Or shortly after midnight... Sorry. Now it's time for one of my favorites: Sorry if this stretches the page. I'm on a Mac and just can't tell. This is my answer to the assignment of creating a cereal ad. I decided to do what I would most love as a child and created bone shaped cereal in a coffin shaped box, with skull-shaped marshmallows. Unfortunately, all I was able to get was this photo before it to became a victim of the unexpected flood... But I hope that you like it.

Sorry For The Really Late Reply...Ive Gotten Distracted. Onto The Art! I Like The Whole Idea Of The Cereal Box, The Coffin Box, Really Adds A Touch. The Corpse, Adds That Deadly Delight To The Box. But The Tombstone, Is Pretty Far Away...Or Was It Meant That Way? Alas, The "Now With Skull Marshmellows" And "Turns Milk Red On Contact" Shouldnt That Have Been On The Box?
Other Than That, Shading And Highlights Look Right. I Would Have Loved To Eaten That Cereal >.>

Lunchbox Material Alas, The "Now With Skull Marshmellows" And "Turns Milk Red On Contact" Shouldnt That Have Been On The Box? In production, it might very well be, but we weren't to create a cereal box. We were to create a cereal ad, that featured a cereal box. I could have either cluttered things onto the box and made it look busy and diminished the desired effect, of I could just make them starbusts as part of the ad. Being a graphic designer or illustrator basically means seeing your baby being raped by corporate America, but that doesn't mean in a school assignment, where we actually have creative control, we can't do things our way. Besides all of that, imagine it on the box. It would be towards the top, right, and one towards he bottom. The one on the bottom would make all the subtle and subdued colors just look dull and washed out and the one at the top would be fighting for attention from the moon and taking attention away from the moon... Nothing doing. I definitely stand by this one. I hope that I didn't come off as defensive. I'm just trying to explain why I did what I did and why I don't regret it one bit. New art coming momentarily.

This is one of my older works, from back in high school. Again another photo, but this one actually lends itself better to photography than it does to scanning. Here we were playing with gel medium. We were to create combs and do works rooted in texture. I call this one Hellscape. Beyond that, I think I'll simply let the work speak for itself.

So sorry, I came upon this only after my post. Persuasive demons? Could you elaborate on that one? I'm not sure that I fully understand your question.

Okay, About The New Photograph. If Anything, It Looks Like A Normal Sunset...In A Desert. I Dont Know If It Was Just Me That Noticed, But Given The Idea Of The Image Of What Hell Is Supposed To Look Like, It Really Lacks Detail.

I like the first one. "The original cereal that goes bump in the morning" I would actually buy that if the milk did not turn red.

These are all mine and it's certainly an ability that I have to call upon. I can trace most of them back to some source or amalgamation of my interests. And thank the rest of you for your comments as well. As usual, there will be another new one up tomorrow.
