his mind, Petro arrived at said room and found a ghoul knocking on the door. "Y' here 'cuz y' read the note, too?" he asked with a tilt of his head.

It was an amusing image for sure that popped into Jericho's mind. Kobolds fighting off gnomes for whatever reasons that came up. Grinning at that thought, he quickly frowned at Gimbal's attempts to bite Lizzy. The little blue kobold normally wasn't a biter, but he guessed that he was stressed enough right now to try.

Getting flicked in the forehead did its trick and Gimbal quickly calmed down. He was still nervous for sure and his eyes kept darting from side to side, glancing between this new demon and the Illithid in the room. After a few moments, he decided he liked the pink haired one more. Riley was still very scary. In fact, she looked like she was scheming which incited another glare for her.

This word adorable though... he did not know it. Tilting his head, he stared at Lizzy in confusion.

Hearing the door knock, Jericho glanced at the two girls, then headed to the entrance to open it up. Standing outside, he saw a girl he hadn't really seen around before, and a familiar monster boy. Petro was it? Since he really wasn't familiar with these two, there really could only be one reason for their arrival.

"Hey guys," he greeted with a nod, "Come on in! The eggs are over this way."

Glancing sidelong at the boil who'd come up and spoken to her, Yui gave a quick, polite nod and smile.

"Yes. A small helper sounded useful."

Before she had time to worry about the possibility of small talk, the door opened and the dragon boy was standing there. That he took for granted the fact that they'd come for... whatever it was he was giving away, didn't surprise her a bit. Stepping inside, she took note of the fact that their host already had company. Best to be in and out quickly then.

"I apologize if this is not a good time," she began in a soft voice, quickly bowing to everyone in the room. "But your note intrigued me and I did not wish to waste time getting over here."

A bit formal, but Yui prided herself on her nigh-impeccable manners. Eyeing the pile of eggs questioningly, she turned to the dragon boy.

"If it is not too much to ask, may I have two? There is a great deal of boafox shedding that I need to get under control."

"Good, smart move Gimbel," Lizzy grinned at the Kobold before patting him gently on his head, where she had hit him before. Noticing his confused expression, however, she giggled - he's like Jericho in the cute(r)-when-awkward/confused sort of way - and proceeded to hold him like she was carrying a soft toy, looking down at him, "I mean you're cute~ And Riley can be trusted, yes. Don't doubt her and make your master angry again!"

She frowned slightly, her voice firm as she practically scolded him like she would scold a child; at least, she was pretty sure that's what all the shouting earlier was about.

When Jericho moved to open the door, she turned around, momentarily distracted by the new arrivals. She recognized Yui from Minipet class, the ghoul's bow was met with a smile and polite dip of her head. The other new arrival, however, caused her face to lit up as she rushed over to the boil, teh Kobold still held in her arms.

"Mohaw- Petro!" She couldn't stop herself from smiling at the boil as she stood in front of him, relieved to finally see him in person after so long, "Oh! Its good to see that you're well! It had been some time!"

Before Petro could say anything else to the ghoul, the door opened and a boil invited them in. And while Jericho now had a name to attach to the face (or loincloth, whichever was easier to remember) Petro still did not have a name to associate with the dragon boil he'd met during their raid on Christmas Town. He hadn't seen Jericho's humanoid form and for all he knew, there could be another boil on campus with draconic red wings. The tikbalang decided against making assumptions and instead entered the room, stepping in after the ghoul. Ladies first after all.

"Only need one," Petro stated in reference to how many eggs he wanted before a grin appeared on his face when he saw who else was in the room. "Lizzy! Riley! Y' here too?" He was unaware he was displaying his uncanny ability of pointing out the obvious.

((I usually "grow" my minis via my main account randonimity but I made a separate one for Petro and will be transferring the grown Kobold to his account if that's alright with you.))

"No, it's fine, now's as good of a time as any," Jericho said to the shark lady. Nodding to her, he made his way towards some of the eggs he had set out to fetch them for her. He also grabbed on for Petro. Once he had them in hand, he carefully passed them to the two students.

"Here you guys go! Just keep them in a warm, dry place if possible," he nodded.

It seemed that he was familiar with Riley as well, though that made sense since the Illithid was always with the dragon during their raid on Christmastown.

Gimbal made a hissing noise at the comment about Riley being able to be trusted. But he held his tongue this time around. He didn't want to get flicked in the head again after all! Nor did he want to get punted into the lava. The latter would be considerably worse than the former for sure.

He let out a squawk of sorts as they started to move again quickly. Two others had come in it seemed. The kobold blinked at the newcomers, not quite sure what to make of them just yet.

"She's not that bad, really," She giggled, her voice soft as she lowered her head to the creature she was carrying as it was intended for Gimbal's ears only, "Have some faith in Jericho."

Looking back up at the boil's greeting, she grinned, "Yes! We'll need to catch up one of these days!" Now that she was feeling less excited about seeing a familiar face about, however, she noticed that there was something different about his loincloth. She took a moment to stare (as subtly as she could, of course) at it - the color changed? Its not as striking as before, but Petro really pulled the whole 'wearing very little' look off.

