"Yeah. And I get what you mean. I hated the snow and all the JOY.. but I've made some really good friends because of it. And it sort of opened my eyes on just how much I need to grow still."
While the actual fights he had gotten in were not troublesome at all, is last few moments in that area really humbled him. Between the Death Charm and seeing how Jingleberry handled it, he saw just how weak he was. It wasn't something he liked to think about. But Lizzy had a point, most of the people here probably wanted to become stronger. Most likely it was at least one of the reasons why they enrolled as well.
But at this point in his life... he really didn't know what he wanted to do with it exactly.
"Boutique? Like a flower shop?" he asked, curious to make sure he had the right thing in mind.

"Yes, precisely!" She nodded, glad that they were on the same wavelength on that issue, "I wish the school would give us more warning when it comes to field trips though... Instead of herding us on trains and sending us off to an unknown place and then asking us to go on a raid. If they gave us more warning, I don't think I would mind another field trip. Especially after that... Hm..."
She paused as she recalled another incident, not quite sure what happened that day, but she vaguely remembered seeing him there... Still, its good to ask first, "Were you there when this Reaper guy attacked?" She was referring to the incident that happened in the forest, of course.
"Oh, no!" She laughed, shaking her head before grinning, "As in clothes! Spider silk can do more than cut through flesh, you know..."

A little more of a heads up would be good in the future for sure. At least that way they could get a little more in terms of preparations. With that last field trip, he wouldn't have even able to begin to expect what had actually happened. Jericho had feelings that others were in the same boat as him in terms of that.
At the mention of that reaper dude in the forest, his eyes narrowed.
"Oh yeah. I sure was. Jack damn guy just thinks he could waltz into our territory and mock us and leave like that!" he huffed, "I'd like to show that guy a thing or two."
The way he had managed to just absorb their FEAR was troubling, but he wanted to get back at him big time. His expression lightened up when lizzy cleared up what her family business was exactly.
"Oooh gotcha. That makes sense now," he nodded.

"Indeed, I need to pay him back for what he did as well," She frowned, although it was worrying what he did... Draining them of their FEAR like that. They had the advantage of numbers, but he managed to take all of them down without moving from his spot. They would need proper training before they can actually face him on an equal level, probably... But all of that would probably come in time.
"I doubt the school would just leave it as that, since it does have a reputation of being... Well, obnoxious!" She nodded, her voice lowering to a whisper before she continued, leaning towards the boil, "We're talking about Headmistress Hellma after all... The monster who sent us to raid Christmas." She grinned before straightening, her voice returning to normal, "I'm sure everyone who was present that day would want to have at that guy anyway."
"Yes! Although it seems like some in the family would rather gather FEAR," She nodded, stroking her chin, "I wonder if I can do both... Gather FEAR when I'm younger and once I find a mate I can settle down and take over the business." Planning ahead was something she was good at - actually achieving what she had planned was a little different.
After all, things don't always go according to plan!

Nodding, Jericho frowned while wondering just who that Reaper guy was anyway. The place he teleported to reminded him of the human world... but that just didn't seem right to him. The guy couldn't have just gone there, right?
"Yeah you have a point there, but I doubt they're really going to fill us in on it soon... Given how much they tell us about things. I heard the raid was just to kidnap Sandy Claws of all things," he grumbled, "Most likely if they want us to help out with it, they'll just tell us to do something without giving the reason again."
"Though.. I remember Arel saying something about the school being targeted..."
Shaking his head at the thought, he looked over towards the demon, "Well that could be nice I guess."

She laughed; despite the topic, it was rather amusing how used they were to the school's unorthodox ways - so much so that it was difficult to be surprised nowadays, "You're right there... And you might be right about the Sandy Claws part, actually." She paused, looking thoughtful, "During the school play on Nightmare before Christmas, the person acting as Sandy Claws looked very much like the real thing as illustrated in books... I asked around, and it appears that the actor wasn't a student!"
Besides, the role of Sandy Claws wasn't even mentioned during the auditions... It was as if it was planned from the start to use the mysterious stranger (probably the man himself) for the role.
"The play sucked though," She lamented the 'death' of the story, but the acting was terrible too. Well, minus Amrita, Tess, Malodore and G's acting... Then again, she was pretty biased, "There was drama on and off the stage... I was actually glad to see it finished!"
Her eyes widened at the new information, "Really? I arrived rather late to the 'party' that day..." She raised two fingers on both hands to do a wiggling sign at 'party', "So I missed out on the conversation between the staff... Sounds pretty serious though, if that's really the case."

"Yeah that's what I've heard," Jericho replied in regards to the play in general, "After the Christmas Trip I basically ended up hibernating for nearly a week apparently. Guess the trip took a lot out of me, but Riley did mention it being pretty awful."
She hadn't explained a whole lot to him, but it basically summed up as him not missing a whole lot at all and that it was probably better that he didn't see it. What he hadn't been aware of was that there was drama off the stage too, seeing how she had left out the bit of her getting into a brawl with Sarias in the middle of the performance.
"Yeah... Well.. it wasn't on the same day. It happened right after a bunch of us got transported to the human world. Arel said that the school might be targeted for whatever reason..and told us not to speak of it... but I can't help but feel that the two events are connected."

