Well, I think Ringmaster's insides are also invisible to the naked eye. When he opens his mouth, you can see his inside, but otherwise he's invisible.

That would imply that his dermis is the only thing invisible. And as we can not see through it it is also reflective as wearing an invisible cloak. SO IF WE TOOK OFF HIS SKIN WE COULD SEE HIM

OR maybe he's like a chameleon, changing his skin at will. Appearing invisible is the most gimmicky, so that's why he chooses to stay primarily "invisible." Also explains why we can see his face and hair. =V Why would he want to hide a face like that, amirite?