Looking at the eggs Jericho was handing out, she remembered her real purpose of coming over, and thus, using only one arm to support the Kobold she was holding, used her other arm to gesture at the eggs.

"How long will it take for them to hatch?" She wondered if Rosenthal would be up for playing the role of father while she's in class... Then again, she had a feeling that the Pata-Pata would probably be a bad influence on the new hatchling. Or whatever you call a baby Kobold.

Viveca had never considered herself a 'neat' demon, but then, she hadn't ever cared about being neat and tidy. What she did care about, though, was being able to find her tools when she needed them. She'd be working on a project, and it'd be allllll the way across the room. Sometimes it was just laziness, pure and simple. But sometimes she needed to keep her hand here and have a wrench in the other hand.

It just didn't work.

When she saw the note about getting a reptilian servant, her interest was piqued...until she saw she'd have to go to the Monster dorm to get one. Her nose had wrinkled up a bit. Hadn't her parents always said that the monsters were beneath them?

In the end, she had decided to tough it out. She certainly liked free things being given to her, and while she was in the Monster dorm, she could take the layout, to start working on a prank. It was almost like a win-win situation for her.

Almost.

Viveca walked up to the door to 312 and knocked a couple times, her hand had a tremor as she did (although more likely due to the 3 cups of espresso she had just downed, than to any sort of nervousness).

The bulletin note had taken a moment to sink into Tabitha's thick skull but as soon as the message made sense to her the crack that made her mouth widened in a smile. Never before had she thought of using her precious toys as anything more than living playthings(or in some cases fashion accessories) and the idea of them being helpful appealed to the skeleton teen.

So there she was. Inside of a dormitory she'd never had reason to visit before. Standing at a door belonging to someone she was completely unfamiliar with. Judging from the general clatter coming from the other side she guessed that either these "reptilian helpers" were very loud or she was not the first person to take heed of the advertisement. Raising her hand she wrapped her bare bones against the door before simply allowing herself in.

... There were a lot of others milling about for one dorm room. She noticed with a tilt of her head that, like she, they were mostly all ghouls. "Hello? Which one of you does this room belong to?"

There had been a very curious note on the bulletin board. Something about needing help along with a room number. Seiji couldn't quite recall, but it had caught his attention. Being new, he was also looking to expand his experiences with his fellow students, and this seemed a perfect excuse to do just that.

Hands stuffed in his pockets carefully(He'd torn so many pairs of pants with a careless claw..), the jikinnki meandered his way down the halls of the monster dorms. Counting down the numbers besides the doors.

Idly, he wondered if Junko's room was among those that he'd already passed, but he put the thought aside for now.

When he got to the right place he laid a couple of knocks against the door before testing the knob, and finding it unlocked he poked his head in. "Hey, I heard someone need a hand.." He trailed off as he spotted the eggs, finally recalling the note in full. Reptilian servant, well that was different.

Sheridan had eyed the notice on the board with interest. As if his room was already chaotic enough with that monster of his running around and tearing his books to shreds for no other reason than it amused him. One of these days he was going to get a muzzle for that beast, or at least stop leaving him in his room unattended, but then that opened up a whole multitude of other problems, such as other students being bitten.

Thinking about it, the idea of a helpful pet or two was seeming like a better idea. Maybe they could help keep the beast in check, or at the very least keep all those damn mimics off his floor and maybe help him keep his books on the shelves where they belonged (he really was very bad about putting them away when he was finished).

So with his favorite book tucked under his arm, he had gone to Jericho's room and knocked on the door.

"I saw your notice, and--"

Peering through the open door, Sheridan raised a brow, and he thought his room had issues...

His original thought had been to ask for only one, but when he thought about it seemed a better idea to ask for two. He only hoped Tanaka didn't eat them before they hatched...

"Under the right conditions, it should take a few days to a week," Jericho explained, "Otherwise it'd take... considerably longer."

That second bit was essentially how he kept the eggs from hatching on him. Having an abundance of eggs was one thing, and being overwhelmed by living kobolds was another. Dealing with a handful at a time was more than enough for him. As a few others came by, he opened the door once more and shifted his attention over towards them. Neither of the four newcomers were very familiar to the dragon.

"That'd be me," he said to the skeleton-girl before looking towards the others briefly. It seemed that quite a few girls were interested in the offer he had. In general he was glad that his note had gotten a fair amount of attention. It meant that a decent amount of the kobolds were able to get homes here, "I'm guessing you all are here for the eggs as well? Come on in."

Glancing to the new boy that had entered, he gave a nod, "You could say that, but I could potentially be help you out as much as you are to me. The Kobolds aren't limited to just housekeeping."

He then looked over at the dragon student that had stopped in mid-sentence and tilted his head, not familiar with the type of dragon he might be.

Gimbal didn't reply to Lizzy and instead focused his attention at the ones coming into the room. This place certainly had an interesting array of people for sure. However, at the sight of another dragon he seemed to perk up with excitement. While he wasn't sure about the others, he was certain the dragon would take good care of his brethren! He was sure that the little hatchlings would be happy with that one indeed. Much moreso than being with the scary mindflayer.