"I rested for a couple of days myself," She nodded, wincing a little as she remembered how the aftermath of the raid was, "It might had something to do with me being blasted into FEAR particles by that giant dragon on the hill in Candy Cane Lane though..." She shuddered at the memory, remembering how it felt like to be consumed by the flames; she can't blame Amrita for being frightened of fire, although it was more of an undead thing.
"If you become something like that in the future, I wouldn't want to be at the end of your flames," She grinned before blinking, "The human wor- Oh! I was there... But I didn't manage to run past the lanes with the odd metallic things on them and ended up joining everyone a little later." It seems like being late was starting to become a habit, intentionally or not.
"Although if you put it that way, I can see what you mean..." She looked troubled for a second as she frowned, "If its a fight that they're asking for though... I won't let history repeat itself if I can help it."

Jericho couldn't help but grin at the thought of becoming something like that Death Charm. Though, ideally, he would be even better than it, especially since it had been defeated by the snow ninja so easily. It would take awhile for him to reach that level for sure, however.
"Yeah same here," he said gruffly, in terms of fighting, "We'd at least have a better idea what to expect from that guy. Just... need to figure a way to avoid getting drained like that again."
Quite frankly, Jericho didn't really want to know what that reaper guy could do with all that extra FEAR he absorbed from all of them.

"Yes... I barely had the energy to stand up after that! Although that sudden surge of power I felt - I'm sure you felt it too right? - just before it happened..." She frowned slightly, looking down at her own hands before looking back up at the dragon, "How did he do that? I mean, he was the cause, right? Everyone 'power up' at the same time like a scene straight out of a game or movie... It can't be coincidental."
She paused, a thoughtful look crossing her face, "I've never felt that much power running through me before... I even managed to use my FEAR without it breaking until I hit my target! That's usually really difficult to do..." It was still difficult that time, but it didn't require as much concentration, which was already an improvement.

"Yeah I felt it too... it was... amazing. I was able to use my FEAR with no problems too at that time," Jericho said, though he was frowning as he did so, "Thinking back.. he probably did that to try and get us to use our FEAR."
He didn't really know what was going on with that guy, but he had the feeling that the reaper's main goal was to gather their FEAR to power up his weapon. It did not make the dragon happy to realize they had been tricked and used like that.
"I don't like this," he grumbled lowly.

"Considering everything that happened that night... He did," Lizzy didn't hesitate to agree as she nodded with a frown of her own, her tone and lack of hesitation suggesting that she had considered that possibility a long time ago, "At least, I'm pretty sure of it - he left the moment he was done with us, after all..." Her frown deepened as she lowered her gaze; they had used them, hurting her friends in the process.
However, realizing that their talk was just causing both of them to become rather grumpy and upset, she blinked, taking in a deep breath to try to clear the weird feeling she had on her chest. While it didn't exactly work, it did help to relieve her of some of the negative thoughts in her mind.
"Heyyy, I don't think anyone liked it," She smiled (although it was rather forced) before feeling rather bold and giving the dragon a punch on his arm (that was what boils do to each other, right?); she would have taken his arm if he was a she - alas, she didn't feel bold enough for that, "We got through Christmas and threw that place into chaos, we can make sure we get that Reaper for what he did to us, someday. Amityville has a reputation to uphold, after all!"

Jericho's frown grew as Lizzy agreed with his new thought. He had thought that guy had killed Riley that night too, which just angered him further. Oh, if Riley really had died, there would have been Jack to pay for sure. Feeling a small impact on his arm, he snapped from his thoughts and looked over at Lizzy.
"I guess you're right," He said with a faint smile of his own, "I'm sure we hadn't seen the last of him anyway."
It was probably more of a matter of when than if in terms of that reaper guy. The dragon was sure of it.
"And next time, we'll really give him a taste of our FEAR," he added as a fiery determination could almost been seen lit in his eyes.

It worked! Lizzy secretly felt delighted at the fact that the punch-on-arm seemingly did the trick, since she never had any experience with boil friends. That would go into her journal for sure! Her "secret" delight was reflected on her face, however, as her smile grew slightly. Giving a firm nod as her eyes narrowed in determination, she sounded pretty confident as she spoke, "I'm sure as well... We'll be prepared next time. At least, I know I am."
Chuckling softly at his proclamation, she couldn't help smiling up at the boil as she looked at the expression on his face. If anything, it was rather infectious as she felt pumped up as well, "I can see that you're all fired up! I like that!" Grinning, she then added as an afterthought, "One day, when you have a need to assume your natural form again, I want to be there to see it."
Partially because she wanted to see how her plushie compares, but she imagined it to be pretty impressive.

Nodding to Lizzy, Jericho just wondered what would be happening in the future. Maybe the Reaper would be coming back around here sometime, or perhaps something else would happen. He had to wonder if that pendant the group had chanced upon that one day would be able to open a gate to that white tower place. As intriguing as that thought was, he figured it probably wasn't too smart to try and hunt down the Reaper on his own turf without knowing anything of the place.
"Yeah, well I'll be ready to try and pummel that guy into the ground next time he shows his face around here," he said with a devious grin before blinking at her, "If you want to see my true form, I could always show you right now."
